Now I'm in the drive-thru at Culver's getting some food and their flavor of the day, chocolate covered strawberry. It's delicious! Love the custard. We also have an amazing gelato place here.
This reminded me that even though I love custard and chocolate, I did not like the chocolate shake at Culvers at all. I think it was the chocolate flavor. It tasted weird. I need to go back and try vanila to see if it is the flavor or for some reason the custard they make that I dont like.

Explain this feature. Do you have to buy them with real money, or is it an in-game currency thing?
What ever you want. Just like other card games from other sports.

Nice thing about the show though, is the in game currency is earned in every game mode, not just the online card mode. So playing RTTS got me some nice coin

Not a fan of straight up chocolate shakes/custard. I'd rather have a plain vanilla base and add chocolate. Like this one is vanilla with hardened chocolate and chunks of strawberry. Yum! Their food is good but fucking expensive. I only eat there occasionally.

The in-game currency is called stubs. You can earn them playing the game, or you can buy them with real money.

I got 12,000 stubs and 15 free packs for getting the Anniversary Edition. Packs cost 1,000 stubs. 1,000 stubs are 99 cents on the PSN store.

Yeah, that was the one I had.

I'll try to see if I can find a place with Creature Comfort stuff. I'll be going back and forth a bit between the Norcross and Dekalb areas.

Probably end up downtown atlanta at least once.
Depending on how far south in Dekalb you are, you should check out this place if you can. It is in Decatur.

They have Tropicalia on right now, but that could definitely change. That place is commonly voted one of the top 5 beer bars in the world. Wren would tell you to get the ABT 12. It is not a bad choice if you like Belgians and realize how high that thing is in ABV. You might like the Prairie Ale too.

I checked the #AA spreadsheet to see what game I would play next and noticed that Simmias already finished a game.  So even though I am not done with Strider yet I filled it in green anyway.  You know, just so Simmias wasnt lonely.

I've been meaning to ask this. Gator, is there a beer you recommend as a starter for non-beer drinkers? I've only had crappy brand stuff like Bud Light, Budweiser, Corona, etc. Any other stuff was okay. I feel like I'd never find a beer to like since I'm all about flavorful, fruity stuff and beer tastes gross to me. I may be a lost case.
There is a beer out there for everyone, it just takes work to find them. Do you drink any other basic mixed drinks or wines? If so what kinds? It would help me try to narrow down what to suggest. Also, you are in Arizona right?

It was fun being a kid collecting baseball cards. The days of cycling through Score cards when you realized you could just see through the back of the pack and see all the cards inside before you bought them. Good old days. :)

It was pokemon cards for my generation...

Although I was gifted a rather large baseball card set...

Awesome, thanks. That place is actually not too far off of being halfway between where I'm staying in Norcross (going to watch the Atlanta Silverbacks v. Indy Eleven game) and my grandparents house. Hopefully I'll find some time to stop by, if not I'll mark it for next time I'm in the area.

How come your going to the silverbacks game, are you a soccer fan?

I'm going to the Indy game :p, but yes.

Bunch of Indy Eleven fans are going to Atlanta to watch the game, it's our season opener. Dual purpose for me though, I get to go to the game, and I've got a bunch of family in the area so I get to check in on them as well.

Type-0 HD somehow got much more fun while playing Ch. 2. I also apparently need to get my eyes checked because I complained about the game not having a Pause function but then noticed the big "Pause" option when you hit the Options button.

BJS whole sale club has the Golds for $79.99. Also Disney infinity super marvel starter packs for $59.99 Xbox 360/one and PS3/PS4. No idea if that is a good deal or not though.

Also PS4 for $374.99.

Valley of the yetis for Far Cry 4 wasnt too bad. I think that night defense shit would have been pretty fun as an extra game mode with 4 player coop or something.

Just did a couple missions in Helldivers on Vita while on Starbucks wifi. Worked surprisingly well. 2nd mission eventually ended up with 4 people. The game is still fun for me, but I'm not as far along as the rest of you.

also it is pretty annoying that the trophies I earn on my ps tv all are missing timestamps. I set the date/time everytime I plug it in, so it just isn't putting a timestamp cuz I don't have wifi? ugh

pity bump

I'm glad you're still having fun. I hope they have something new planned after the war ends or that will be the end of it for me (probably).

EDIT: Oh shit, looks like we are about to win the war.

Maybe switch to cider?

Most of the "fruity" beers I've had tasted really weird. Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss was the most tolerable one I've had.

I've been level 25 in Helldivers with all weapons/stratagems fully upgraded for about a week. Still having fun with it just helping friends with missions. Starving for the new content they promised though.

Leinenkugel is from the right state for fruit based beers, but it is the wrong brewery. Unfortunately, New Glarus seems to be almost the only brewer in the US that knows what they are doing with fruit unless you get into the fruited sour beers.

Actually we like beers that most beer snobs consider too fruity as it is. I like some of Leinewhatevers beers. They make a good belgian style beer I think? Or its similar to Blue Moon at least.

Finally got that Menz in the Hood trophy for hardline. PS4 saved a nice screenshot of me getting a double kill with the double barrel to finish it off. Just gonna haul ass through the story to get the plat.

Am I going crazy or did the evolved update for Geometry wars 3 change pacifism mode?  The exploding gate things seem to move around more now.  I mean, this was the level I was playing for hours and hours and not getting the 21m score for last week.  I just got 97m and #67 on the leaderboards without too much trouble just now.

Do we have to do anything to get that Gold trophy?
Well I played a single mission just to play it safe.

I only ever tried their Berryweiss so I wouldn't know. That was the only beer my old roommate kept stocked in the fridge.

Oh wait I thought you meant the level 29 mission in adventure mode.
