Downloading Dishonnered now. Might also reinstall Killzone Mercs and try to get in on some of the mp trophies. Probably not till next week though if anyone is still playing it by then.

I already played through the campaign like 2 years ago but gonna dl for some mp stuff and a few side trophies prolly

 
So if anyone was going to buy Bastion now in hopes to play on Vita sometime soon, I am not sure I would do that.  I noticed a blog comment response from the dev that Bastion is written in C#.  I'll give you a guess what Mercenary Kings was written in.  Every time I have looked into why Mercenary Kings is still not out on Vita it always points back to their not being a working solution for running C# code on the Vita.  I have seen other developers who mentioned the same issue in terms of porting to Vita.

It is by all accounts a wonderful game, but hopefully you are ok with playing it on the PS4 if you are planning to buy it now.

I would be down for this in a week or two but too busy with GTA 5 and Lego Movie (At work only). If you haven't done them already that is. If not no big deal.

 
My PC paperwork arrived at its destination today. I ask them approximately how long it'll take for processing and delivery and they said at least a few weeks. Apparently they ran a few contests over the past couple months (PAX East, SXSW, etc.) and want to get everyone's paperwork in and ship out all the PCs at once. All those other winners better turn that shit in ASAP!
 
If anyone else is as bored as me, feel free to jump in the party I just created.  If anyone wants to try out LBP3 I could Shareplay that too.  Since the review code I have for a game that released today is not working yet, I do not really want to get started on anything else.

I'll jump in to some mercs mp too sometime, it's pretty fun. I've only played with non randoms once but I assume you can setup private matches or something. Some of the trophies were a pain to get legit if I remember right - there's a kill streak one and some awkward ass tranq recovery one or something?

It's not gonna win any awards for beauty or gameplay, but I've found it strangely addicting.

EDIT:
Of course not two minutes after typing that, the game fucking locks up my PS3 right when I found the perfect spot to mine the 350 kills in a level trophy...

My only complaint with the order so far is the amount of quick time events. Outside of that its a solid game. Really pretty, the seamless cutscene transitions are cool, and the gunplay isn't bad. I'm partway through chapter five right now, could be farther but I had to take a break to do taxes. Game got way too much flack at launch. Hopefully I'll finish up tomorrow or Thursday. Wish there were more werewolf dudes though, definitely not enough werewolves.

fuck these Arkham Origins trophies.  Constant autosave so you can't go back and retry a handful of them, three completions for platinum, then I do the Deathstroke fight and hit all the counters and don't get the trophy for it.

So apparently you can get the MKX season pass for $10 at Target if you buy the game during release week. Man, if I can get Best Buy to match that it will be sweet.
 
Well my rage quit worked out.  It put me back at the start of the Deathstroke fight and after another couple dozen tries I managed to do it again... and the trophy didn't pop and the entire game bugged out.  Fortunately I managed to to do it again after only another half dozen tried or so and got the trophy that time.

God damn expendables.  Played through hardcore with Derek but didnt get the trophy.  Probably because we were doing it kind of piece meal and I had jumped in with him after chapter 1.  Started and finished chapter 1 last night and still didnt get it.  fuck ing piece of shit.  Gotta grind melee kills anyway but it is hard to beat the chapters without using guns.

 
I thought about just stopping with what I have on expendables. Rather than spending 3 times the amount of time it took to beat the game just to get one trophy. Not even a platinum either.

yeah thats probably the sane thing to do. I might be too far invested now I need to finish it. At least to get the hardcore trophy. I might say fuck it to the 2000 melee kills.

I'm just trying to better manage my time/backlog. expendables is alright for a 3-4 hour run through, but needed another 10+ for a trophy is a little much. A 1-2 hour cleanup I'd be down for. I could put that 10+ hours into another game, and maybe slow down the backlog monster. doesn't help that it's glitchy, and a 1.5/5 at best.

Yeah I think I'm going to consider it done for me. I don't like the game so the extra 10+ hours is not worth it. We should move on to one of the other more fun co-op games.
