I'm definitely ok with snk porting games natively to ps4/vita, but it'd be nice if they did something to them to make them worth spending money on - cleaned up the graphics, online coop play, something? maybe it's there, but I'd expect them to be shouting and flailing their arms if they did anything but a straight port.

they're also 'polling' (in the comments?) for future port wants. I like the old neogeo catalog, but it's the kind of thing where just a little bit of cleanup / feature adds would go a long long ways for me.

I know you probably mean the NeoGeo one, but that was my NES jam. Would make my own team and name everyone after characters from DuckTales, then play that lady team over and over again because they paid out the most money in defeat. Upgrade your peeps, rinse, repeat. Jam.

Na dude I didnt have a Neo Geo. That shit was expensive. Some kid in the neighborhood did have one though and we played a lot of Bonk on it.

I played Baseball Stars on NES too. It is probably still my favorite baseball game, although Bases Loaded is right up there. I did not enjoy baseball games from the 16 bit era on as they went towards more realism.

I also played a game called Base Wars on NES. You played as robots. I think you could blow up the other players too... It was fuck ing awesome!

I did enjoy me some Base Wars & Little League Baseball as well. I remember playing a lot of RBI on my friends NES before I had one, but it hasn't held up well. I used to play HardBall on my old C64 with my brothers. I never got into Based Loaded though. Though I do remember trying to start fights by beaning batter after batter.

I also played a lot of the first (I think?) Ken Griffey Jr. SNES game (Winning Run I think it was called). It looked purty and played pretty good too.

Oh yeah, we did enjoy SNES Griffey at a friends house. I didnt have an SNES long though as I jumped from NES to Genesis first. Cause Nintendon't ya know.

It's a total first world problem, but I wish tracking numbers worked better.  I ordered like 8 things this BF, and at least 3 of them have been super weird and wonky in their tracking.

I know they'll all get delivered, but it's weird to see an item that is "Out for Delivery" according to Amazon and "in Pennsylvania" according to USPS.

That stuff always seems to start breaking down every December (even for the private carriers) when so many things are being sent all over the US. The USPS tracking goes from mediocre at best during the normal year to a roll of the dice this time of year.

 
Any of you weird Japanese game playing guys get in on the Class of Heroes 2 physical release? I got mine today and totally forgot I ordered it. And they put numbered stickers on the plastic, which ensures I'll probably never open the damn thing.

White people don't understand that non-white people get harassed by cops all the time. I'm sure it gets super fucking annoying and aggravating.

It's like being bullied and saying "don't fuck with bullies, don't get hurt". But of course you're going to eventually snap when someone keeps bullying and bullying you.

I hate huge generalizations on the subject of race that go both ways. Things like this should be evaluated on a case by case basis. But if you think that every Mexican and black guy that has ever been pulled over or questioned by police brought it on themselves, then you are motherfucking delusional.

Yupp, anything being sent USPS is a shit show any way... especially this time of the year! I hate that BB uses the damn UPS innovations thing where they ship it part way, then transfer it to USPS... always see like a 2-3 day delay just for the switch
