Burnout is still awesome this week.
Edit - looking at psnp I haven't managed to get the trophy from the very first objective yet (repair your car) but I've probably played for 5 or 6 hours. I apparently haven't played offline at all yet.
let me know if u ever need help getting something. I'll play it anytime.

I think I'm almost set on the online trophies, but if a group gets together again I'll definitely try to make it. One of the best online party game setups I've ever seen. I played with randoms this morning and it was still super fun.

Any of you guys watch Agents of Shield? Last night's episode was pretty big. The show has improved tremendously.
I really need to start watching it again (stopped 5-6 episodes into S1), probably from the first post-Winter Soldier episode in S1.

So I'm done throwing up I think. Now I'm super warm and the wife says I have a fever. What do you guys recommend I take to make myself feel better? I don't get sick a lot, so I'm not very hip to the medicines you kids use.

Haven't watched it yet (watched The Flash last night instead) but I'm looking forward to it. I'm liking this season so far.

Nothing better for a fever than good ol' Advil.

I only have eyes for The Flash. Currently the best superhero show on TV.
Shield is not what I'd call a superhero show, since it focuses on a team of agents with no special abilities. It's also a pretty good show, you should check it out.

I think the first season is on Netflix now. I feel like it got better before The Winter Soldier tie in, that just sort of kicked up the urgency for the rest of the season, I guess. Might as well watch the whole season, I say. I've already said it too many times before, but I feel like the rocky start in Shield is waay better than the rocky start in Arrow (which I've made 15 episodes into I think, but now that I am hearing season 3 is lame I am not very compelled to stick with it).

I'm approaching 1000 Silver trophies and I would normally want to consider which game to get the 1000th from, but since I'm playing two amazing games--Dead Space and Danganronpa 2--I'll be satisfied as long as it's from either of those.

Tylenol is generally considered the best due to it being made with acetaminophen. Advil works better for some apparently. The main ingredient is ibuprofen. Both work well, if one is known to bother your stomach, then just use the other.

Agreed. I just can't help but be impressed with how freaking perfectly Marvel is pulling off this massive continuity. It's really cool following Shield and seeing how things being introduced in recent movies (some big ties to GotG recently) start playing into the series. It's starting to look like that will be a two way street in the future (with stuff happening in the series affecting the future movies, although not in a massive way since I'm sure they don't want to make it required viewing).

I started catching up last night. I still have quite a few episodes to go. It had gotten a bit off the rails for me, but it seems to be trying to get back on track again with the last couple of episodes I watched.

I'm behind on all the movies. I need to catch up and see for myself how everything is tied together.

I want to watch Agents of Shield but it all seems so overwhelming. Watch 23 episodes of a show, then go see the fancy movies the week they come out song don't miss something. And like backlog, I'm way behind on the movies. Still haven't seen either Captain America one. I think the idea of it all tying together is cool and awesome, but daddy don't got the moneytime for it all.

It won't hurt your enjoyment of the show at all.

Speaking of TV, this chick sitting beside me at work just asked a co-worker to spoil the Sons of Anarchy finale. I was like no, don't do that. I want to watch it eventually. According to her, spoilers shouldn't bother you at all and she actually asks for them. What the heck is wrong with people?

The wife does this. She goes to spoiler sites to read about movies and tv shows instead of watching them. She loves reading more than watching things though. fuck that.

We used to go see a ton of movies then she found that spoiler site. ugh.

I watch the show, and I have yet to watch either Captain America movie (actually I fell asleep trying to watch the first one) or either Thor movie. I have not seen the most recent Avengers movie either.

But look at all the money you're saving!

Captain America: Winter Soldier is so much better than the first Captain America, it's almost ridiculous (Therm will no doubt argue the opposite). I also thought Thor: The Dark World improved upon the first Thor.

And there's only been one Avengers movie, FYI--Age of Ultron releases 5/1 next year.

Ok cool. Maybe I'll start that back up again this weekend or something while I Vita. I think I made it 4 episodes in before I stopped watching. I liked it, but life took over and episodes got deleted from the ol' TiVo.

I'd also like to publicly complain about the "don't do a counter move this entire level" trophy in Deadpool.  Fought the end level boss probably 25 times using a non-countering method, and when I finally beat his bulky ass & finished the level, no pop.  Either I accidentally hit the counter earlier and didn't realize it or the game is a dirty dirty.  Probably the later because my fat fingers would never slip.

Hopefully it's not to hard to do it on my hard playthrough later.

That is funny. I had just heard so much about the 2nd one I had assumed it was already out. It tells you how closely I follow it.

That trophy sucked. I remember also no-counter-finishing the level without getting it to pop, so I played the entire level again in a single run and finally got it.

anyone want to boost a couple the easy online trophies in Injustice?  Says it's easy for all of them except the ranked ones due to the match making in ranked being random... otherwise the other ones should be good, and the TT score is only going to go up with it going free on PS Plus, not to mention a bunch of you seem to be playing it.

The second movies for Thor and Capt were definitely better than the first ones. The first Capt movie is my least favorite phase one movie, even behind the most recent Hulk movie. Most of it was pretty boring but it did tie into the avengers pretty well.

If you don't find anyone I can do it tonight

^This. That trophy was a PITA. It was my last one before plat. Word of advice, do not even attempt trying to do it on hard. Hard difficulty on the final level is cheap as all hell in that game. You need everything at your disposal. You can tell by my trophy timestamps I went back and level selected to play that level again to get it.

If you press Circle at all for any reason during the entire level, it will invalidate it. It is not just for counter moves. I want to say I used circle once to open one of those chests and it invalidated it. It is that picky.

ranked is pretty dead, you'll probably not have too much trouble finding your boosting buddy. Although this morning I beat someone legit while just doing superman laser eyes over and over so you're bound to run in to some scrubs too if you want to just do it for real.

Agreed. Rewatching snippets of the first Capt. America after watching Winter Soldier resulted in me appreciating the first more, though it still pales compared to other Marvel films.

At the times you play, everything is dead.
