Graphics, setting, etc. is fine, but Crysis just isn't that fun to play for long stretches.

The first third of the game is a lot of jungle for enemies to hide in, so you spend much of the time inching along while cloaked, prone, decloak to recharge, recloak and then move forward. In retrospect I probably should have just sprinted until I could see where the enemies were, then restart at the last checkpoint and sprint until just before where the enemies are located, but that breaks immersion so much. The game would have been a lot more fun if cloak burned through energy 1/2 as fast while moving.

This reminds me of CoD: Ghosts where I crawled through the entire jungle map not realizing CoD stealth is a joke. Turns out you can pretty much run through the entire map. :wall:

Yeah, but part of that is self inflicted. Games like Entwined and Surgeon Simulator I knew I probably wouldn't like but I wanted to check them out anyway. Knack I should of educated myself more on what it was.

I was actually disappointed with Titan Attacks! I was hoping it would be more fun then it was.

Age of Zombies was OK, just kind of simple.

Far Cry 4 is the last game I picked up that I actually really liked. That was still less than a month ago. I was also very pleasantly surprised by a game called 01 - Jump! too.

One of the best parts of trophies is that I don't have to remember that I played all that. I can just go to PSN Profiles and it keeps track of it for me all right there!

Yep, though that doesn't work when you go back to the vault and play a earlier games which didn't patch in trophies. I played several back to back this year so It looks like on PSNprofiles that I didn't play any games for 2.5 months.

Wasn't all the warnings from all of us enough to know that before you got to it though? Until I started using the bear traps on Mr Sinister clones I never came close to finishing.

Yeah but i thought that was on hard mode. I'm only on normal. Finally made it through the waves of clones after about 42 times, and am now fighting Sinister. Thanks for the bear trap tip!
 
Tyler and George, I am watching a repeat of the fights that I recorded.  I am not exactly sure how the judges gave the fight to Penne over Markos.  It seemed like Markos got more strong shots in.  I guess I could see the 29-28 score, but I have no idea how one judge had it 30-27 for Penne.  I still think the 2 of them are the most complete fighters along with the winner.  The runner up is definitely good, but she seems to be reliant on submissions.  Joanna is probably up there with those 4 too.  There seems to be a drop off after those though.

I didn't pay enough attention to any of the fights to be able and say how I thought the decisions should go. I like that Markos chick though.

There is another set of fights tonight and the prelims start in an hour? They really are having a lot more events ever since the deal with Fox.

I started getting sick on Monday. My daughter had to stay home Monday-Wednesday with strep so I got about 4 hours of sleep a day and had no chance of going to the doctor. By the time Thursday rolled around my fever hit 102 but I was so exhausted I passed out all day. No joke, since then I've been sleeping a good 17 hours a day. Managed to make it to the icc yesterday and get some meds before going back home and passing out.

Any of you ever have experience with crazy ass dreams when you have a fever? My dreams are normally really fucked up anyway, but when I have a fever they're totally whacked. So for 34 hours over the last two days, I've had a recurring dream of being in a fallout vault. Only problem is it's a loop and I just keep going around in circles through the same doors over and over again. To make things interesting, I had congestion so bad that my head felt like it was going to pop right off my shoulders and every time I would sniff real hard there would be an explosion in my dream that would wake me up for a few seconds before falling back asleep to do it all over again.

fuck you New Vegas!

I platted FO3 on my old account and hardly had any problems. The only thing that sticks out to me is I got stuck in some rocks. I might have had 2 or 3 freezes but nothing on the level of what I've gone through with NV. It was for the vanilla version though; I went through the dlc on 360.

I'll probably take a break after I get the plat before going after the dlc, which is ironic since playing the dlc was the whole point of starting the game up. But I set out to leave no stone unturned and after getting around 95% through it, I can safely say with all confidence that FO3 is far superior in just about every category (minus dlc, obviously).
 
Was it one of you guys that has my address that sent me that Shark and My Little Pony book?  Amazon said it was a gift but can't look up who it was from since there was no packing slip or anything. I checked with my wacky cousin who would do something like this but he said no, it wasn't him.  I seriously have no idea who would send me something like that.

Last night I noticed that you were playing Angry Birds Star Wars and I had a bit of a Nelson Muntz ha-ha moment. Then I remembered that I own that too and the Simpsons ref came full circle, as I had to sadly ha-ha myself as well, lol.

Haha. Yeah I figured for $4 why the hell not. Kid is excited to play it on a big screen instead of the crappy old Android he has now. Thought I'd try it out to see how the controls were.

My boy also loves Angry Birds Star Wars and will be opening it up on Christmas since I found it on the cheap. Ridiculous what they asked you to pay for it when it released considering that you could play it for free on your phone.

Also funny that those two ittems total just over $35 on Amazon. So it was someone who doesn't have Prime and must have really put some thought into it for some reason.

PeteNotPete, Pancakes, and Therm would be the only candidates I could think of.  I don't think my home address is just widely available online.  I'm not sure how gifting works on Amazon if anyone can just send me anything or what.

I still think it was just the wrong label printed out and put on the box.

Thanks. On a scale of 1-10 I was around an 8, but a day of meds has already improved me to around a 6.

As for the dreams, I guess I'll find out soon enough.

What's really depressing is I missed the uk-unc game today. I had been looking forward to that all week and was too miserable to think about setting the dvr.

Vig, the jury is still out on whether or not lines carry over. It seems a lot of people think they do, but the people who did extensive research say they don't. I can link a guide or two to help if you would like. 

I grinded out some lines last night until I got it by taking the 2 characters I didn't play with much by going to the secret laboratory floor 6 and 7. There is a chest right at the end of 6 where you can grind items while you do this. Then I let my characters get really low on health because they each get a line or two from Risette outside of battle when they are low on health. Other than that, just let them get as many status ailments (including agility, etc down) and scan over and over because when you get out of scanning she has a chance to comment on every ailment for every character.
