I went to the first page to see the list of people who posted in the original thread for more ideas on who to have in Tyler's post.  I got distracted by the new gifs and lost all interest in the list of names.

Guthries shut down in Gainesville years ago lol. Rumor was they had rats, not sure if that's true. But yeah they (proudly) deep fried everything in lard...and it was glorious.

And curious, why get upset when I make a joke about the panhandle seceding to Alabama but continually refer to Tally as "crappy"? Not a big deal...just sort of odd.

I've been liking Freedom Cry (bought it last time it went on sale) but having not played AC IV yet, some of the new mechanics (like ship combat) are a bit of a struggle for me There's also none of the "new weapon? here's your tutorial mission for it." type of stuff either.

Rogue also didn't have weapon tutorials outside of the newer elements (ship stuff and the rope gun, IIRC.) Even those were just on-screen prompts when you were supposed to use them in the game. It was a change that I liked, honestly.

Road Not Taken has a new update out that gives the game an easy mode. Which would be nice cuz the difficulty level ramped up really quick. Way before you have figured out what the fuck you are doing.

Also they have an update on the Vita version, which is basically that people need to forget about the Vita version.

I wish I had better news for you. Our porting solution has failed on the Vita, and failed hard. We have to find a completely new solution for bringing the game over. There are no obvious good solutions available to us right now. The major issue are the memory constraints of the Vita relative to the PS4. Our porting solution is consuming way too much memory.

McDonald's Fish Filet sandwich is heavily dependent on if you get lucky and get a fresh one. Your best bet is when they are super busy. If they've been sitting around they are terrible, but if they are fresh they aren't bad, really. Probably the best thing at McDonalds when they are right.

And of course being Capcom they are being sold individually instead of as a compilation for I assume full price.

I figure it is more worth it to make remasters as you only have to do it once instead of twice now since the system's architectures are much more similar this gen as compared to the PS3 and X360 gen.

I played AC4 last year it was one of my first 4 PS4 games so I was already used to the controls. I haven't tried Freedom Cry yet though. Probably next week sometime. Looking forward to it.

Because the panhandle is a lot more than just that one awful city. I specifically hate Tallahassee because it has all the negatives of a larger town without any of the positives.

FSU being there does not help, but I hated the city even when I was younger and I kind of assumed I was going to go to FSU.

When you go over a year w/o playing any AC games it's nice to have some refreshers. (I remember how to move, sneak and all the simple stuff....but remembering how to bring up ranged attacks )

The only problem is that I wouldn't be able to visit the store until tomorrow at the earliest and if they have any available, I would ask them to hold one (I doubt they could hold it for longer than through the end of the business day). Therefore, I'll probably call tomorrow.

I've never had an interest in a fancy headset, but after hearing you guys yammer on about it for a month I'd be willing to take the plunge for $30.

Cainiac, are you around and do you have any interest in these? I'm not sure if I can make it to our Sears in the next day or two but if you do I'll totally pay you back if you score an extra. I can do the same for you if I get out there.
