My review outlines exactly why it got the scores it got. #LearnToRead

As far as 40pt system, I consider it a 10 point system, with sub-rankings for individual parts of the game. Like I consider what I scored the three sub-categories, then figure out the overall score from there. Sometimes it's the average of the three, sometimes I add or subtract some points because of general feel or whatever. Any number ranking system is not going to be perfect.

 
Since you keep bringing it up, I never told my wife I hired a lawyer.  I should have been more specific earlier.  Literally no one but my mom and I know.  She only knows since I couldnt possibly pay for the retainer myself.

So I guess I did good, I got a face to face interview tomorrow where as long as I do good I will find out if I got the job and then boom just a background and drug check.

What is so weird to me, is why Flyhunter: Origins, it make it sound like a prequel or something, but it's just an adaption of the existing mobile game which is also called origins right? Were they afraid people would misread "hunter" as "fishing" and think it was a fly fishing game?

So I wonder if instead of reframing they just chopped off a portion of the screen to letterbox it as it is strange for the camera to follow you up as you jump instead of staying locked to the ground. Not being able to see where you are jumping after you jump sounds pretty annoying.

They are actually based here in Maryland, right near me in Towson. They are actually supposed to be pretty well regarded.

They advertise in MD as if they are based here. I just checked out the website and it is the same company, but you are right, the founder is licensed in MO and IL. I guess that is their shtick to try and seem local. I hear their ads at least once a day on the way to work and I only live like 5 miles from my office.

Haha...yeah I wondering the same thing with the Origins. Maybe it's because he starts off as a janitor and then is full fledged flyhunter by the end, so it's his origin story in a set of planned sequels? Or maybe they're just ripping off Rayman? Who knows.

And yeah that jumping camera was very annoying. I can kinda see why they would since there are platforms and eggs and enemies above where you are, but I think most platformers either zoom out to show the whole screen or know where you are going (when you can't land anywhere above the platform) and keep the camera where it's at.

The country's top five theater circuits have decided not to play Sony's The Interview: Regal Entertainment, AMC Entertainment, Cinemark, Carmike Cinemas and Cineplex Entertainment have all decided against showing the film.

Guess the attacks on Sony got everyone shook. Bizarre move IMO. I wasn't even interested in seeing it (doesn't look that funny) but now I want to. Apparently there's a Kim-Jung-un death scene. <---spoiler

So is that $35/mo. movie pass an annualized thing (~$420 upfront) or month to month? Because there's a serious lull during Spring. That'd be a decent deal over the summer months, though. Maybe even Nov.-Dec. Otherwise mehh.

The movie looks dumb, but This is the End was good enough to justify giving The Interview a try. Plus there's this:

I do need to give Masters of Sex a try. Has anybody watched that? Lizzy Caplan definitely does it for me and Michael Sheen is generally great.

Haven't seen Masters but I want to. Have you seen Party Down? Funny show. She's great in that, too. Yeahhh...I like her. Don't know what it is. Maybe the eyes.
