I do need to give Masters of Sex a try. Has anybody watched that? Lizzy Caplan definitely does it for me and Michael Sheen is generally great.
I liked the first season, the main story is interesting and well acted and even the side stories (one in particular) are pretty good. The characters are flawed, but sympathetic. LOTS of character development. Don't have showtime anymore so I have to wait till the 2nd season comes out on netflix disc to rent it, but I've heard it is good as well. They are a little in your face with the nudity in the first episode but that's usually a symptom of "first time doing a show on premium cable" syndrome where showrunners go a little crazy with the extra freedom until the novelty wears off after an episode or two.

Wow. Literally minutes after I posted that Sony cancels The Interview theatrical release. Goddamn.

http://www.theverge.com/2014/12/17/7412393/sony-cancels-the-interview-release-after-theaters-pull-out
Damn, is that for real? I'm conflicted on this. It really pisses me off that someone's free expression has to be hindered because of the psychotic fuck who leads North Korea. On the other hand, it's not really worth risking anyone's safety over a James Franco/Seth Rogen comedy.

It was a stupid concept for a (probably) stupid movie that never should have been greenlit. Sony is going to take a bath on this one. Cancelling a theatrical release is at least a $50 million in lost revenue.
I can see the cancellation pushing it into cult movie status with "secret underground" showings. Sony probably won't see any of that money, though, unless they charge insanely high rates for the print to these little guys.

Eh, they say "audience safety" but what they really mean is "so they don't hack our asses too." Hacking crosses borders at the speed of light, I highly doubt North Korea is going to go all Red Dawn on us and send in paratroopers to attack theaters in the US.

You don't remember when that happened when Team America World Police came out?

I was thinking about Team America as well.  Funny movie by the way.  But I guess times have changed even since then.  Plus it appears Un is even crazier than iL was.

Nope. I like Adam Scott and Ken Marino as well, so I might have to check that out.
Yes, it's pretty good, the second season a little less so since Jane Lynch left the show to do Glee and the sub in character played by Megan Mullally didn't really fit in quite right with the ensemble. Every time I see the show "Party Down South" on the channel guide I think for a split second the show is back and set in Mexico, and then crushing disappointment sets in.

Seriously though, very nicely done! I am totally envious! I was just thinking after watching a BaerTaffy/Bisnap vid that I should aim for a million+ high score and now you've given me even more motivation. :D

How come you don't have "Seen it All" in Spelunky Soph?
I'd like to 100% it back to back with Spelunker HD for...reasons. Fond memories of the old old old PSN thread's schtick of mixing the two games up maybe?

THis is the one I use, and it has worked great for me for the last 2 years.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00B46XUQU/ref=olp_page_2?ie=UTF8&condition=new&startIndex=10

Cheapest one shipping from the US is like $7. Cheapest with Amazon fulfillment is like $8.50. I don't like ordering stuff like this from across seas.

I don't know if the one you posted is, but this one isn't a splitter or anything, just a HDMI Switch. It doesn't strip of HDCP stuff or whatever that shit is.
I just ordered this one as well. Did you have to use an external power supply with it? I am sure I have something that would work if need be. Hopefully this does the trick for me.

I just watched Sunday's episode of Homeland.  I did not see that ending coming.  Why didn't I wait until I could watch the season finale right after like I mentioned earlier?

What the hell is a JonathanMcintosh?
Gamers are the worst.

Nobody cares, GamerGater. Please, stop assaulting me with a newspaper...?

Games are not as sexist as people think?! Oh, my gosh!

"Gosh." - me, in regards to all of 2014, and all of the garbage/vitriol/harassment I have received, and that has happened.

So Chicago is benching Cutler for Jimmy Clausen (I didn't even know he was still in the league) and Harbaugh is "considering" going to Michigan for over 8 million a year.

Surprised by both of those stories.  If not for the money, I would think the Harbaugh stuff was a load of crap.

Is the Sony Silver Headset much worse than the Golds? It's $34.99 from Amazon as a Lightning Deal right now, and if the main difference is that it's wired, I might not mind it...

At least based on the tech specs they publish, it seems that it is essentially the same but wired.

Interview is cancelled. No plans for vod or dvd release. wooow
LOL, it is going to suck anyway. seth rogen is a horrible actor. i am not sure if you can call what he does acting. the movie should just go straight for dvd /blu ray release. it is basically pineapple express in north korea . i am not sure why james franco choose these shitty movie roles, because he can actually somewhat act

Screw Zimm and his 40% off boots cartwheel deal! I went to Target and they had no boots for boys at all! I thought maybe I was in the wrong section so I asked a worker where the boots were and she laughed!

I did pick up some Gogurt for 20% off, but I think Target screwed me because the sign said 2 for $4 and I should have gotten that too, but instead all I got was the 20% off. I didn't notice this until afterward. Lame!

i thought you don't play much multiplayer games, why do you need a headset for ps4?
Because he has played with some of us in the past and there are some games where I think he wants to play with us again. He does not want to be the guy without the mic after seeing how much it helped when we played before.

Pineapple Express was okay, but I thought This is the End was fucking hilarious. I was expecting The Interview to be somewhere between. I'm sure it will be released in some form in the future. I'll check it out when it does.

Actually not a terrible idea to deny that they're going to release it and try and stir up some excitement for it or something.  People usually want things they can't have.  Or maybe do a 1-month only digital release partnership with Amazon or something.  I mean, at least use it as a market test or something.

Say you're not going to release it, then in a month say you're not going to back down anymore. Suddenly that movie no one wanted to see makes a billion dollars because people think there's something special about it and they just HAVE to see it.

This is the same concept as the Heath Ledger Effect.
