You know what, RE6 is actually kinda good. The combat in it is better than Evil, just the bullet sponge enemies suck but other than that, RE6 is a good action shooter.

 
started setting up the new wii u for my wife, and can't link my id to it cause i linked my id on the old system. seriously? googling around seems to lead to the same conclusion, call customer service. insane, especially for a company that makes so many different rehashes/bundles.

guess i'm just spoiled with how easy other companies are. i had a problem activating my vita slim cause i had 4 psps activated on my account, but one click deactivated them all. only had to reactivate my other vita and my ps3 again.

Glad I checked the front page before bed. Grabbed Infinity 2.0 from Wal-Mart for a cool $2.79 out of pocket after the gift cards I mentioned earlier. Just in time for Christmas too.
 
Knocked out Infamous 2 Good. Gotta say I'm glad they kept Zeke a focal part of the story. Not sure if some of the other stuff worked as well as the first game. Alden and Kessler were lot more interesting than Bertrand and the Beast. All the mechanics in 2 were definitely better, though.

 
K beat Strider and got all the collectibles (I was a little worried about the canister one since there isn't a tracker but it popped no problem in the final area).

Simmias and/or anyone else, how tough is the 4 hour speed run?  Actually seems like it should be super simple.  

 
Telltale teasing a special game and Quantic Dream has a game to announce in january. Beyond 2 Souls Remaster prolly, telltale game could be Dragon Age or something

 
It is. Just pause and check a map every so often to make sure you're going where you need to go. Skip over enemies that you don't have to fight and you'll be fine.

It was really easy. I ignored most of the enemies and upgrades, and I was able to beat it well under 4 hours.

Yeah big deals like one-day boots offers get picked pretty clean pretty early. Good for me since I walk by a store on my way into the office. Bad for everyone else that works during the day.

I think you are doing something wrong. I've never had trouble sprinting with L3 in that game or any others.

Yeah I like it. Its a serviceable FPS. I like the "story" as well. Its just deranged enough to not be taken seriously and still be fun. I am actually a little surprised by some of the graphics too. I thought it would look worse than it does. The character models certainly are last gen but the effects and lighting are good.

Many adult Christmas movies are just set during Christmas. It's A Wonderful Life, Scrooged, and The Ref are good examples. Home Alone isn't about Christmas either. And I'm aware that Die Hard is only peripherally a Christmas movie--the only parts of Christmas I'm into are the vacation and presents, so the movies that are least about it but still connected are the ones that are most appealing to me.

So here's my schedule from now until February

Monday: 9.5 hours
Tuesday - Thursday: 10.5 hours
Friday: 9.5 hours
Saturday: 3 hours

I'm already cranky about it, so the end of January should be a good time. But I'll send screenshots of my pay statement so that you brothers can totally admire me.

That really blows. I work anywhere from 50-52 hours a week as my regular schedule. I don't like to complain since I need the extra money from the overtime, but I just get so tired of getting up so early and being at work so long.

...Wait, you took the Instant Credit option? Then I'm not sure. I do not recommend choosing that unless you're 100% sure the items will be accepted, and even then, there's an element of risk. I've read several reports of people getting burned by going with Instant Credit, but those were mostly for high-value/moderate-risk flips, so you might not have any trouble.

I'll usually do it if it's a brand new item I'm trading in. I mainly did it this time just in case there were some last minute Christmas items I needed to get.

Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've never had a trade-in value downgraded with Amazon.

I'm considered late after 7AM, but usually have to be here by 6:30 to get things ready for the rest of the workers to arrive. That requires me to be up by 5:30 to get ready and make the drive. Everyone was like "oh, you'll get used to it." No, you never do.
