I really liked Nexus a lot. I think its my favorite of the series. What say you?
I really like it, going through challenge mode now. I think I still have to say A Crack in Time is my favorite though. If I had to choose one game to convince a non-gamer that games are awesome, A Crack in Time might very well be my choice.

You weren't asking me, but I think Going Commando was the best R&C--I played that at least 10 times with New Game+ on PS2 to get everything, while I played the subsequent entries maybe 2-3 times before stopping.

Going commando and up Your Arsenal are my favorites, but really all of them except All 4 One, Deadlocked and Full Frontal Assault are great.
I think I agree with this the most. Nexus was the last I played so I probably forget how much fun I had with the others.

Also, I like pretty things and Nexus is clearly the prettiest.

I actually think Tools of Destruction has the best graphics with a Crack in Time next. I feel like they changed the style up after those 2. I don't think Tools gets enough credit for how pretty it is, it looks like a pixar movie as a game.

So the consensus is don't play R&C All 4 One? I got it when I purchased my PS3 (bundled) and have yet to play any in the series. I do have the HD collection too.

It's not a bad game itself, it's just not a good example of what makes Ratchet and Clank fun. Fun can be had in co-op.

Any of these other Ratchet and Clank games worth ditching / ignoring? And yeah, I know how terrific All 4 One is. I already started it unfortunately, but it might burn in low completion percentage hell due to it being the worst game ever.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One™

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus™

Ratchet & Clank®

Ratchet & Clank® Future: Quest for Booty

Ratchet & Clank®: Going Commando

Ratchet & Clank®: Up Your Arsenal

edit - yes my fancy spreadsheet is linked to the store.
Ratchet and Clank games are generally great. I doubt you would want to do all of those in a row. If you had to prioritize and you don't care about story (they are pretty inconsequential), I'd say: Up Your Arsenal > Going Commando > Into the Nexus > Original > Quest for Booty > All 4 One.

Have you tried the main entry PS3 games (Tools of Destruction and Crack in Time)? Because both of those are great and would rank pretty high on the list.

You are probably right. I wasnt even thinking about those since he didnt have them in his list.

At the end of the day only the original R&C has any issue standing up to today because its missing strafe. Even then its nearly as fun as the others.

Am I the only one who really likes using the Ripper in Dead Space? I used it during my Impossible run on 360 years ago, and I'm using it again now on PS3; I'm surprised that no guides recommend it, as I find it incredibly useful for close-quarters crowd control.

I like Crack in time the best not only for its prettiness and excellent gameplay, but the new control scheme. I haven't played Tools of Destruction yet, but I played Quest for Booty after Into the Nexus and it was hard to go back to strafe locking with the shoulder buttons after the twin stick controls of the later two games. Into the Nexus is also good, but it's more a pure shooter and platformer with less variation since it has a smaller scope than other R&C games. Which is good if you want the R&C experience in a shorter game length.

I'm still annoyed they wouldn't let them call the game "Into the Nethers" and broke their streak of innuendo-laced titles, "Into the Nexus" makes no sense in the context of what happens in the game.

Gator - have you seen beermenus.com? I used it to find some places that sell both bottles and growlers of DirtWolf. I'm not sure how far reaching they are, and they definitely aren't comprehensive (the stores need to actively participate) but I'm going to check one of the places it lists that says it has it. About 10 miles from our house.
I have seen it. It works great for a lot of cities, but Atlanta is not one of them. It seems to be widely used in Chicago.

It can be fun in 4 player mode if it is a group of friends. However, there are much better MP games than that you could be playing, so I would just skip it.

You bastards have been chatty over the last day.  Thank goodness I am not hungover like I should be after a night of heavy drinking.  Hopefully I can say the same thing tomorrow, but I expect 2 nights in a row is going to do me in.  No way to know without trying.

I've enjoyed played All4One with my son, though some of the platforming is a little out of his skill range now.  It's not the best R&C for sure, but can be a good time w/ your kid.

If he is going to play them all, I can't agree with Up Your Arsenal first. Definitely go with the first because the later ones you can level and upgrade your guns and in my opinion it would just feel progressively worse if he went 3 21 instead of 1 2 3.

Oh and Tokyo Jungle is an amazing game too bad it never came to the vita.

Not to mention the jump strafe and stuff that you could do in later ones that I dont think worked initially. I remember struggling going back to 1 after the remakes came out do to the way it playing being so much more sophisticated later.

hey guys remember tokyo jungle? that's one seriously weird ass game.
I liked it. even if the random nature in it made some challenges damn near impossible. I got up to unlocking most of the dogs and even a wolf and then lost interest and moved on. Pretty sure its still installed and I keep promising myself I'll get back to it "one day."

I say play all the R&C games. A lot of people think Full Frontal Assault and All4One are the worst but they're still pretty enjoyable. Just don't play the vita version, it was delayed hard and even then it was just a really shitty port with a lot of problems (when I played it).  Up Your Arsenal is probably the best one followed by A Crack In Time. Plus Up Your Arsenal had that dope ass multiplayer that they brought back with the HD version, but I doubt people are still playing it now. But yeah, play them in order

New $5 GameStop coupon for the game Global Assault on your favorite app store
Thanks, perfect timing. Going to pick up a limited edition senran kagura copy they randomly got in.

Cancelled my gamefly again. I don't think I'm gonna bother with it anymore. Too hard to get new releases. It's good if you missed a lot of games that are a year or more old.

I thought this video was likely a load of shit, but it seemed a lot of other people claimed they did it and it worked.  Both of my kids tablets were having the problem and it fixed it.

Now I am wondering if the old Android tablet I had had the same issue.  I thought the charger connection was just screwed up since I had issues with it in the past.  Now I may see if I can get it to work.  At least the kid's tablets seem to be coming back to life now and I somehow managed not to crack the glass.

I was considering buying a 16GB card or two for my Vita and Playstation TV. $24.99 at GS. This will come in handy if I do.
Not sure I can get on for any extended time tonight, but I do need to beat a weekly heroic strike on my titan for the exotic bounty I got.
