Must be a Wells thing. I've never been to a bank where tellers do anything other than handle deposits/withdrawals...usually loan officers handle what you're talking about at my banks
That's just it... you don't realize they are doing it... yes loan officers handle that, but tellers are supposed to guide you to loan officers. Another reason the system sucks. As a teller you hold your sales to another person capability to do something. Tellers are not supposed to sell to everyone, but just find the opportunities and then guide them to a loan officer to go from there. You may not notice it but they are doing it at every bank, some banks aren't as bad as others. The big banks like Wells, Chase, and bank of america are the worst. Credit unions are the best as most of the time tellers don't have "goals"

Oh boy.

WATCH! Your monthly games for January 2015. Exciting.
- inFAMOUS: First Light and The Swapper for PS4, Prototype 2 [sic]
- Duck Tales Remastered on PS3
- Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition and Whoa Dave! for PS Vita.
From Sony's Facebook page. Duke Nukem 3D is nice, but Prototype 2 and Duck Tales? Really?

They don't do the actual sales, they rope in the customer and then send them off to the banker to process it and they get a "referral" if it results in someone opening an account, getting a credit card, etc.

Ill definitely be playing First Light. The Swapper did not really look that appealing when Munky streamed it, but maybe Ill give it a shot.

Prototype 2 I have the plat. I wonder if this being added is a sign there may be a Prototype 3 on its way. I tried Duck Tales Remastered and some things are just better left to memories of the past, IMO.

Is that Duke Nukem the original or that travesty they made recently? If the original I will probably play it. Never heard anything about Whoa Dave! so Ill have to look for more info.

I would shout a hearty "fuck yeah!" followed by a fist pump if we got those Vita games.
Indeed. I'm really looking forward to DN.

Might play Prototype 2 on PS3. I'll have to look at the trophy list. The first one was pretty comparable to Shadow of Mordor (similar strengths and weaknesses--probably the only standout improvement SoM has over Prototype was the Nemesis system, and Prototype had SoM beat in other areas.) Based on what I've heard about Prototype 2, though, I'm guessing SoM will be quite a bit better than that one.

Thats a good month if true.  I already played the PS3 games but the PS4 we knew about and are good and the Vita ones look okay.  at least for free.

And Prototype 2 was much more fun than the first for me.   Still no where near as good as SoM though Therm.

It's "the original" if by "the original" you mean Duke Nukem 3d. Duke 3d was the 3rd game in the series. The first two were side-scrollers.

You didnt like Ducktales at all? yeah it was simple and was frustrating at times but I liked it a lot. My daughter really loved it too. She just liked jumping in the gold with scrooge.

SoM was obviously a lot more refined that Prototype 1, but they were pretty similar games overall. Open-world with great movement systems, character upgrades that unlock with a combination of story progression and kill purchase, shitty main characters who don't know how they got where they are, and lackluster stories. Prototype had a much better stealth/alert setup (in SoM you can literally just hide behind a rock and lose aggro in no time), more distinct enemies and bosses, combat difficulty was more advanced than simply being swarmed with number, the world transforming as the virus spread was really cool, and the side missions were quite a bit more fun. SoM had the Nemesis system, better graphics, and some really good secondary characters (the orc, the dwarf, and Gollum.) Obviously it's subjective but I think they were fairly equivalent games, and that's with SoM benefiting from years of refinement in movement/combat/graphics after Prototype came out.

No, I played a few levels and I did not care for it. I was wanting it to be as fun to me as it was when I was a kid. It just did not have the same magic to me anymore. I realize that was probably unfair expectations, but oh well.

Liked for the theme song.

This thread is wonderful this morning with the fresh prince, and the giada, and the screech, and everything...everything is awesome!

Yeah, but the difference is that Prototype 1 sucked donkey balls.  SoM was actually fun.  I dont give a damn about the technical aspects at all.  Just talking about pure fun.

Didn't like the first one a whole lot, but I'll probably check out Prototype 2. And First Light, maybe the swapper.

And I liked Ducktales as well.

I actually liked Prototype 1 until I got to the Platinum movement events. I spent a lot of time before I could master those.

ETA: It was not anywhere near SoM in terms of fun though.

Eh. That's what I was referring to. I thought Prototype was more fun in a number of ways. They both had their annoyances and strong points, though.

I beat it on PC and didn't care for it much either. It reminded me that the old-school approach of having to redo a level completely when you die wasn't something I enjoyed. Checkpoints FTW.

So kind of like the original Mario Brothers? I'm not super excited by that trailer, but I will check it out.

I was so disappointed by Prototype 1 that I never gave the second one a shot (despite buying it to flip a few times at Best Buy). It was just sooo disappointing to me. Probably because I hyped it up a lot since it was from the guys who made Hulk Ultimate Destruction. They should really make a sequel to that instead.

Yeah I really liked Prototype 1. It came out too close to Infamous though I think. Prototype 2 was ok but I guess but nothing special at all.

I really liked the skydiving/floating ones. The movement system in Prototype 1 was a bit too clumsy to enjoy the "race through the rings" challenges, though. Some of them were fun and some of them were just impossibly hard. Same with the tank missions--just a ridiculous level of disparity in how difficult they were to pull off.

Are we still doing the psnot awards?  I have some new catergories I'd like to suggest:

Best psn outage: Christmas outage

Best psp fighting game free on ps+: All of them, they are all good.

Best ps4 feature: Suspend/resume

Best racing game with a stripped down version free on ps+: N/A

Would've liked something better for Vita (which i've actually spent more time playing lately than my PS 3). But january doesnt seem to bad.

I'd really like more decent sales, to be honest.

Decent list. First Light and Swapper already make it a great month, but two new day 1 Vita games are nice. We should have seen Duke Nukem coming since it was confirmed for January months ago. Also lends more credence that we're getting that awful looking Krinkle Krusher game in February. Yuck. As for PS3, I already have Ducktales and it was great (I should have tried to 100% it) and I have a retail version of Prototype 2 that I might sale for a few bucks.

It's interesting what they're doing with Vita Plus. They're definitely giving us smaller games (haven't had a retail title since August with Dragon's Crown) but at least they're brand new games so it guarantees that nobody owns the games. Duke Nukem is a decent sized (but ancient) game but Woah Dave is definitely a couple dollar game at most but they've still got me interested in it since it's brand new. So it works for me.

Amazon just sent me a $7 refund for return shipping costs on the Fire Sticks, even though they also sent me a prepaid return label with UPS.  Weird, but I'll take it I guess.

I was hoping we'd get VVVVVV and La-Mulana EX as the January Vita games since the latter releases that month, but alas. :-({|=

Woah Dave does have crossbuy so we should be getting it on PS4 as well.  Swapper is PS4/PS3/Vita crossbuy but only one trophy list.  Duke Nukem is also coming to PS3 but no news about crossbuy there.  It also has a shared trophy list and no platinum.

I hope the fact that Woah Dave's trophy list isn't out yet doesn't mean we'll have another Hungry Horde on our hands.

Duke Nukem was very briefly put up on EU PSN in November before being taken down (obviously it's release date changed when it became part of Plus) and it wasn't cross-buy then.  So probably no crossbuy now.

I was set to buy duke nukem day one, but free would be even sweeter. Wasn't the release date pencilled in for the 14th?
