RC Cola is the soda that poor people by. Seriously. No one actually likes it. My poor redneck cousins and other rednecks we hung out with as kids always drank it. The poor black kids in the hood that my step brother was friends with because he lived near them also drank it. But no one actually likes it.
I thought they only drank grape soda..

You know what other drink has a crown on the can. fucking Budweiser. Your argument has been invalidated.
You don't like the king of beers? You must be one of those Commie Pinko bastards ol' Mr America himself Joe McCarthy's always talking about.

Is it the coke vs pepsi discussion time of the year? If so, fuck them both. Here's the cola champ:

Do they still make that? I remember as a kid drinking it (and Jolt) and liking it better then Coke and Pepsi.

Probably started by a pissed off former Coke employee.
Apparently a pissed off Coke buyer.

In 1901, the Cole-Hampton-Hatcher Grocery Store was established in Columbus, Georgia. In 1903, the Hatcher family took sole ownership and the name was changed to the Hatcher Grocery Store. The grocery store was located at what was 22 West 10th Street. Today's address (after house number changes) is 15 West 10th Street. At that same time, the popularity of bottled soft drinks rose rapidly, and grocery store owners wished to maximize their profit.[2] As a grocery wholesaler, Claud A. Hatcher purchased a large volume of Coca-Cola syrup from the local company salesman, Columbus Roberts. Hatcher felt that Hatcher Grocery Co. deserved a special reduced price for the syrup since it purchased such large volumes. Roberts would not budge on the cost, and a bitter conflict between the two erupted. Hatcher told Roberts he would win the battle by never purchasing any more Coca-Cola, and Hatcher determined to develop his own soft drink formula. Thus, he went to the basement of the grocery store to find his cola. Instead, he developed a recipe for ginger ale.[3]
Grape Nehi
At one point apparently the Royal Crown company was changed to Nehi company. So the same company started most of the flavored sodas as well.

Other way around.

The "Nehi Corporation" name was adopted in 1928 after the Nehi fruit-flavored sodas became popular. In 1955, the company changed its name to Royal Crown Company, after its RC Cola brand.

I've been calling this whole time, but I agree it may get their hopes up just to crush them.  But since I do all the prior communication by phone, it feels weird transitioning to email just for the negative response.  Like I'm too big of a pussy to call them and just tell them.

If I told HR to do it, they would just send the blanket lifeless denial email, I'm sure of it.  I don't want that, I want to at least send a personal message thanking them for their time.  Our HR are a bunch of [wonderful people].

If you were wanting the Dark Souls 2 CE extras but were wanting to wait for the Scholar Sin edition  / PS4 version. The Xbox 360 version of the CE is available on the microsoft website for $40.

http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Dark-Souls-II-Collectors-Edition-for-Xbox-360/productID.297657100?ClickID=arpyko0lnprlwwoavnaanzsrloky9rlwzllr

Then You can either turn in the whole armor edition for $9.25 at amazon, or save the steelish-book (even though it has dirty Xbox 360 on it) and turn in the disc only for $7.25, or try and sell it through other means.

I gotta say.  Grape Crush is great.

And I remember those New York Seltzers being sold here in FL.  They are gross.  I hate seltzer water.

Damn it is amazing some of the tangents you can take when you look up things like RC cola and where it was sold in google.

I think it was Royal Crown first though, then went through some changes.

The first product in the Royal Crown line was Royal Crown Ginger Ale in 1905,[4] followed by Royal Crown Strawberry, and Royal Crown Root Beer. The company was renamed Chero-Cola in 1910, and in 1925 renamed Nehi Corporation after its colored and flavored drinks. In 1934, Chero-Cola was reformulated by Rufus Kamm, a chemist, and re-released as Royal Crown Cola.

I hated it then but lately, I've gone that route. I am mostly done with soda but wanted something with the carbonation and a decent flavor so seltzer it is.

Although, I have been wondering what it would be like to have carbonated iced tea. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/sparkling-ice-bursts-into-the-tea-aisle-with-introduction-of-iced-tea-product-line-278214511.html

My wife drinks soda water. To me it tastes salty even though it doesn't have salt in it. I'm not sure why that is, but they always say on the bottle does not contain sodium, I assume because it does in fact taste like it has salt in it.

It's the minerals they add to it.

One day they will discover that all the shit they add to water to make it taste good is really bad for you.  Even those that are supposed to be healthy for you will turn out to be poisonous.  And the reason everyone has to take medications every day and why everyone is allergic to nuts and gluten now.
