I'd probably actually prefer Joe's Crab Shack, even though it will be quite a bit more expensive. I may end up trying to talk her into it, we'll see. It's also further away and would take like 90+ mins for lunch. Not a problem for me but she is hourly so she would have to make up that time or use vacation pay to make up for it, which sucks for her.
And then you would have to make sure your employees (if they are hourly) dont think they can take 90 minute lunches too. Even though they dont seem to care that the rest of the week you leave your desk a total of 30 minutes a day.

In all the hubbub this morning, I forgot to post my latest weird possibly disgusting snack food discovery:

If she was the type of chick that wasn't cool with fast food and needed to be treated to expensive dinners and shit like that, I wouldn't be bothering with her in the first place. She's super low maintenance with stuff like that which is really nice.
Were your parents murdered by a Morton's Steakhouse? Why such hostility towards good food?

I can't remember if I've ever been to Macaroni Grill, so either I haven't, or it is godawful and I'm blocking the memory of it.

Applebees I have been to and I don't need to go back.
Seriously. If you're going to a sit down restaurant with a menu, why in the hell are you going to a chain.

My parents like going to Applebees, TGI Fridays, etc, etc because the food is plain and there's no sort of weird surprises on the menu.

I have lots of meetings. They wouldn't know if I went to a meeting followed by lunch, or took a long lunch. On Thursday I didn't even get to my office for the first time til after 11:30. Their previous boss was even busier than I was, out of the office most of the day on some days. The only thing I have to worry about when it comes to setting a good example is getting in on time.

I started up Uncharted 3 in 3D. I don't know if it's just that good or if it nails my wheelhouse perfectly but it's really frigging great. I know it probably gets worse because I know their have been complaints about it (and 2 is the favorite) but right now I'm enjoying ignorant bliss. I'm up to Chapter 7. The 3D makes the game more immersive. I don't really feel strongly about 3D one way or the other but at least on a home TV it's not jumping all over the place like on a shitty 3DS. I'll be ready for 4 when it comes out :) Glad I'm catching up on all these series finally.

I never watched Seinfeld. I'm not a sitcom person for the most part.
You have done yourself a great disservice. Seinfeld is one of the greatest shows ever. Period. Though it is kind of funny watching now because a lot of the problems they run into in the episodes are not relevant anymore because everyone in the world has a cell phone.

It's hilarious how cell phones basically destroy the premise for a ton of Seinfeld episodes.

And I can't believe some of you guys don't remember Kramer toasting his jacket in the oven.

Dude, its a classic. Can't beat the fake Steinbrenner getting all excited when Kramer comes in the office smelling like the calzones.

The putting a shirt in the oven thing doesn't exactly make me want to rush out and buy the Seinfeld blu-ray set. I thought Seinfeld was a very funny standup comic, though.

Because I'm cheap. I'm not going out to places like that multiple times a week.
Well, yea, I don't think its reasonable unless you're a pitfallharry to go out to a top end restaurant several times a week. But it's nice to go to a good place once a month, or at least once in a great while.

There's gotta be really good local places too that aren't any more pricey than the chains.

Gotta love jkam. Completely ignores pages of just pure shit and comes right in with a game related post without batting an eye. I fucking love it.

Yup, a great one. George getting banned from the calzone place because he was taking his tip out of the tip jar because the guy didn't see him put it in and gave him a dirty look.

That's what has made the horror movie more difficult too.

..how is this even possible?
I caught a few minutes here and there, but never was interested in Seinfeld. My understanding is that the characters in the show are all terrible people, to the point where the series finale is literally about summing up examples of how shitty they are for a jury and them subsequently ending up in jail. That matches up with what little I watched and doesn't really provide any appeal for me.

Have you played the Vita game?

Yeah, Larry David as Steinbrenner is awesome. The Body Suit Man episode was on last night, I only caught a couple minutes of it but that's great too.

Who leaves a country packed with ponies to come to a non-pony country? It doesn't make sense!

Yeah man, what makes you think I don't? I went for some sweet as sushi on Saturday.

We have lots of good local places but almost all of them are downtown in the city. Not feasible for lunch, but I make the rare exception for Moochies because they have basically the only good philly cheesesteak left in town. Everyone wants to put fucking swiss or provalone cheese on them. It has to be that liquid whiz cheese stuff!

I'd be interested in seeing a version of Seinfeld that didn't have a laugh track. Can't stand laugh tracks. If the show is actually funny then it will stand up without one.

She wants to feel like she is worth more than $4 is about the only reason I can think of.
If shes sleeping with you, it's pretty obvious she likes a limp noodle.
she is used to that
What you do in the privacy of your own bedroom should stay in the privacy of your own bedroom.
I hope she at least takes her cholesterol pills and her daily aspirin. A woman of that age needs to take care of herself.

Unprovoked hating on me within a 23 minute span. It doesn't bug me much (if it did I would just stop posting) but just pointing out that I'm not the hater here, as Pharm suggested earlier.

How do you even know the laugh track or not to make it keep you from watching a show? If the show is funny and you laugh who the fuck cares if there is fake laughter thrown in as well? And didnt every show from the 80s and 90s have laugh tracks?

In fairness, you made silly comments ripe for plucking.

(Just like all of us do everyday mostly)
