I do not recall a lever. I remember having timing issues also. I just had to get better at it over several attempts.


Just wait till you get to the crate push/spike challenge. <shudder>

I've been itching for a tennis game since I played a match with Gator.

 
fuckin' shit. The rear touch pad is a bullshit replacement for a button. I keep accidentally reading text, opening the save menu and pulling switches in God of War. Also, I swear I just heard the fuckin wilhelm scream in this shit.

One dash, dive, two dashes, dive, then just swim to the next hole. Charge them fuckers up to the max and don't interrupt them while you're still moving.

Ha, yeah, I read people hated that part. I def struggled more on the box/spike combo than the beams. A few of the challenges at the end pissed me off too.

I platted 1 and 3 but for some reason lost interest in 2 and didn't finish. I was prob GOW'ed out at the time.

thanks for the feedback -- but an unthankyou for letting me know my troubles have just began. if I ever get past this then there is more to come I guess- I look forward to trying the strategy tomorrow. had to rage quit tonight before I got the advice.

 
Balls. Gonna need a second playthrough. Missed the speed run by about 20 minutes. I guess the time still ticks in the upgrade menu.

Virtua Tennis 4 is pretty solid. Lots of stuff to do, some of the mini games are good, some are shit, but at the end of the day, the career mode is pretty fun.

Went ahead and bought Pinball Arcade Season 2 for PS3 and Season 1 for PS4.  Kind of derpy of me to get the latter as I already snagged Season 1 for PS3 & Vita during their last half-off sale, but the sweet siren song of pinball + decent sale + trophies proved irresistible.    

Pinball Tournament of Champions for February TiT?     :D

Walking Dead s2 - no missable trophies?

I'm starting that up and have to decide between Freedom Wars or Disgaea 3 for something long term. There's probably folks waiting to play FW coop, but I've never actually finished a Disgaea game despite really enjoying them so I'd like to finally do that. Any advice?

I'd have to sit that tourney out since I want to focus on my backlog, but I'm sure that would only get more people to participate.

I think the only Telltale game with missable trophies is The Wolf Among Us with the Book of Fables entries.

As for what you should play next, I have Freedom Wars in my backlog, though I didn't plan on starting it just yet. Were you planning on platting Disgaea 3? I've heard many people claim D4 is a far better installment.

I didn't like Disgaea 3 at all and don't really recommend starting there if you want to finish your first one off. Disgaea 1 was a lot better in story and level design and game mechanics IMO. Then again with Disgaea 3 I quit playing immediately after finishing the campaign, which sucked pretty hard. It may be the post-game content is better. Bug Stotch about this since he wrote the trophy guide and I'd guess he's played most of the series.

I was tempted to respond to him. Nothing major. Just a hardy "lol" or something. But then I thought it wasnt worth the time. I would rather post here about not responding to him.

Good luck to him though. I hope he turns himself around at some point and becomes normal (again?).

Also got plat 37 last night with Resistance.  Gator and I got Kilik to help then we helped Pancakes.  But it turned out to not be needed really as there were a few games with plenty of people last night.  It was strange since there was literally no one playing on the weekend.

Oh, I just broke 2500 Country Rank and am close to breaking 10K World Rank on PSNP.   Woot.

I thought about reporting him but decided against it. I really just want to be done with the whole thing and wash my hands of the situation.

It's fucked up that he still thinks he's innocent in all this. At the very least we can say we tried.
