I don't mean this as demeaning at all, but it always amazes me when someone puts triple digit hours into a game. I think my longest game ever was ffx for the plat and that was probably about 80 hours. And then I read about the time required for destiny of spirits 100% being like 300 hours and I can't even comprehend it.
I agree. I think the only game I have ever put over 100 hours into was Burnout Paradise. And thats really only because of trophies being patched in later.

I love GTA games and yet I have never put more than 50 or so hours into any of them. I put 70 plus into Just Cause 2. Everything else I play is probably 30 hours or less. Most of them under 10 since I generally play shorter SP games.

I really hope someone nominated pix the cat for psnot goty. That game was incredible.

And what's up with you douchebags not giving up on woah dave? I really thought I'd actually win a month. fuck. all. of. you.

Lego Batman 3 seems a lot more fun than Lego Marvel. Not that Lego Marvel was bad, but I think having access to the different costumes and more than 2 characters in the levels (before beating the game) helps things a lot.

Plus there's a lot less collectible nonsense, even if I still don't like being forced to play almost all of the levels a second time when free play is available.
Are you comparing the Vita versions here? The console version of Lego Batman 3 is very similar to the console version of Lego Marvel. In fact, I would say Batman has more collectibles and stuff to do than Marvel.

Lego Marvel Vita just had a whole bunch of levels with challenges. It sounds like Lego Batman Vita might have more collectibles but could possibly be shorter if the challenges are not there.

So Nintendo has gone off the deep end with the new 3DS then?  Do they think they dont need any new customers, they can just rely on the same people buying everything they throw out there?

Do you guys really buy every new iteration of every Nintendo console?

At full price? HECK no.

Exactly what I was thinking. They're basically saying that they're expecting the primary buyers to be current owners (but in bizarre corner cases where someone is getting a DS for the first time you can buy a separate ac adapter - we need to take care of our costs, guys). It's weird!

Also, Wii downloads on the wiiu? Anything else interesting?

The new Mario vs DK is cross-buy, so that's a step in the right direction.
The last time I mentioned Tales of Xillia 2, I said that I'd be getting just a few more trophies because I wasn't having much fun with it. Apparently I was including the plat in those "few more". I now consider the two Xillia titles to be the worst in the Tales series (starting from Symphonia since I didn't play the ones prior to that) because of the annoying cast, dumb plotholes, and BS endings.

I think I need help.
Hmm. Might sell Xillia.

Not only that, but you cant trade in a DS without the power cable/AC cable right? So you have to keep your old DS unless you find some shitty knockoff when you trade it in to buy the new one?

Yeah, when I heard that about the AC adapter, I almost didn't believe he said that.

Also, I love the "You can use amiibos for so many games! Oh but if you do, you need to erase all your progress on the current game for that amiibo."

So basically, buy one amiibo for each game that uses it unless you love constantly resetting your progress.

I totally thought Nintendo would have gone the way of Sega after the wii success started to fade away and just make mario/pokemon/zelda games for sony/microsoft systems. I havnt bought a Nintendo game in forever since gamecube/ds lite days, but I would probly check them out at least if they were on a system I own. Kinda crazy they are still going. idk

The lack of a power cord is bizarre, but you can pick up a 3DS USB charging cable for fairly cheap. $6.xx shipped from amazon. Use that with whatever USB chargers you have. That's better than one limited to wall outlets. Of course they should have included a cable like that. Cheapskates….

But that Majora's Mask new 3DS XL is pretty damn sweet. Well, I don't have the money for it.

I dont get how nintendo is still in business.
Yeah, I have a deep affection and history with Nintendo, but i don't know how even half of these ideas make it out of the privacy of their conference rooms without being killed or at least fixed. Is that amiibo thing real too? Amazing.

Majora's Mask new 3DS XL is already sold out at Gamestop. Lack of power cord wouldn't seem to be an issue for sales.

If Microsoft or Sony told people they would stop putting power cords in with their consoles the whole world would flip out.

If Nintendo really does this there will be some angry parents that didnt know the new 3DS didnt come with a power cord.
