I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a satisfactory condition Surface Pro 3 128gb for $588 on cowboom

I've been wanting one, and this version is usually 900-1k new. Also the 4 will probably come out this year with windows 10, and is supposed to be better and cheaper so I may wait on that.

Do you have to have a Home account already or whatever? I thought they got rid of the app from the XMB? If its really as easy as you say I would login if I could.

I just want to point out that as the main trophy whore of the thread, I have not even done this.

 
In response to a moron on Reddit saying the Vita has no games so he's trading his in for a 3DS, I did a bit of research. In NA, Vita has 336 games and 3DS is sitting at 327. This is even though the 3DS came out a year earlier (3/27/11 versus 2/15/12.)

Tyler, why did you go heckle the AWD OT thread?  There would barely be any posts in there otherwise.  You are basically doing the equivalent of responding to a snakey post.

 
I hate how so many goty/complete editions of games are buggy. You would think if you have a complete/goty edition all of the bugs should be worked out and it should never freeze. SR4 national treasure edition keeps freezing during insurance fraud / mayhem because of too much stuff happening on screen. It starts to slow down and lose audio and then freeze. ugh. same thing with those fall out games etc

I haven't played my 3DS in nearly a year now. I have Eterian Odyssey IV still to start on it, but I seem to just be having more fun with the vita.

Does that mean the standard version of SR4 should run fine? I installed the DLC from the National Treasure edition using a GS "rental" and since then I bought a copy of the standard version from Amazon Warehouse Deals.

Seems a little similar to the gameplay in Binding of Isaac. Looks cool though.

Speaking of, can't believe BoI didn't make the list for best PS+ games, would've had my vote for sure.

That's the part I'm pissed off about. I find the XL to be bigger than what I need it for and a pain to carry around since it doesn't fit easily into a pocket, plus the faceplates were a great idea. I suppose rather than sell us faceplates they would rather sell us limited edition consoles. I'm surprised the announcement didn't include a couple special editions of the old 3DS just to try to milk a few extra bucks out of people.

Plus Amiibos can only carry save data for a single game at a time? Are they kidding with that?

 
Any of you read comics still?

Star wars #1 from marvel came out today. Got it at lunch and read it, its pretty solid start. Only gripe is some of the 3PO dialogue, for whatever reason, just sounded off to me.

  1. Any idea on price?
    A: We haven’t totally worked on the details on the price, but expect a typical indiegame price point. 
     
  2. What kind of game length are we talking about, and what’s the replay potential?
    A: As of right now its about 10+ hours on normal mode for a first time play through and quite a bit more on a higher difficulty. The world map is pretty accurate so that will give you a solid idea of the world size.
     
  3. Will there be a plat?
    A:  I assume by plat you mean platinum trophy in which case, yes there will be a platinum trophy.
     
  4. What are you expecting for the release date?
    A: Soon? The game is basically done and is now beginning final stages of the QA process.
So good news there, I think.

 
It should be up til Mar31st. and I didn't know you could install the sr4 dlc, so idk, but sr4 vanilla didn't freeze this much. n yeah ill send ya an apt invite in a min.

I did not even think about Disney owning Marvel now meaning they would likely start doing more comics from their other franchises.

Is there a Mickey Mouse #1?

Can't believe you didn't nominate BoI. Or did you? Not sure if the games we're voting on are all of the nominees or the ones with some minimum number of nominations.

No but there is a Darth Vader coming in Feb and a Princess Leia coming in march.

I think they, along with Star Wars, are all set between IV and V

This is like when Google revealed manufacturing their phone in the US cost them an extra $4. Except they're stupid because they should be embracing that and charging people a $50 "Made in America" fee. I can't believe Apple hasn't already done it.

 
No one mentioned Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, but man, does that look adorable and fun. I also like that it'll have a $39.99 MSRP like Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, if the Canadian and Japanese prices are any indication.
