I voted for Proteus, but the truth is I got a kick out of the little chicken-like things that run away from you. Best pixely chicken-like things in 2014.

I think Greg Miller put it the best when he said the Vita is an electronics device and the 3DS is a toy. I'd be fine with the "toy" as long as it was more like a DS Lite. Even the DSi XL was better Hardware wise than the 3DS XL. I'm not sure if the new 3DS XL will feel any better but I'm not spending money to find out. I barely play my 3DS as it is. The real shame is that people have said the new smaller 3DS feels more like a DS Lite which is all I really wanted at this point.

I used to be a pretty big Nintendo fan in the Gamecube days and defended them on occasion but then kept getting let down by their weird and baffling decisions. I realize they make all of them based solely on money at this point and nothing else. It's a real shame because the products are really starting to suffer from this way of thinking.

I still don't understand people that say the 3DS lineup is better than Vita's. I've already finished more games on my Vita than my DS Lite and to me that speaks volumes about the library offered up. I thought the DS lineup was amazing but the 3DS one just feels lackluster. It doesn't help when games like New Super Mario Bros. 2 and that Yoshi game just feel and look like more of the same. The real gems so far to me have been Mario 3D Land and Resident Evil Revelations (haven't played the new Zelda yet).

Don't even get me started on the PS Plus stuff along with all your games being tied to 1 system on the 3DS bullshit.

The other thing that drives me nuts is Nintendo refuses to upgrade the screens in their portable system to a resolution that is fitting for 2015. I guess at this point I'm just finishing up the last part of my Nintendo gaming career. fuck you Nintendo!

mine ended with the Game Boy Advance SP. Although I do still have an original NES that I still have alot of fun with!

Subway's meatball subs are fuckin terrible! I had one once a meatball fell out of and I swear I saw it bounce back into my sandwich

Any love for Steamworld Dig? I played the shit out of that game for about a week.

I think most people here who played it liked it. I liked it a lot, it's fun. It's no Terraria though.

 
I'm surprised given the universal "meh" when people talk about Doki-Doki Universe that it didn't cracked the top 5, but I guess I'm one of the only dolts who actually played it.

Mine is Type 2 as well. I would have thought that would work. I have no idea if you were sending stuff out to me and I was getting it that the NAT would not be opened for me to send back to you. Seems bizarre.

I came across a Buzzfeed article today that had a bunch of Mitch Hedberg jokes. I'm still bummed he's dead. This one made Diet DP shoot out my nose:

A lot of bars have black lights. And when a bar has black lights, everybody looks very cool. Except for me… because I was under the impression that the mustard stain came out.

Codename Steam is done by the recent Fire emblem guys, or at least a fire emblem guy. The fire emblem characters are actually playable in game if you have their amiibos. Just a bunch of Nintendo cross promotion, each franchise helping to promote the other.

The funny thing is when they were highlighting it during the Nintendo Direct they said something about new gameplay style a first of its kind or something along those lines. Valkyria Chronicles says hi Nintendo. That being said, it still looks great and I'm getting it. Mostly cause Valkyria Chronicles.

I never thought to get hot peppers. I'm definitely going to do that next time I got to Jimmy John's, because that sounds amazing.

Jimmy John's is my favorite sandwich place, because they once delivered a sandwich to me while I was standing in line for a concert.

 
Started SS. After finishing Infamous 2 a couple of weeks ago and Festival of Blood on Saturday, SS is ridiculously pretty. I like how it starts, too--does a good job of introducing the character and setting things up. Finally realized protag's name is Delsin not Deslin, apparently I've read it wrong like a million times. Interesting choice for the ethnicity of the main character--I didn't realize that was part of the story at all.

Really liking the smoke grenade. Makes things super easy, but it's cool from a mechanics standpoint. Shooting down the drones is way harder than it should be, but I'm guessing I'll get a power later that will make that easy. Right now I just finished off the space needle so I'm still fairly early in.

Feels like Delsin tends to jump off shit a lot. Like I'll climb a pole and he'll jump down rather than jumping up to balance on the top. I've run into a number of other objects that he just slid right off the top rather than standing or balancing upon. It's a bit awkward. Maybe I'm missing some change to the climbing mechanics and just haven't figured it out yet.

Climbing in general feels less quick and easy than Infamous 2. Tons of locations don't have a vent as a quick route to the top of a building, but at the same time there are less handholds in the sides of all the objects to climb. I'm hoping I get a power soonish that makes that a lot easier. I really want a flight power like FoB had.

I both like and dislike the new map. Like because it shows a lot more specifics with the different symbols and such. Dislike because it feels like a lot of that stuff is pretty small and can be obscured by other symbols on the map. 

So far I'm not sure I understand the preference of Infamous 2 over SS. Maybe once I get further in I'll start to see that more.
