I wasn't really impressed with Second Son, Far cry 4 was far cry 3 with auto drive, and I played TLOU on ps3 and havnt started ps4 version yet. I only just started Mordor the other day, and the story is eh, but the open world and nemesis system and 'emergent gameplay' (buzzword!) is awesome. I had a feud with bolgar the duelist and fulgroth the venemous and they kept ganging up on me and killing me and running away, and even after I killed them they came back and had scars and it was awesome. I just lose time just fighting orcs. It is anti climactic when you kill an orc you just met, or when a random nobody kills you, but what an awesome game. so yeah that got my vote.

Their best music came in the 70s. Their first cd came out in late 1977 or early 1978 and had 2 amazing VH songs: Eruption and Runnin With The Devil. 1984 was obviously their most successful album but compared to everything before it, it was over synthesized dreck. And don't even get me started on the Van Hagar years! Turned an amazing rock band into an 80s ballad band! No thank you!

Found out though that apparently the devs... forgot it. What a bunch of dumbasses. They're going to patch it in at a later date.

Lol, the whole thing seems rushed. I got genuinely upset playing it the other day because there is just so much wasted potential. The characters themselves are very fun to use in the game, but there's nothing interesting to do with them. It's like they assume everyone favors the toy box. We'll probably end up buying the Spider-Man playset and Venom and just be done with it.

The problem I had was the game being so easy that I rarely died. When I did it was almost always because of an extreme case of overwhelming numbers and random people getting shots in on occasion with no time to relax. Really made the Nemesis system kind of pointless. I saw some of it, but not much.

Also...the orcs you killed came back to life? What? I had that happen once when the orc was running away and I knocked it off a cliff. It should have died but just disappeared instead. It's not supposed to happen, though--orcs are supposed to stay dead. :whistle2:k

 
I never got a BB coupon for the Golds. I did get 15% off Ink and Toner, though.

If you "killed" an orc but didn't get the decapitation cinematic, there's a chance he didn't actually die and he comes back with a scar or other injury. I thought it was a really cool touch.

no they sure came back.  maybe they ran away... but idk. They were both missing the cool helmets they had before and had scars and the one guy said something like 'your magic won't burn me this time.'

I went to do a warchief fight, and I had killed all his bodyguards, but while I was there like 3 other captains showed up, so that was only time where I ran away. and now every time I see them they are making fun of me for running away, so I try to kill them fast. :)

Damn wish I was around for all the music talk! I listened to a lot of hair bands back in high school days, though a lot of them seem cheesy today. I love how Tesla was mentioned though! I still listen to them til this day. I've seen them live quite a few times as it seemed liked they toured so much around here to all the small venues and festivals. I also can listen to some gnr or Iron Maiden anytime.

I'll go with BJ over the Boss mostly based on nostalgia, even though Bruce Springsteen is the better overall artist. Kind of like how Aerosmith is my favorite even though Zeppelin/Beatles/Floyd are obviously better.

Yeah, I don't think there's anyway you could have touch controls on an Xbox One game on a tablet. Have to have a controller synced to it to get it to work.
 
Never mentioned I started Tomb Raider PS4. Not that far in but I'm really digging it so far. Weird that it relies so much on fire to solve puzzles though, at least early on. Also weird that the things you are setting on fire are sometimes saturated with water, even floating in water but somehow burn like paper.
 
Hey Gator, what do you think of Terrapin's Hopsecutioner? I think it's mighty tasty. I also like their Moo-Hoo Chocolate Milk Stout.

I liked The Last of Us enough but didn't think it was anything great. Saw no reason to buy it again on PS4. Played some more FC4 after work. It was a bit more fun. I was able to call in reinforcements to help me. Kind of neat. Still haven't figured out how to get to the next mission though.

 
I feel like maybe I should fire up Arkham City on the 360 and get the DLC done. Bought the game close to launch, beat it, traded it off, bought the complete edition a year ago and never got around to it.

It would definitely help to get rid of my 360 backlog.

Great game, but I think it's weird that they changed her face. They both look good but I think I prefer the old generation look. It might just be because that's what I played.

I'm with you on that one.

It could be that it looks more like the actual actress in the PS4 version. I remember watching a special feature on the PS3 that included the actress and thinking that she didn't look very similar to Lara.

Most wanted vita playas: do some mp ahead of time if you want the quickest way to finish them trophies. Despite what the guide says. Use a less exotic car like the. Dodge challenger and you only have to drive 25 miles to unlock the quickest mods for reinflates and tracktires. Then drift 5k yards on tracktires. Then we are set to run a custom speedlist and get the pro mods.

I created a custom speed list already using the great Scott race noted in the guide.

Terrapin is a bit of a pet peeve for me. I want to support the in state breweries, but most of their beers to me are mediocre at best. Hopsecutioner is ok, but with that name and how they bill it, it falls short for me. It should be more on par with other IPAs and it just isn't IMO. The Moohoo is ok and at least it still comes in 6 packs for a reasonable price unlike their others.

Wake and Bake (or coffee imperial breakfast stout as it is labeled now) is their best beer. However, it is 3 bucks a 4 pack more than Founder's Breakfast Stout which is a much better beer. So I tend not to give them much business anymore.
