I think we can safely divide the thread with this sale. People that are awesome will be buying Worms 2 (me). People that suck won't (literally everyone else in the world).

 
My buddy at PAX South talked to Nicalis.  They said that VVVVVV is done for Vita but they're waiting for the EU version to be finished before they release it since they got so much flack for releasing 1001 Spikes in the US but not EU at the same time.

Bad news there is that 1001 Spikes isn't even out in Europe yet, and it's been out here forever.  So VVVVVV will probably still be a while away!

What the fuck would make a European version of a game take so fucking long?  Translating the text into multiple languages?

... for me.  I already knew I was going to buy these games sooner or later so the decision was easy.  Going to keep my order open just in case you guys convince me of anything else.  Watched some gameplay of the other games but nothing hooked me.

As a pinball fan, I really wanted to be interested in Rollers of the Realm, but none of the vids I watched looked that appealing.

After watching a video review of OlliOllie I didn't find it appealing at all, but I'm not much a fan of high score grind games. I had played a little of Kane and Lynch 1, but never seen footage of Kane and Lynch 2. fuck does that "skippy VHS / buffering video" effect look hella annoying as it's not just in cutscenes but during the actual gameplay as well.

edit:  lol, nevermind... didn't see what time it was.  You wouldn't know it was close to their bedtime with as loud as they're being over here.

They briefly posted a different code on mobile that might work. I posted it maybe at 4 or so. Could've been for another region.

Also, I'm pretty sure Tomb Raider Definitive is the best looking game I've ever played.
 
Just double checked my mm 3ds order. Mine is still valid, dunno at this point if i'm more excited to keep the console or if I'd rather have the $50...

Legend of Mana and Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain

I decided to pass on Shadow Warrior because it was the most expensive and seemed grindy. Rollers of the Realm was kind of boring so I skipped it too.

I tried the demo for the first one several years ago on 360 and felt really bored by it, but I suppose my gaming tastes may have changed since then.

After they douched us by making preorders ineligible I just bought all my shit on Wednesday. I had $112 in my psn wallet, and spent 100 of it that day. They can blow that 10% code out their asses!

The weird thing about Brothers is that every single trophy is for a single collectible/action. I wasn't trying to get trophies when I played it and just went through the game normally. Didn't get a single trophy. Kind of frustrating now, having that 0%, because I have absolutely no desire to replay the game. It was very unique and a good game, but...not one I'd want to revisit.

Infamous: SS is gorgeous. Wonder if your opinion will change when you get to that.

 
I am so dense sometimes, I just now came to the realization that my copy of NFS: MW on PS3 is digital AND I have a PS3 upstairs and downstairs, so I can multiplayer boost with myself since no one else has the PS3 version.

Ran through a big chunk of SS Evil story. Just finished getting all the 3rd power upgrades. I'll knock out the rest of the story + plat in the morning. 

The game is more fun the second run, for the most part, due to not doing the tedious collection stuff. That just wasn't done very well in SS. The second run definitely highlights how little time they spent on the story and character interactions, though. The relationship with the brother should not progress the same in the Evil story line as it does in the Good, but it absolutely does. That's just bizarre and a huge oversight. Delsin's progression in that story line into Evilness isn't given much effort, either.

Honestly I'm kind of hoping that the next Infamous stars a new character. Delsin just doesn't do a whole lot for me, and his brother is annoyingly prejudiced and that's kind of grating for a cop character.
