Man I hate living in New England sometimes. We just went to the grocery store and it was mobbed. Some fat guy tried to jump the deli counter line and I called him on it...fists almost went flying.
Yeah dude the lines were crazy. I went yesterday and they were busy but not crazy. Today they were just out of control and the shelves were practically empty. Well least I was able to grab enough food for the next few days *and my backlog should keep me distracted*

I'm not sure if all grocery stores have this, but the Stop & Shop we go to does. You can put your deli order into a kiosk, and they prep it while you do other stuff and send you a text when it's ready. So we finished all our other shopping, and our deli order wasn't ready yet. We're standing next to where they put the kiosk orders, and some dude is standing there just picking stuff out of the orders and putting it into his cart. Our stuff came out and he grabbed our chicken and we had to be like um dude what are you doing. Guy just likes to fuck with everyone's shit I guess.

So the NHL allstar game is now 5-5 and both teams scored a goal in the first 30 seconds of the second period.

Yea, no defense is being played so its pretty boring.

Burger King messed up a New Hampshire woman's order this week, putting a $2,631 cash drop in her bag instead of the Spicy Crispy Chicken Jr. and sweet tea

the couple briefly considered keeping the money, which they certainly could have used. But he says he and his wife are Jehovah's Witnesses, and that "Jehovah sees everything."

lol that Jehovah sounds like a dick

We go to Market Basket and I wish they would do something like that. I would have lost it if we had a guy like that though.

Thats actually my co-worker's hometown, cant wait to give him some shit about this in the office tomorrow.

I think I'll put off CoE with all the crashing issues you're having.

Since I'm not buying that, I'm eyeing Brandish instead. Looks pretty cool.
Brandish looks awesome. I forgot to get it when using my 10% off coupon, but last night I went back and snagged it, Front Mission 3 and Legend of Mana. Crazy that I could be buying two new release PSP games at full price in the first quarter of 2015 (Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 2 being the other).

Singularity MP was actually pretty awesome, especially playing as a tick/giant spider or the phase shift soldier :) If anyone ends up going for the plat, ill gladly help for a few of the mp rounds if there is a group boosting it here. The single player was awesome too, especially the time shift bubbles.

also congrats gator on the plat. If anyone wants to help me boost some platinum medals for winning races / tdm matches, hit me up. I'm sure that now gator is done they will have a x2 rp weekend or release some fancy heists soon :)

I need some races for car parts/paint jobs, but I don't recall how many.

I highly recommend these for homemade tacos.  They're great little bowls that allow for layering the ingredients and also can be folded when biting them so you don't need a fork.

I don't know if anyone cares, but mortal kombat x had been graced with a $10 preorder cert at best buy. There will undoubtedly be a complete/ultimate/whatever edition someday, but it's a lot more fun getting a fighting game on day one before everyone online has figured out how to maul you. Especially when you can probably trade it back in for what you paid for the first few weeks.

And preorders get goro day one. Fun!

Too bad about the crazy MP trophy requirements in those games.

That reminds me that I do have Komplete Edition and haven't played it yet. I should get on that.

So I'm looking over the games in the 3 for $10 list. Singularity and Lost Planet 2 should work, but a bit stumped on the third. Any opinions on these?

Homefront

Quantum Theory

If neither of those is any good, I'm not seeing anything else that qualifies. Though that does make me wonder if the games ring up as $3 individually or if they ring up at their normal price and the promo price only kicks in if you buy 3 games.  :whistle2:k

BTW I looked at the gameplay for WET. Looks terrible with the slow-motion sliding and jumping and the gun sounds are absolutely horrid. Not sure what they were thinking there.

kentucky looked good yesterday I still don't see them going undefeated doe
It would be impressive for any team to go undefeated but I'll be even more-so impressed with this team if they get it done. It's not like every team doesn't already get pumped up as it is to play them, but Kentucky keeps letting these little teams stick around and keep it close.

Everyone on the schedule sees this and it builds up their confidence. Got a feeling that one of these teams is going to play out of their skull and knock them out. And I'm not looking forward to going to Vandy after this last game against them. I don't see them shooting lights out like they did but you know they're going to about as hyped as they can be after getting so close to winning... hate that court too.

That is about the only way I can deal with the deli at the supermarket. We were at Stop and Shop today and no one was stealing other people's orders. Never seen that happen.

I try to play through most games, I try to give bad games a chance, I try to get lots of plats at times. But I could not finish WET. It goes with a few others like Quantum Theory where I just couldn't get it done.

Not entire orders, just random stuff that he could just get on his own. I'm sure there were a few people who came for their orders, saw something missing, and blamed it on the deli folks. He was eyeballing my buffalo chicken, so I had to be like "um sir what are you doing, that's my order" and squash him back.

It is kind of weird as sometimes it's hard to keep momentum to maintain the combo streak, but it's not a terrible game. I didn't play it for trophies but I did finish the game.

If I find time to stop by gamestop this week I wouldn't mind grabbing Singularity, castlevania los, and resistence 3 for $10
You can have them hold it via the website now. Just pull up the game pages and choose local pickup. Find a store that has all three. It's just a web form you submit and they'll hold the games for you.

Not saying they'll hold them long, but it's a quick, easy way to find out if a store has the games and to make sure they're actually there and not just in the system.

That's nice and all, but where's our Just Cause 3 preorder cert, Best Buy?! :boxing:

Anyone that's grabbing games from the 3 for $10 Gamestop sale should include Singularity in their haul. Excellent game that seems to be overlooked.
Red Faction Guerilla is also a good one. Heavenly Sword is also an OK game and is disc only (not on PSN) so this might be one of the last chances to get it at a decent price.

Here's the rest of the disc only games on the 3 for $10 list (at least according to PSN, they are bad about not taking down the disc only entry if it is eventually available on disc, like they still have MGS4 as disc only).

Brutal Legend
Castlevania: Lord Of Shadows
EA Sports Active 2
Eye Pet
Fallout: New Vegas
Front Mission Evolved
Heavenly Sword
Hunted: Demon's Forge
Legendary
Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions
Rage
Resistance 3
Rogue Warrior
Singularity
SOCOM 4: US Navy Seals
The Fight: Lights Out
The Saboteur
Tornado Outbreak
Wanted Weapons of Fate
Wet
White Knight Chronicles
Wonderbook: Book of Spells

Finally made my flash sale purchase:

Don't Die, Mr. Robot!

OlliOlli

Shadow Warrior

I passed on Futuridium and Rollers of the Realm because I feel like I could wait for lower prices or PS+ on those.

Memorial is not a bad place to watch a game, but yea the court is weird. We had season tickets in 2L (lower section behind vandy bench) for like 6+ years until a couple seasons ago they basically doubled the price of the tickets by requiring a donation to the commedore club. Yes we had the tickets just to go the UK game.

I hate vandy more than any other team in the SEC. Their fans know jack shit about basketball and are way more arrogant than they should be and are just all around pricks. I was there in 08. Yes I stayed the whole game.

Or you could be like normal people and buy deli meats that are already packaged.

There is actually quite a few games I wouldn't mind getting in that GS fire sale, but I will probably hold myself to just 3. I will end up choosing from:

Singularity

Resistance 3

Warhammer Space Marine

Ghost Recon Future Soldier

WET

Fallout New Vegas

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

The latter three I beat already on the ol shitbox, but I wouldn't mind replaying for trophies.

That's about as weird a glitch as I've run into in Dark Souls. Did a thrust, the enemy parried it, and that caused me to clip through the floor so that I fell into the void where I eventually died of fall damage.

I liked SM quite a bit despite the QTE final boss. Word of warning, though; trophy guide shows 50 hours of MP, and you won't be able to get all that without buying a $10 Elite Pass.

This thing:

https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/warhammer-40000-space-marine-elite-pass/cid=UP1005-BLUS30432_00-ELITEPASSUNLOCK1

Without it you're restricted to level 5 in MP.

That prepackaged crap is almost ok in a pinch. But freshly sliced cold cuts is far superior.

Singularity is an awesome game. I really enjoyed the campaign and even the multiplayer. It kind of reminded me of Left 4 Dead in the whole humans versus monsters way. It was a big surprise on how fun it was. I managed to get all the MP achievements but just never went back to complete my hard playthrough. I've been meaning to do that.

How was match making for you? Whenever I actually tried to play a legit game, I could never really get one going.

I'll probably try to pick it up on Tuesday, so yeah we should get something going with it.
I guess we got three people on board so far. You need 6 to start a match.
