Q, if you had a bad day and need to vent just do it.  People in here do it all the time.

No need to force people to ask you about it when you clearly want to talk about it.

This is the greatest day cause it's the last football game of the season. Finally I can stop taking extra naps on Sundays.

I'm rooting for the Cowboys!

Mailed it right here. Posting cryptically is just going to annoy people. Just come out and say what the hell is going on and you'll get far fewer asshole responses. Especially from me.

I was using the video on the guide on the PST site. I looked at others and they were the slow and go type. I wanted to do it quickly. He said to use grenades and I did and it didnt work. You just mention mines and I had that aha moment. Of course mines work bettter! Finished it first try. Thanks.

Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition: Plat #40

In celebration, I'll drink a 40 for my homies!
Bet you can't wait for 80.

I didn't want to go into it

I just wanted to post somewhere, anywhere that my day has gone to shit without worrying about who read it

Clearly I mde the mistake of posting it here and invoking some sort of discussion

For now I'm done here, I just don't have the patience right now

(Not mad at you Kracker, I get what you're saying and all)

Is there a way for us to do it? I wasn't even planning on tackling the mp because I heard it was a big grind but if there's a way we can work it out that cuts down the time required then I might be up for it.
I've given up on the plat for it, but I'd love to just see what the mp is like. Might be fun to take it for a ride some morning.

Thought this was funny.
A fourth-grader in west Texas has been suspended, his father says, because he pretended to have a ring like the One Ring from The Lord of the Rings canon, and said it could make a classmate disappear.

Dad Jason Steward said he was told his son's claim amounted to making a terrorist threat.

When Steward confronted the school principal to ask what was going on, he said he was told that threatening another child's safety — whether the threats are magical or otherwise — are not tolerated.

Checked out the demo for Life is Strange. It's not very long, but i don't think I'm feeling it. A little too much teenage angst for my taste. There are way too many pointless things to "look at" in the game world, which makes exploring boring. And the lip syncing for dialogue is terrible. Kind of a big deal for a "cinematic" game.

Started American Mcgee's Alice. Controls are pretty dated, but it's not terrible. The PS3 port seems to have issues, though--audio during cut scenes tends to hiccup occasionally, and I've had a couple of occasions where the game just hard froze for about 20 seconds. From the chapter list I appear to be about 1/5 of the way through the game, so it's fairly short which is a good thing IMO.

Stotch. How do the pats get away with being so racist? 9 of 11 offensive players are white? Impossible!

lol.... the first one that came packaged with Madness Returns?

No big surprise that I disagree with you; that game is horribly dated and a chore to play through. Madness Returns is infinitely better.
Yeah, I wanted to play it before Madness Returns. If it had been really bad I would have just skipped it. I'm liking the environment and tone well enough to keep playing even though the mechanics aren't that great. I think it's the oldest 3D platformer I've played, since I never got into them during the PS1 years and so Crash and Spyro got skipped.

So you quit playing SR2 so you could play McGee's Alice?

Yep. Though SR2 kept crashing on me and the game is set up so that you can die very very quickly on some missions. SR2 is dated as well (though not as much, obviously) but it was the forced repetition from replaying crashes/car deaths that made me quit playing. I like skill-based games and don't mind running through a level of Super Meat Boy or something dozens of times, but the situation with SR2 was just infuriating.

The wife is marathoning Friends on Netflix. That laugh track...

They no shit had a live audience, but dubbed in a laugh track if the audience didn't laugh when they were supposed to. If they didn't laugh you think maybe there's a reason?   :wall:
