Thanks again man. I do enjoy that Chewy upped everyone's handicap with his dick-wagging final Attack from Mars score..
What am I missing? It looks like Mpaulin's handicap went down and everybody else stayed the same. Not counting the new guy who didn't have a handicap before.

Oh yeah. For some reason I keep thinking my handicap was 1.2 last round. Don't mind me, I'm just an idiot.

I just talked with one of the old Philips employees in the building.  He knew where the SNES came from.  It was actually given to Philips by Nintendo for testing way back when the Philips guys were making TVs.  Nintendo wanted them to test it with the newer TVs they made to be sure it looked good.

He got a call before I could ask about the 2 other sealed games, but I would have to think based on the story about the console they just came in the package from Nintendo and they never bothered opening them.

So I need some advice from you guys. I'm going in for some training on Tuesday for my (hopefully) new job. At the interview they told me the dress code is casual (not business casual).

Would going in just jeans and a t-shirt be okay? I'm seeing conflicting advice on the internet, some say t-shirt is fine, others don't.

Maybe a good pair of jeans and a polo shirt?

I'd go with a nice golf shirt if you have one just to be safe. Still casual but you look a little nicer just in case. I might even go with a pair of khakis if you had them instead of jeans. You can always go more casual the next day.

I would rock a polo like Vig said. Prolly khakis too rather than jeans until you see for yourself.

Dress up the first day, adjust the second. Vig's idea of polo shirt and jeans is a good one. Or any button down casual shirt would work as well.

Hmm, the only problem is that I have two polo/golf shirts, and they're both black. Also, I'm not even sure if they still fit.

I bought some button-down shirts that are a solid color in anticipation of having to work somewhere with a business or business casual dress, but I didn't expect to work somewhere so lax.

Not really. I had a lot of fun with the Dying Light co-op we were able to do, and a lot of the MW talk I've read here (mainly about modifying cars, which I don't usually like in my racing games, instead preferring the Burnout-style just-pick-a-car-and-use-it approach) has kind of discouraged me from starting it just yet.
Yeah even though most wanted is the closest thing to Burnout in the series. I'm still not a big fan of it since I'm not much of a racing fan beside kart games.

Watch out Tyler. I am coming for you!

WTF man, how am I ever supposed to catch up you now.

Dying Light GS.com-glitch buyers, we might have a problem:

I didn't have any problems playing on Saturday, but I only played MGS4 yesterday. Man, this would suck if true.
Damn that sucks for the person who let me borrow the game.

Ni No Kuni is $7 on clearance at BB. $5.40 after GCU makes it a damn good deal. It's been around that price on PSN but it's also a 21.7GB game, so this might be good for some people:

Thanks I'll have to pick this up. I have a share of it but I don't have room for that 30+ gb download.

If you are over dressed your first day everyone will know why. It isnt a big deal. Over dress. Never under dress.

The not fitting is an issue, but why would black a problem?

You can find Polos for cheap just about anywhere. Grab a few if they dont fit, return your button shirts.

If any of you have Dell.com e-GC credit, they have a $25 e-GC attached to Majora's Mask 3D: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A8176087&dgc=CJ&cid=47997&lid=4279734&acd=10550055-1225267-9f725ae11a244156b6c5635f3e6813f8

I had a $25 e-GC from preordering DA: Inquisition last year, so I bit. I was even able to get free Next-Day Shipping, so look at the shipping options while placing your order. Make sure you also print/save pages that display the $25 e-GC offer just in case you have to argue with Dell CS later if you don't get the e-GC within 25 days.

Two words.

Banana. Hammock.

So Doom Classic Complete comes with all the officially released Pre-Doom 3 content (Doom + expansions, Doom 2 + expansions, Final Doom (2 standalone expansions for Doom 2)

and Doom 3 BFG comes with Doom 3 + expansion and everything in the classic pack minus Doom 2 Master levels and all of Final Doom.

Ugh. so you either miss out on some content or you double pay on a lot of the classic content.

I should probably buy one or the other, but now I don't know which one. Thanks.

I played Doom 3 BFG and the classic levels that came with it.  It just depends if you want more of the classic stuff or do you want just some classic stuff with the newer Doom 3.

I'm rewatching Heroes from the beginning. The first season is damn good. It's too bad they got such a bad break during the second season and lost so many fans despite a decent third and above average fourth.

That's pretty nice that they added a fairly recent PS3 release to PS Now. Sure, most people probably won't want to play it, but it's a nice touch by Sony.

I can't speak for anything after S2, but S1 still is probably one of my favorite seasons of TV of all time. Especially for network TV.

I did like the fist season of Heroes. But once I found out what was going on I lost interest. I like the mystery surrounding these type of shows then once its revealed I get bored with it.

I have no idea what your definition of "fairly recent" is, but I'm pretty sure you'd have to go back in time several years to make a comment like that.

I dont know what this means...
His link didn't go to the right page. The CAG auto refer fucks it up. Godwin's law (or Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies) is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1" — that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Hitler or Nazism.

Okay, I thought that was the Love Max version of Arcana Heart 3, not the regular one. So I stand corrected.

...
Or maybe I am a time traveling wizard who got stuck in the future. I do still only have a PS3 after all.

Really? I agree that the hype is usually much better than the reveal, but in the case of S1 for Heroes, I thought their reveals were pretty good.

The reveals were great. But after that I know what they do and why they are there for the most part so I lost interest. It probably didnt hurt that the show was clearly going downhill at a certain point.

Yeah, I stopped watching Heroes after the second season. The fact that they changed some of the characters so much during the time skip (the cop lost his job, the flying guy got depressed and grew a beard) made me uninterested in continuing. Also, that odd way that the season ended just made the main storyline feel pointless.

I mean, who's gonna believe that someone traveled to the future and left their romantic interest stuck there?

I remember at the time there was lots of press saying they wanted to be the anti-Lost by not stringing mysteries out for so long and give the viewer answers sooner. I can see arguments for both sides of that storytelling coin, but I'm obviously a Lost apologist and like their method better, even if it did get frustrating at times.
