Heroes got too big and lost direction. It was clear during season two that the writers were setting up for something big, but due to the strike and the lack of episodes to complete their vision, they had to rush everything and almost nothing worked out that great. You can see the changes during season three a little bit where they try to scale it back some, and even more during season four. But by that point, it was way too late.

I just found my paradise. This is about 10 minutes from me when they open this month. http://www.gamepreservehouston.com/

I like the blood spraying and staining the walls in Bloodborne, but I really feel like there was a big opportunity for them to show physical damage on enemies and they didn't deliver there. Not sure about he camera distance, either--a point during the last fight had some issues with that. Not sure if those are due to being an unfinished build or if it's going to happen consistently when fighting large monsters.

Wish Club Nintendo would come back online so I could at least check how many coins I have. I'm not super interested in most of the physical rewards, but I want to check how many coins I have for the digital games. Ideally I have enough for Super Mario 3D Land and the NES Remix. If not I'll just grab NES Remix and an oldie for Wii U. Sucks I just bought earthbound though would have been nice to save the $10.

Was able to log in. 360 coins! Now just need to convince my kids we should get Earthbound....

Part of the problem is the player had two options to focus the lock on during the boss fight, the head and the chest, but he kept locking onto the head so every time he would get close for melee the camera angle is craning up too much. My guess is you are only supposed to switch the lock-on to the head when firing your gun.

No one told me Mordor had a Battlecat mode! I still have no idea what the game is but it is a lot of fun. It's so weird I don't even want to boot it up for some reason and then when I do I don't want to stop playing it.

Yeah I can't find a workaround. Annoying.
Quote Chewy's post and copy and paste the link in it into your browser. It's what I've always done when CAG screwed up a auto refer to Newegg.

I should add, I am in text only mode when doing that.

NM the capital F on the f bomb fucks up the link.

At that distance wouldn't they of had better success handing the ball to a player, picking him up, and throwing HIM in for a touchdown rather than going for a pass? Is that even legal?

I liked heroes a lot back in the day.  I'm sure my brain is just being selective and ignoring some of the stupider stuff that they did, but shows like that are never going to be all gold.  I give a lot of credit for ambition (one of the reasons I like Lost so much), so I really liked what they did in season two with the previous generation.  I also liked Sylar's arc over the course of the show.  The real problem was that it was obviously NBC's answer to Lost and while the first season was really good, that first season finale was a big letdown.  Doubly so compared to the third season finale of Lost which was right at the same time.

Its cute when someone who doesnt have a clue tries to talk about football/sports.
True enough, but it also drives home the point that if someone that doesn't watch the game knows that you just pound the ball into the endzone, then how the hell did Pete Carroll not know this?

..."Probably"? :shame:
It is definitely Top 5, but I don't know if I can go #1. I always go back and forth between EB, FFVI, Xenogears, Chrono Trigger and Suikoden II. At the end of the day though, I don't think I can say any one of those are definitively better than the other.

They should've built a human pyramid, handed the ball up to the top, and then shifted all their weight forward so the person on top would fall over the defense, ball in hand. Easy score.

We all know he should have run it. But this is the same guy that went for the TD with 6 seconds at the end of the half when most everyone would have settled for the field goal. At the end of the day it is real easy to sit up here and second guess everything.

Too bad they didn't get on fire beforehand, but you think they could have at least used some Turbo to make the play.

*all my knowledge of football is from NFL Blitz*

Joystiq does this thing called 4 For February where people state 4 games to beat during the month. It's just a friendly competition to strike at the backlog. Anyone wanna join me? I had fun doing it last year.

No, Flying V was the way to go.

Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest V, and Final Fantasy VI are all the best game of all time.
Secret of Mana was better than CT and FFIV was better than FFVI. :shame:

Haven't played DQV. I'd like to. Which version are you referring to? The original SNES, PS2 remake, or DS remake?

How does it work? Same games from each person, each person names their own 4 titles, or the other person picks 4 titles from the competitor's backlog?
