Okay? I said they had a "chance" to be remembered as "one of the best". Going undefeated in any era is quite a feat and if they do it they will have played a lot more than just the SEC. As far as one-and-dones, I can't control how the league has evolved.

And all of this is beside the fact that in a thread full of so much bullshit, I'll post about whatever I want.

Imagine how good that 09-10 team would've been if they had all stayed together. Holy shit. Wall, Bledsoe, and Cousins. They might've had 3 titles if they had all stayed 4 years.

This, it's more a reflection of the shitty way Metacritic shapes the development/publishing side and how the need to be the first on Metacritic shapes the critical side. That shows the combined problem perfectly though. I love that Polygon is willing to go back and change scores as issues arise or a game is fixed but they should never have given that score to begin with.

It's like in another thread a few weeks back (pretty sure it was the XBL one) someone(s) were defending the outlets that gave Halo MCC 9's because that's what it will deserve when it's entirely patched and functional. Kotaku may have little to no credibility in most regards but they've been one of the first, and still few, major outlets to get away from scores. Joystiq was going to do the same but like a week after they announced it AOL lol'd at them.


Have you registered Wii Fit and America's Test Kitchen yet? If you can find ones with working codes it's $1 each and you should get 110 and 30 coins after post play surveys. There's also three free games that give 15 coins each with post play on 3DS (Pokemon Bank, Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, Steel Diver Something Something).

They don't have an Anthony Davis, but they have more depth which makes it easy to recover when one or two are having an off night.

I beat the rest of them. And I was pissed about the Paperboy ending. I also ended up beating Tyson at some point by decision.

BAlls. I guess there was a code to unlock hard difficulty right away in Guacamelee STCE. Woulda been nice to know before I started. Guess I'ma just speed run through hard mode.

 
Noticed in Liberation that when replaying DNA missions for collectibles that each collection triggered the little save symbol. Hoped that meant the collectibles are saved separately from missions so I tried abandoning the mission about halfway after I collected what I was after.

Zimm - I think you've got me beat on Monster Bash. I tried a bunch more and keep topping out in the 800 millions. Not giving up yet, but that is a tough score to beat.

 
Wow, you guys I really effed up.  I didn't realize that would leave me at 999.  I could have stopped and gotten something in another game so 1,000 was a plat. :wall:

well I watch the hot dog eating contest, #likeZimm'spromnight, on espn every year. Everyone who is anyone knows the smaller the person the more they can eat I mean -- duh!

 
Dust is now platted--14 hours of pure awesomeness and the most fun I've had playing a game since Just Cause 2. I want a sequel sooooooo bad.

Next up in my 4-for-February: Infamous First Light.
