The snow has slowed down here, but still coming down. It's going to be above freezing for some 24 hours starting around 8 PM tonight, then it's going to get cold again.
 
Would I miss out on any big story things if I did U:GA before U3? Kind of want to start it up so I can take advantage of this Near crap before it shuts down, but I don't want to have the story out of order or whatever else.
 
Dear Diary,

I'm only about a fifth of the way through The Darkness, and I don't think I'm going to finish before March. Why does work take up so much of my time? How do these other people finish 8 games in a month? Do they sleep at work and game all night? Have they sold their soul to Lucifer for powers to manipulate time? I must find out the answer quick.

Also, I can't keep up with this thread. Nearly 1000 unread posts?! Again, these people must have some voodoo magic on their side. Maybe they post while they game while they have kinky bed action? If I found out their secret, I will surely be ahead, as that last one doesn't ever happen to me.

Work has been great. One advantage I have over most of these people is I actually like my job. I will admit, I wish I was like that pitfall guy and won the lottery. No job might be the only other way to keep up with everything without resorting to sorcery.

P.S. One of our clients at work took a picture of a picture and submitted it. That was facepalm worth.

just finished Resistance Burning Skies. Pretty fun game but its dumb they have so many upgrades but limited to only 2 at a time. I didn't plat cuz it's a rental and I couldn't play online, but fun game. Im gonna try to do some more warframe today I guess.

so yeah cleaner, im done with my 4 for feb. I still need to play more warframe, but Im pretty sure its free to play indefinately. Ill try to 100% by end of month, but idk. that was fun.

 
If you like the Portal gameplay and can put up with a relatively dumb story line (so far at least) to go with it, you should definitely pick up Magrunner for $1.50 before Tuesday.

It looks like it might not be that much longer than The Order, but it is pretty much all good gameplay.

It has a rather thin mouthfeel with just regular carbonation. The flavor is always good but that extra thickness from the nitro really helps it out.

Finally was ready to get 1st place in the speed race in most wanted that would finish unlocking all the mods for a car and the game crashed. Good one, criterion.
 
Need some opinions on buying stuff from the PSN sale.

Olli Olli for $2.60 a good deal? Is it about the same as the last time it was on sale? I just missed getting it last time since I misread when the sale was over.

Muramasa dlc worth it at $7.49? Sounds like people liked it. Not sure if I should wait and see if it gets cheaper, but I think the game was one of my 4 for Feb so I might play it soon.
 
Took the PS TV back to RadioShack for $44 profit. I bought it for $65 shipped and they gave me $109 for it. I gave the guy the receipt but for some reason he refunded the current amount instead. Dunno if he didn't know how to change the refund amount or if their system doesn't allow it, but I'm not going to complain about it.

Olli is definitely worth $2.60. Very fun game. Great Vita fit.
 
I love when I get thrown into an Iron Banner match on a team that's down 9k to 5k with 8 minutes left and I end up leading the team in points and kills, have a 3.33 k/d, and we win. Then I get the Radegast's Fury as a reward. 

I'm so awesome at Iron Banner.

 
Got the The Order plat as well.  Didn't use a guide the first time so took about 2 hours of cleaning up collectibles, it really wasn't too bad.

Honestly, the game was good.  Better than I was expecting.  Better than the reviews.  I'd hover somewhere between a 7-8 for a score.

Pros: The game looks amazing, the gunplay is fun, the story is simple and interesting, characters are understated but I liked them.

Cons: Starts out WAY too slow (game doesn't get going at all til Chapter 5), lame ending, didn't dabble enough in the supernatural areas of the game (especially the scifi guns which were fun), not a whole lot of content for $60 price tag (no coop, no MP, not even any trophies that encourage replayability).

 
According to my Twitch past broadcasts, it took me just over 8 hours to beat the main game on Normal.  So probably about 10 hours for me for platinum.

 
i'm never going to go against my gaming urges again. if it's something i want to play at the time, i'm just going to play it. regardless of any side contest or w/e going on. that flash sale ruined the rest of feb for me, along with diablo, cause i just wanted to start monster monpiece. which is great btw, very simple to pick up and play.

 
Do you ever wonder if what you perceive as the color red is what everyone else sees? Maybe what they see is what you call green?

Papo Y Yo 100%'ed,

it's a little silly that they don't unlock the ability to get collectables until you finish the game for the first time just to pad out the run time. In the more emotional cutscenes they take the hat off your head anyway so it wouldn't have been a distraction. They kinda lose track of the metaphor by the 75% mark (using the power of anger does something rather strange for example), but overall I enjoyed the narrative. Most of the puzzles are pretty simple and I never encountered any glitches.

2 of 4 for Feb down, Binary Domain still downloading so on to Stacking.
