Sounds like a great idea to me.
It's great in the sense that I love Final Fantasy music with a passion.

It's bad in the sense that I can tell it's basically rhythm-game crack, even more so than the first Theatrhythm, so it might/will affect my Vita game playtime.

It sounds like I should make the game I start tomorrow be Uncharted GA. Strike while the iron is hot.

I am surprised so many people need so many bounties. The trophy sites seemed to claim that the latest patch fixed the issues with bounties. I guess that isn't really the case, or I misunderstood and it was some other type of issue.
To echo Keeper, it's not that the bounties are hard to earn so much as most of us hear "easily-obtainable free swag!!" and come running. If it cuts down on a couple hours of grinding all the better. I'm a sucker for daily login rewards in games like Destiny of Spirits, Tekken Rev, Soul Calibur: LS, etc. Even if this wasn't mutually helping everyone round out their bounties I'd still be checking it frequently for the fetishes and whatnot.

Cleaner you can mark off The Order for me in addition to Road Not Taken.

Just don't go into the DLC menu if you're going to easily cave to buying stuff. Last I looked there was around $50 worth of DLC and they added some from non FF Square games since then.

Bullshit, the only gold trophy for Stacking is for the DLC. even beating the base game is only a silver.

Stacking, 3 of 4forFeb down. I stand by my hipstery LEGO game description.

Instead of standing on pads to get new suits with powers, you jump inside of a characters (who are all Russian nesting dolls) to gain their unique ability. It's set in an early 1900's era so the cutscenes are all shot silent movie style with flapping "lips" and then a text card to state what they said, but paradoxically also like a live stage performance of a play (in which you would be able to hear what they were saying), but then when you actually play the game it looks like real-life...except with sentient Russian nesting dolls.

Too many layers of nesting dolls, to solve the puzzles you never really need more than 2 or 3 other characters, but the nesting dolls can go up to 6 layers thick so you waste time looking for filler dolls so that you can puff up big enough to inhabit the larger character you actually need to solve the puzzle (kinda like the Katamari Damacy mechanic of growing in size to pick up bigger objects). I would say 90% of the time the first doll you jump into to puff up in size is meaningless.

I also hit a few logic errors with the puzzles. In one puzzle they want you to inhabit a mechanic to turn off a machine to lure a steward away from a horn, but instead I inhabited a character that had the power to slap the shit out of people. I slapped him until he started chasing me, then I hopped out to blow the horn, but the game still thought the steward was standing there despite him being 20 feet away.

You CAN defeat a boss by igniting a fart with a blow torch though, so there is that.

Decided to take a quick break from Far Cry 3 tonight and knocked out a 100% in inFamous Festival of Blood in one play session. That was a damn fun romp in vampire land.

Cleaner, can you mark that down for a bonus game for me please?

FoB is the funnest Infamous game so far IMO.

Bounties are still a grind in uncharted. You will get a few just playing but I had to grind two even with jimbo packages from near. It's just a lot quicker now apparently. I spent about 2 hours grinding. So without near it probably could have been 3 or more.

Helped a friend do this on his PS3 a year ago. I might be wrong but I THINK it was case sensitive or something stupid like that. Is the folder name UPDATE in all caps?

Although this link seems to indicate the folder structure should be

http://www.ign.com/wikis/playstation-4/How_to_Perform_a_PS4_1.5_System_Update_with_USB

\PS4\UPDATE

Maybe try that as well.
Thanks for the tip. I finally got it after reformatting my thumb drive to fat 32 with 500 watchacallits. Did that after reading some random posts on the problem. The actual Sony site didn't say shit about trying that.

Oh, I'm fully aware of those. I'm not looking forward to picking the ones I would prefer, as I'd rather not buy all of them.

It didnt take long to get all the collectable trophies in First Light.  I played a handful of story missions too.  Love the fact that you can run through all the roofs now and dont get hung up on any overhangs or anything when you run up the sides of every building.  This is the first open world I can remember where I dont think I need a fast travel system because you can run or fly anywhere so fast.

I think I'm at the end of the order, somehow missing the kill with all weapons trophy so that'll be fun to find. Hopefully I can finish it in the morning and get it to bby before they realize that two thousand other people traded it in over the weekend.
I am now part of the extremely exclusive the order 1886 platinum club. I don't have anything to add that hasn't been said, but I did enjoy it.

The weapon I missed? The regular grenade.

So 3 out of 4ForFeb down. I think I'll consider most wanted 'done' if I can finish the most wanted races, so I'll be plugging away at that until March.

I keep playing it in spurts. Played a little this weekend, finished up the running around chasing the light balls. About halfway through the story I think. After that only have to do the arena stuff.

I played some of Shadows of Mordor. What a fun game that is.

So all this fiddling with my hard drive upgrade means I wasn't able to put anymore time into The Order (think I'm at chapter 9). I think I'm going to trade it in without beating it at this point since that Best Buy value could drop at any minute and I'm not especially liking what I played so far. Maybe some day I'll pick it up for a few bucks and finish it (perhaps in preparation for a MUCH improved sequel).

Dear Diary,

When I woke up this morning, I thought to myself "Marcos, I would really like to hear some piss-poor ear-piercing amateur public rap and singing today.  Luckily, this dude on the train could tell what I needed, and proceeded to rap/sing along out-loud to his music the entire train ride between St. Paul and Minneapolis.  He totally gets me, ya know?

I was supposed to start First Light, but instead I found myself playing Kick & Fennick on hard difficulty and getting all the power nodes and gears. The first 8 levels this isn't too hard, but I'm stuck a bit on level 2-4. I found the special gear, but I can't find the last power nodes. No doubt will try more tonight.

WARNING! WARNING!  FOOTBALL TALK INCOMING!

At the scouting combine this weekend both Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota killed it.  Jameis better be the Bucs pick.  He has the pro style arm and played in a pro offense.  He has shown he can read defenses which is the #1 thing pro QBs have to do.  He is also a leader on the football field.  He also is apparently really smart on the football field and in the classroom too.  He just needs to mature and the Bucs need to hire someone to shadow him and mentor him to keep him out of trouble (and Mons Venus).

I am SOOO EXCITED!

Odds for tyler buying it?
Probably zilch since it's a Japanese-developed game with no UI, tutorials, or even text outside of a sign in the background in the opening of the game. The U.S. publisher (NIS America) sold physical copies on its online store--$19.99 for just the game, $29.99 for a Limited Edition that added an artbook, soundtrack CD, and "collector's box"--and that's the only way you could get one. Otherwise you have to go the digital route.

There's a review up at Destructoid: http://www.destructoid.com/review-htol-niq-the-firefly-diary-287859.phtml

That score won't deter me from playing my copy once it arrives.

How the fuck do you even pronounce that?
From the comments on Destructoid's review:

It's actually fairly straightforward if you know Japanese. Romanized, the game's Japanese title is pronounced "Hotaru no Nikki". The uppercase letters in "htoL#NiQ" correspond to emphasis (i.e. the uppercase "L" is a stress on the "ru" sound in "Hotaru"), and the "#" symbol is a common stand-in for hyphens or dashes, which are verbalized in Japanese as "no".
But yes, it is super-stylized. This is basically the equivalent of leetspeak or "THI4F" in terms of titles.

You just reminded me of those No Fear shirts from the 90s.
Hell yeah! NO FEAR. Loved seeing that on so many red neck trucks over here.

I have said so many times before that I am very unoriginal. Which is why I wasnt as good at drawing good dick pictures like everyone else on the Munky stream the other night. Plus I dont like dicks as much as everyone else.
