Wait...yeah, that's right.

I need to play some of my bullet hell games. IIRC Soldner-X is supposed to be hard as fuck , though.
my son beat it the other day. I think it was the 2nd one. He called me in and it was all in german. He is getting too good at games.

I had to fool around in the menus for a bit, but was able to get it back to english.

At approximately 4:30 am, I finally finished Dying Light. Mixed emotions on this: by far my favorite next-gen game is now over but then again I did finish it...

Guess now I go Resident Evil. Now if only I could find that damn helmet key...

Don't worry guys It's going to be a MEGA day today:

I love old school shooters and twin sticks, but I just couldnt get into Soldner X.

It was probably too hard for me. #commons
Oh, I also noticed I have and played Soldner X2 so I may try playing it again on Vita just to rub it in all ya'lls faces!

#inyoface!

Alright Helldivers, we on for tonight? I already saw that Chewy and Mild are down. I haven't leveled up much since playing on Tuesday. Hopefully I'm still able to hold my own if you guys are a much higher level than me.
I didn't play last night, so I'm where I was the night before. And yes I'm playing!

If you're gonna parody the song, play the actual damn song instead of changing one or two notes per riff and pretending like you didn't. I hate when they do that. We know what song you're playing. Just play the damn fucking song. Parody laws should cover you if you're not selling anything.

I'm too tired to look into the specifics, but apparently Tim Schafer made an offensive joke and it looks like the Twitterverse is outraged.
He looks more and more like George Lucas, complete with mutant neck, every time I see him. What the hell is #NotYourShield anyway? I try to read about it and my brain zones out.

I really, REALLY hate when your talking to someone and they speak over you and KEEP TALKING over you like they dont even hear you speaking already.  Either you are a fuck ing retard or you are deaf.  So why the fuck am I talking to you?

Want some developer having a four hour panel for GDC that we were expecting some huge announcement out of? The other stuff reminded me of that but I have no idea what or who it was.

Maybe they had to do that to avoid getting sued by Metallica? Just guessing. Isn't Metallica a sue-happy band or something?

Comments on Oreshika from another board I frequent:

I pulled the trigger on Oreshika and it's pretty great, if you're one of the people that loved persona 4 but feel the vita hasn't really had a good jrpg in the same vein since, I highly recommend it.

The combat is turn based, with a front/back row mechanic for both your party and the enemy. There's a good variety of skills that you're encouraged to use based on enemies elemental affinities and placement. Dungeon exploring is mostly a standard affair other than the limited amount of time you have. Raiding is the best way to get spells, weapons, armor, money, devotion and unlock classes. From what I've found there are 3 mini bosses per dungeon that open up more gods for your use.

The gimmick of the game that sets it apart from any other well designed jrpg is that your characters die after 2 in game years, so one you can take them into battle you need to be very strategic about how you allocate your time raiding, participating in tournaments, breeding and resting. Once your character is around 1 year old it's a good idea to breed them with a god, which creates offspring that (at least so far for me) are exceptionally more powerful than their parent. Once your characters die, which can happen either of old age or mistakes while raiding they'll pass down all their equipment including unique heirloom items that level up as they're used.

There are so many other cool little mechanics in this game I can't elaborate a ton on - if you spend too much time breeding and don't clan members into a raid they can become disloyal, leave and take some of your items/money, there's a bit of a town building mechanic with a bunch of options I haven't explored since I put all my money into weapon/armor shops, you can build shrines to worship specific gods that I haven't messed around with a lot, there's some semblance of multiplayer where you can share qr codes and breed your clan members together? There's a lot going on and I'm excited to do more
Sounds cool.

Sounds cool.
You frequent another board? Heretic.

It does look great and everything I've read about it has been positive. I don't see myself buying it before a sale though simply because I just bought six other JRPGs for Vita and I was already insanely backlogged on them.

Sounds like an insane amount of content for only $20. If they had release a couple weeks earlier, I might have splurged on it. March is too deep though. I'll definitely buy it on the first sale it gets.

I quoted from pages back but then lost it.....

I think Pharm said: something about mocking my band...

I don't know if anyone ever listened to my band...only 1 or 2 of you guys gave real criticism (or maybe everyone just hated it lol) but our spotify link is in my sig. At least listen to Velvet, Smokestack Thunder, and Bang It Up.

I'll take a listen after my meeting here, but why is your album split up into 4 discs with 3-5 songs each?

Gator,

A German Biergarten near me is going to have the owners of St Bernardus and Saint somewhere breweries in house next Wed for Tampa Bay Beer Week.  I made up my mind already.  I gotta go.   $25 for beers and cheeses?  Yes please!

EDIT:  Damn, I always forget this place even though I like their food and beer every time I go.  I looked at their draft and bottle list and they have a ton of Belgiums to try and others I would like to try like Stouts.  I might need to start going after work to try a different beer every night.  Before the wife takes all the money.

OlliOlli 2 is tough. I'm considering it done for MopUpMarch if I just manage to complete all the levels. Is that cheating? I just got to 3-1. Great game!
