Wilson may play out his contract this year. There was already rumor of that.

Then next year he signs mega deal.

Also have to sign Bobby Wagner.
That's what we are talking about Graham's big cap hit is next year, so do they cut him? what kind of dead money does that produce... what will Seattle do next year with Wilson...

So wait who is it costing the most? Seattle going forward... wonder how much if they cut him?
In year one it costs the Saints more. They pay him 9 million and the Seahawks pay him 8.

If they had cut him all the guaranteed money accelerates. They would have had to pay 16 million. (the 9 mil signing bonus number they are already playing plus total of 7 million in roster bonuses). At least I am seeing that is considered guaranteed money according to another article. If those roster bonuses weren't guaranteed it would be different.

And the Lions got Ngata from the Ravens in a trade.
Interesting, very interesting. Would rather have him really that Suh because Suh just didn't want to be here at any price. Wonder what Ngata's cap hit is compared to what Suh's would have been. If he's a good bit cheaper then all the better.

Not me punkaroni, just a handful of other Cartwheel peeps and 1700 other peeps at the HQ here.
Oh good. Sucks for them but good for you.

Add it to your cart. It's like you're new here.

What is with all these games that have DX in their name? What does DX signify?
Deluxe? They add it to the console versions when they port them from hand held.

Damn, I was close. I should have known there would be a cap website out there. That shit interests me more than the game itself.

Looks like it is a 1 year 9 million hit for New Orleans. With odd roster bonuses in his contract this year will be 8 million, then 9, then 10 over the next 3 years for Graham. Damn that seems like a lot even if he is a great player.

When you hear players the likes of Byron Maxwell getting 10 million a year, Jimmy seems like a bargain at 8, 9, 10 mill a year for a TE/WR. Especially for a team that isn't currently paying a lot for that position to anyone.

I guess we know how closely Eld reads the thread now.
I was on the phone with my bank at the time and just skimming. My card got suspended while trying to fund that stupid Czech BF Hardline pre-order which I've basically exhausted everything I can think of to pay for with no luck.

Who designs those incredibly shitty themes that they try to sell on the store? Does anyone buy them? The hippo one is amazing.

I am not sure where you are getting this from. His cap hit for Seattle will be 8 mil, then 9 mil, then 10 mil in year 3. There really is no large escalation for them. In fact, the huge roster bonus is this season. Otherwise his number would be 3 mil.

That all assumes the website I linked is correct.

So looking at Seattle's cap before Graham, it's 134 mill.... assuming Wilson takes 20... before graham they were going to have a hard time... now?

AAAWWWW YEAAAHHHH!

The Bucs resigned 4 of their own free agents! Just look at those names!

Wait, you dont recognize them?!? Oh thats because they are 3rd stringers who should be playing in the Arena league at best!

At least there are some reports that they are looking at Demarco Murray. Even though it has been proven time and again the last 10 years that RB go downhill fast at his age.

I am sure the Bucs will give him the biggest deal possible and he will be out of the league in 2 years.

Um, 9, and 10 mill is a lot when you have to pay a SB winning QB

I do not mean to imply I do not think he is worth those numbers. When I mentioned it being a lot, it was more in terms of wondering how in the fuck Seattle can add that kind of number in to what they already have without losing even more talent for it to work.

I would be in favor of Murray to the Bucs. Or some other floundering team that isn't the Cowboys.

The salary cap is going up. When you have bargain basement wide-outs absorbing one player at that rate is really not a big deal. He dramatically changes that offense. With his talent at that price, you will see other people leave Seattle before him now, IMO.

Also, as far as overall cap number. You have to realize they lost 4.5 million from the cap with Unger leaving. That is more than half of the hit from Graham.

I don't think Graham puts up nearly the same numbers with Wilson as he did with Brees.
Guaranteed Graham Catches the goal line slant in the SB.... Just saying, that was a play Denver ran non stop at the beginning of the with Julius Thomas and it worked every time. You only run that play with a big guy that can fight for the ball.

fuck ing football talk in March!

I mean I like football, but it's March!
I could say the same thing about baseball. They start baseball season in April when it can still be in 50s or even snow during a regular season game and then they end the season the same way!

And they don't have to pay a first round draft pick this year too. Granted the 31st pick doesn't typically get paid a whole lot, but it's something.

This is as good a time as any to check out for a while it seems. Hopefully will manage to get online in Helldivers tonight, but it's looking a little doubtful now.

If Seattle had WRs now that could catch a cold could you imagine how productive they should be.  With everyone paying so much attention to Lynch and Graham you would think the outside would be wide open.

Of course, that assumes they can still run it as well as they did without Unger.  I am not sure that is a safe assumption.

As far as Murray, unless you have a stud offensive line you would be a fool to pay him to bring him in.  He is not Adrian Peterson.  He will suck when he isn't running behind those mammoth mother fuckers Dallas has.  Same for McCoy in Buffalo.  He is going to be fucking awful behind that line.

According to ESPN Stats Info Twitter, the Saints only gained $2 million in cap relief for this year with the trade.
If you paid attention to my posts you would have known that :p

He is 9 million on their cap this year. If they kept him only 3 million of that 9 would be this year to go with his 8 million salary. So 11-9=2.

guys why aren't we freaking out? no store update probably means they're getting ready to cancel all free games and that there will only be a psnow release of bloodborne and also vita is cancelled.

retirements are kind of crazy too, especially willis from sf.
Think this might become more of a trend in the future. Play hard for 7-10 years and retire early before you body has gone to shit for the rest of your life. 10 years in NFL should, if you are a good player, set you up for the rest of your life money wise.

lol, this show. Girl is suckin off dudes with superpowers and swallowing their loads to see if it'll help her figure out her superpowers or some shit.

Ah. I can't quit you, PSNOT.

Flame Over doesn't have a single rating in the store yet. Metacritic listed reviews are mixed. I'll be waiting anxiously for your review, Zimm. I like the theme a lot and it looks fun. Price is right.

I missed this earlier, but isn't Bulaga the one that gets injured if you look at him funny? He is good on the rare occasions he seems to play.
He missed the second half of 2012 and all of 2013, but he was very very good last year, starting all but one game. Consistency is key of an O-line and this group meshed very well as the season went on.

All the Lions gave up for Ngata was a 4th, 5th, and 7th draft pick with only the 7th this year?  That seems like a steal.  For what Suh was demanding in terms of money they came out WAY ahead this way.

If Fairley would stop eating everything in sight and play like he did in college the 2 of them would more than make up for the absence of Suh.

Were you here the day I found a theme that was Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs just standing around with his shirt off?

Well here you go in case you missed it!
