We already know we don't have to buy it if we don't like it. We don't want our own Star Wars, we want the one he made first!

GL can do whatever he wants, but (apparently) what he wants is really, really stupid.

We'll, he wrote it, and was a producer but he was only the director on one of them. Should George Lucas next be able to issue special editions of Indiana Jones and make them the only version available since he created that character too?

I didnt. The current bluray is not the GOUT so I didnt buy it. My problem is I CANT BUY IT. They wouldnt make what I wanted to buy so had to resort to fan edits that took out all the SE shit.

HAHA. Come on man. He owned LucasFilm an LucasFilm owned all these properties yes? Therefore yes he could do whatever he wanted with his own property. Just like you can do pretty much what you want to your own house and other property.

I'd rather have Lucas's occasional tinkering (especially now when it's so easy to find versions without the changes) than Disney's upcoming yearly release schedule. They can and will drive that franchise into the ground, something I wouldn't have thought possible with all of the Star Wars merchandise from over the years.

 
I am kind of in the middle of this argument.  I think he should have released the original cuts on BluRay because that was what all the nerds wanted and he would have sold a metric fuck ton of copies.  However, he is also the creative mind behind the series and can do whatever he wants and put out whatever version of it he wishes to put out.

He did not need the money.  Even before Disney paid him $4 Billion the dude could already wipe his ass with $100 bills if he wanted to.  There is pitfall rich and then there is Lucas rich.  

All the rage amuses me.  Even though I loved the original movies, I essentially never buy any sort of media so I just do not care.  If he had released them, he would have more money that would equate to the round off error of his current fortune.

If you happen to have Samsung phones or Tablets, there is a lot of cool features you can use when you have one of their TVs. I thought the screen mirroring thing was kind of a gimmick at first, but it is awesome for showing pictures/videos of stuff you took with your phone.

If a game is just on ESPN3 but I want to watch it on the TV, start up screen mirroring and put the game on full screen. Works very well.

This song has a 80's feel but its so damn good. My friend is singing. If you guys want some good reggae/punk/rock/ska/dub/country check out Bargain Music. Unfortunately they broke up but damn this band was big part of my life growing up.

Dude sounds like Paul Stanley. And that's a lot of genre's crammed into that song. It was still pretty enjoyable though.

they cannot afford it , even the 20%. that is why brands like westinghouse are so probably. i remember trying to shop for tvs at target at few months back. they have almost as many westinghouse tvs on display as samsung brands

You should check out more Bargain Music as they focus on those genres. Time to Die is a great Metal/dub song. Most of their songs are stories.

The basement is really the family room in my house. It is where I hang out all the time. My wife had a 32" tube TV in the living room until we bought her that 48" one. Her TV died right after we had bought the 55" one for downstairs so we just went back to Sam's and bought another.

I am not rich, but I have enough money to be able to buy better brands of stuff when I am in the market. I find they are worth the extra money since they tend to last longer.

I think Gator also mentioned a vacation home in Gatlinburg, so he may be richer than Harry at this point. After all he drinks nothing but $5 a bottle beers and travels around the country drinking said beers.
