Finally, a post about sports that's actually interesting to me.

Add to the wall of shame for dumb trophy stuff I've done:

- walked off the side of a train in tekken 6's campaign mode like 200 times to unlock everyone's ending. Took an hour or more.

I really hope tekken 7 has a campaign mode too, I forgot how awesome all the extra stuff in tekken games is.
 
old man next to me is making on the cocktail waitress. that always cracks me up. i always enjoy them being friendly its nice, but dude she's only giving you the time of day for tips.

No, I've seen all of them. TPM had too much Jar Jar Binks, but AotC had too much melodrama and Hayden Christensen wasn't very good as Anakin (he improved somewhat for RotS). The Darth Maul fight at the end of TPM was also better than the Count Dooku vs. Yoda fight at the end of AotC.

TPM has at most, a tolerable 15 minutes in the entire movie. And most of that is the fight at the end.

Any scene with lil Anakin makes you want to blow your brains out.
The entire podrace segment is a good 45 minutes too long.
Anything at all regarding the Trade Federation is downright fucking stupid.

Yes the second had annoying Anakin/Padme scenes, but the rest of it is entirely watchable.
 
I wrapped up the AC Rogue story last night, working on some trophy cleanup today.  Still a bit undecided on if I'll go for the plat, though.

Nah, it was cool. I literally only played twice before, so it's not like I was thinking "these guys need to stop screwing around in here!" I mostly just wanted to get that trophy for having everyone in a tank on a Friday, so mission accomplished!

I used to have fan edits lying around somewhere that took footage from deleted scenes, recut the first two prequels, and changed Jar Jar's voice into a deep alien dialect and changed all his dialog using subtitles. They're actually quite good. I should try to track them down.

 
For extra bonus nerd points, you could pause it just before you get 20K, then wait and finish at 9:26, then it would be 3.1415926. For ultra nerd points, get it at 9:26 and 53 seconds for 3.141592653.

 
A GS I was at today randomly had a Mega Man amiibo in stock so I grabbed one. Did any of the thread regulars still

I'm going to make the unpopular opinion and say I didn't mind any of the prequels. Yes, JarJar was annoying as fuck and the trade federation was dum and young Ani couldn't act, but cranking up the pod race in the ol' surround sound was pretty awesome and battle of the fates is bitchin music.

AotC had some cool scenes and I liked those sonic boom charges or whatever fuck Obi fired or was fired at him. Some cool action, but yes Padme/Anakin love story was dum.

And besides the Vader birth, I thought RotS was pretty bitchin too. Granted I've only seen that like twice, while the other prequels have been seen 5+ each.

I look forward to your ridicule.
