invasion is just broken. The meter never moved, but some people could see the progress briefly when they logged in and at one point today the bar appeared nearly full. I suspect turnout will be decimated next time as a result.

Edit - it showed like 99% completed when I logged in and got the recap tonight.

I am always amazed that so many people think the only good pizza is "NY pizza". If it tastes good its good. It doesnt have to be NY style. I am not saying dominos is great here either, I just mean in general.

The best pizza for me in the bay area is a whole in the wall in Brandon, which is a suburb of Tampa. Everyone I know not jaded by "it has to be NY style" says its fuck ing great. I told a guy originally from NY about it before I knew this NY pizza thing was such a big deal. He took his family one night and they hated it. He told me it was awful "because it isnt pizza". Da fuq? fuck that. It tastes good, it doesnt have to be picked up and folded in order to be good pizza dammit.

Sorry Jimbo, not really meaning to pick on you directly here just using your post as an example. Being born and raised in a place that has so many transplants from NY can be frustrating sometimes as everything has to be like it was in NY or "it isnt good."

Millions of people drink Budweiser and think it is great. I am not saying you can't get a good slice anywhere but NY. I am saying Dominoes and other chain Pizza suck. On another board I frequent this comes up from time to time. Some people even dip the crust in Ranch or Blue Cheese.

I have had Chicago style pizza in Chicago. It wasn't bad but not something I feel the craving for too often. Which is a good thing I guess I don't get to Chicago too often.

 
Just ordered Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day from PlayAsia. Suda 51 games are so crazy and anything can happen during the story. Sucks we only got a digital version for the US.

Some Star Wars RPG had a book called the Death Star Technical Companion. It put the # of people on it over a million.

 
Pro tip for virtua tennis boosters, keep your vita power save at the longest (30m) so if you have to go to the bathroom it doesn't go to sleep and kill your whole game.

Yeah Jimbo and Therm, I am not even talking about Chicago style pizza.  Its like guys like you just get hung up on what something looks like and how you eat it.  I dont get that.  I just care how something tastes.  Then cost to quality ratio is when dominos and chains come into play.  Certainly not as good as mom and pops but have they have their place. You dont need to like them though thats fine.

 
vt boosting how to:

1. Setup a private clubhouse (player match - create)
2. Pick the first court, set to 6 games plus tie and 5 sets
3. Invite friend
4. Alternate wins and sets. Whoever is serving should win. Alternate tie breakers to make sure you make it through all 6 games/5 sets

At the end you'll get a decent amount of xp.

Edit - short version, if you're serving mash cross. If you're not put your vita down but don't let it sleep, watch it out of the corner of your eye. If the vita sleeps for more than a second, everyone loses everything.

It doesn't taste that great. Maybe if I grew up down South or out West or something I wouldn't mind it. My dad is from the midwest and loves Pizza Hut. But having grown up on good local pizza I just don't like Pizza Hut, Dominoes, or Papa John's. I have had all 3 in the last couple of years. Mostly because my niece and nephew liked it better and it was cheaper then buying pizza from one of the local joints and they liked those chain places better (and they grew up in NY). My nephew seems to enjoy local pizza places more now so maybe there is hope for him still.

I have two local places (I think 3 actually) that deliver. I am too cheap to tip so I go get it though. I don't think the local PIzza Hut delivers and I think we are too far for Dominos (Which burnt down actually about a year ago). Way too far for Papa John's delivery.

I have already said I have had Chicago style and occasionally eat frozen pizza. None of the frozen pizzas are really NY style thin crust. Not sure where I would get some type of pizza that answers your question.

Just not my preference. I won't go out of my way for chain pizza. I would probably try GodFathers or other if they opened up one nearby. I suspect I will not like them as much as the local place less then a mile from my house or even the crappy mom and pop over by the supermarket (2 miles away).

We have never tried Red Baron but buy a few other brands from time to time. Couldn't find a thin crust with the toppings we wanted today at the supermaket so ended up not buying a frozen pizza. We used to get either rising crust or thin crust but lately we prefer thin crust.

 
Gator, it is clear Americans can only drink craft beer with hops.  This unholy Trippel is like an IPA with how hoppy it is.  I assumed you didnt say anything because you knew this and knew I wouldnt like it but I got it anyway to support the tampa area brewery.  Oh well, good to try new things.

I had a Don de dieu and have a La fin waiting for me to wash this hoppy taste out of my mouth.

 
Apparently someone figured out that you could boost vt unattended if you could leave the game on for 2 hours (it'll auto serve if you don't hit X). So I'll leave my clubhouse open if anyone wants to jump in and I'll rubber band something to keep it on.

Honestly, I didn't know. I have never had anything from those guys. With that said I warned you about the American Belgian styles.

Man that was a lot of XP! Went up like five levels from one match.

Sorry about the beginningn forgot about the boost prodical I read earlier. Then my son thought the game looked fun while I was fixing the flickering PS3, so that's what those middle game challenges were. Good game though!
 
When I went to NYC last year I tried their pizza. It was good. But honesty I prefer the Chicago style pizza at this local place called Rocco's. Their food is amazing and I enjoy the pizza more than what I had in NY.

I believe Artichoke Pizza is the place we visited in NYC. Their slices were huge. We tried the meatball pie.

Also, I was running towards the final labs level exit in Flame Over and the devil came out of nowhere and got me. That's some fucking bullshit. So close.

Agreed. I now have newfound respect for the LFE Gun based on how useful it proved against the sphere bots.

I tried that Tripel I had got yesterday, I did not enjoy it at all. So disappointed, I was looking forward to it. It had a weird aftertaste going down. 

Gator, if I like wheat/blonde beers what would be a good one?
