Darksiders update: after turning in all the artifacts, I'm still missing one lifestone shard and one wrath shard. I hopped into each area and no other chests were showing up on the map, so I guess I'll have to follow a guide through each shard location one by one. I wish I knew someone who had written a collectibles guide for the game.

And those creepy random dudes in top hats that show up out of nowhere are ridiculous. They're hilarious, but they seem out of place for the game.

This Matt Hazard game is pretty bad too.  Graphically is okay for an older PS3 game.  Its got okay controls, but they just dont work well for keeping from getting hit a lot.  I am playing on the easiest difficulty and dying left and right.   Good thing there are unlimited continues that start you right from where you died.  Yeah thats right, literally the only way you can not finish this game is if you just quit cause its kind of bland.

But its real short so there is no reason to not just push on for dem commons.

EDIT:  Apparently most of the trophies in this game arent all that common.  Only the regular playthrough trophies are common and I have 3 of the 4 already.  Oh and RPG sent me a PSN message telling me one of the trophies was a pain to get.  So it must not be real easy right Stotch?  good looking out RPG. I should just quit now.

I think I value my time and stress level more than 99 cents.

Yeah it isnt for everyone but I like twin stick shooters. This isnt the normal twin stick but close enough and twitch action which is what I like. I was much more frustrated playing hardline because I hate sneaking around waiting for bad guys to move so I can kill them etc. Soooo boring.

Neither Matt Hazard game is worth the 99 cents if your not into the type of game a lot. But I would say the same thing about 90% of the flash sale games.

Played episode 1 Tales from the Borderlands on PS4 this morning.  Man they did a great job.  I wasn't expecting it to be this well done.  Just download episode 2.  Glad to see they added a bit more game play to it.  Digging the story as well.

I know no one cares but to me (games I played) these are the only flash sale games worth it at MSRP let alone a dollar:

Dead Nation

Pacman

Galaga Legions (maybe not MSRP unless $10)

Thats it.

And 2 of those are twin stick shooters so Pacman is probably the only one every gamer should buy.  Seriously Jeff, you need to buy that if you dont already own it!

Which one was the real buggy POS? The one on PS4 right? Probably should skip it though. Other the AC4 and AC1 I haven't finished / enjoyed AC games anyway. Also about done with Shadow of Mordor. Great game just not something I am good at nor enjoy playing.
Unity was the buggy one. Rogue is great--I've not played ACIV yet but I platted Rogue pretty happily. I've seen quite a few comments about Rogue being exactly like ACIV in gameplay, so if you liked ACIV I'd expect you to enjoy Rogue as well.

Zimm, I used the cartwheel app to buy some groceries for the first time this morning. Not sure why I never used it before. I think I forgot they have everyday items for 5-20% off. Saved a few bucks.

Oh and I saw PS4 consoles and PSTV cartwheel coups for 10% off.

#shamelessplug
I didn't think to look at it yesterday when I was at target and I bought my daughter some clothes that I now see had a cartwheel for 30% off, I could have saved $6 D:

Always check the Cartwheel. Use the bar code scanner to find out if stuff you're puting in in the app.

EDIT: mild'd

I don't know what the fuck I'm doing in Type 0. You guys were right about this piece of shit camera.
Yeah so far my only complaints are the camera and the lack of direction in between missions. There really doesn't seem to be any indication as to what's most important to do during free time. Most guides I've seen say "It doesn't really matter!" And then later in the guide "Oh yeah, this is missable if you didn't do x back in chapter 3."

I am going to try to get in the habit of checking cartwheel every time I go to target. I saved on nearly half of the things I bought today. Some was only a few cents but the app is so easy to use with one code for all your items. Plus the red card added with another 5%. I saved $8 from $48. Thats a 16.67% savings on the total bill.

Ninjad and I didn't know about the scanner. Awesome!

I bought Home and will probably play it during lunch and beat it so that'll make 3 for MopUpMarch. I'm gonna have to knock a bunch of small games out to continue participating which is fine.

hpb is pretty picked clean of cool game stuff, but check out this kickass joke book!

Does that include the e-guide whose code I sent you?

Gator I finally found a Belgian made in america that I like. The sixth glass by boulevard is really good. Still hoppier than the real thing but I guess the quads flavors mask it enough that it is still real enjoyable. So now I can get that as my quad and the LA fin for my tripel.

Incoming Disney Infinity 2.0 bitching:

made attempt #3 at the survival mode trophy last night, which is the only one left for the plat. Average time needed for completion is three straight hours.

First time I quit around level twenty (you need to finish 50) because I thought it saved your progress, which it doesn't.

Second time I fell asleep while playing around level 23, kept falling off an edge and died. Instead of putting a new character on, I accidently pushed hoop and exited out, erasing all my progress.

Last night I got distracted by something and got stuck in a laser until I died, then all the other figures I put on got killed mostly right away also because they were underpowered. Then I thought to use a second controller to revive, but then that locked it up so I couldn't move player 1 or pause or use the controller regular like for player 2. Finally just hard quit around level 35.

I want to just yell fuck that trophy like NC St fucked Villinova, but it has become my white whale.

That reminds me a little of Bloodranye: Betrayal, a lot of the trophies are pretty rare (between 2 and 5%) but they aren't that hard to get, people just don't bother for some reason.

Anyone here use one of those razor clubs?

harrys and dollar shave club are only two I know about, think im gonna give dollar shave club a try.
I've used Dollar for the last 3 months. I highly recommend. I've known about them for maybe a year, and now after using them, I wish I would have signed up sooner. Couldn't be easier. They email you every month to see if you want to add anything before they send you the blades. The shaving butter is great, better than shaving cream I think.

Also they will offer to send you small samples of their other products which then sold me on their repair lotion. Very cool company and good concept.

Yep. That was my primary source, but it ended up being so terrible with direction that I started looking elsewhere. Turns out other guides aren't that much better.
Thanks, that makes me really treasure the physical guide that much more.

I can't say I like how you don't technically pause the game when you hit the Options button. It's not an MMO, for crying out loud.

Really? I thought way back when it came out I read a trophy guide saying it was like an 8/10 difficulty. That being topped with the fact that it was a free PS+ game, those rarities seem right.

My favorite part of AC4 was the ships. So I am going to pass I think.

Sure glad i own them all on Blu ray. #comeatmejkam
All I want to do is just watch it once or twice so my kids are a little more familiar before we go to Disneyland.

(Although my daughter already recognizes Darth Vader and Boba Fett just from reading lego catalogs)

As much as you like wheat beers, you should give their Tank 7 a try. While it is not a Belgian Wheat beer, it is a Saison which is the closest style to a Belgian Wheat. That is one of very few beers I could see myself keeping in the fridge at all times.

Let's hope your next attempt does not have a power outage when you are on level 37 or so. God that sucked.

1 of the trophies is hard (get through a level without taking damage) and 1 of them IS damn near impossible (S rank all the levels) I don't have either of those, but all the rest of the trophies are not that hard and many have a low completion percentage, 3 are in my top 5 rarest trophies on PSN profiles.
