The easiest way to get the plat in TLOU is to playthrough 3 times.

any difficulty the first time through you want

Easy +

Grounded +

And then after you easy + playthrough you play backwards through Grounded +.  This allows you to have your ammo replenished each chapter and you never run out of items from your easy + playthrough doing this way... honestly knowing Gator and his skill, it would be pretty easy to do.  Hardest thing is the grind for the MP trophies.

I wouldnt mind doing a planet in Helldivers tonight just to get that trophy if it actually works.  Then I am going to start Bloodborne...or I will chicken out and finish the plat for Heavy Fire first.

Another reason to hate meetings around 12-1.  When you rush back to get to a 1230 meeting only to find out they canceled the fuck ing thing at 12!  fuck you lunch time meetings!

I'm looking forward to Jimmy's review.

"I enjoyed the balls bouncing."

"The balls bounce too much"

"Is this supposed to be tennis?"
Funny you mention it, he's the one that actually reviewed the PS4 version:

http://gamegravy.com/review/tennis-in-the-face/

Some highlights:

  • One of his pros is "multiple levels"
  • "You have to really think about your shot and have skills to take each one of them out so good luck on that, you really are gonna need it."
  • "Tennis in the Face has all the elements needed to keep you interested let alone having fun."

So is that Damascus Gear game for the Vita an SRPG or what? The screenshots don't provide much in the way of clues.

Regardless, I don't think I will be spending $15 on it.

Is this for PS3 or PS4? Or is it the same for both?

This might be a bad idea, but would it be weird to have something at the end saying how much the reviewer would consider paying for the game? I feel like I'll get more enjoyment out of TitF compared to anyone who might have bought it off-sale or for >$1.
Seriously, Shipwreck already did that in his reviews.

Beginner Bloodborne players don't forget to back up your save in the cloud. I'm sure the save is copyrighted just like the previous games.

Pharm don't be Shipwreck when you play Bloodborne.

I don't buy games in which I don't own the save.

Or, I don't know what this means.

i had always thought about putting a price point in my reviews, and then i never write any.

it's a hack and slash rpg.

I'm not the only one in the thread who'll be getting this, am I?

How is killing an animal in a game any different than slaughtering all those people in all the games you've played?
I felt horrible in Season 2 of TWD
when you had the decision to mercy kill the dog that was nice and friendly until it attacked you over the can of beans because it was starving and ended up impaled on a couple of tent poles

I dont condone killing animals (or humans), but hunting season is actually needed in most places.  It helps control the population of things like deer and bears.  Too many deer around and they just starve to death.

But elephants?

Because ivory is so valuable to some humans, many elephants have been killed for their tusks. This trade is illegal today, but it has not been completely eliminated, and some African elephant populations remain endangered.

I can't seem to craft a reply that doesn't make me sound like an asshole, so I guess I'll leave it be. My response to Vig had nothing to do with killing actual animals, because it seems he and I come down on the same side of the fence when it comes to that.*

I was just referring to not equating the killing of virtual humans to virtual animals, which seems like a weird stance to take, but whatever.

*As pharm stated, some hunting is needed to control overpopulation. They have a lot of controlled hunts for deer around here, and they donate all the meat to the local food banks.

Point taken.
I'm not trying to suppress your opinion or anything. If you don't like killing animals in games and want to discuss that, I'm all for it. I just think it's unrealistic to make a statement like that and then expect people to not want to debate/talk about it. And if you start the statement by saying you don't want to start something, you obviously know it's going to start something.

Just wanted to be clear on my statement. Yay for having your own opinions. Boo for expecting us to not want to talk about them in support/disagreement with them.
