Are the South Park pinball tables supposed to be on sale? I am thinking that's the case. Wasn't sure if $2.49 is the sale price. I guess I'll buy them for the tourney, but if they are going on sale later I'll hold off.

Yeah its 50% off. Thats the only reason I bought it . That and I like South Park so I will play that one with you guys.

 
How Afrika works is you have a base camp and then they email you missions there, how many at a time seems to fluctuate. There is also no fast travel to each of the zones, you have to manually drive to them each time, sometimes you have to drive through 2+ zones to reach the destination.

That wouldn't be so big a deal if you can drive out there and knock out several missions at a time, but you can only select one mission at a time. Some of them you can just complete without them being selected as long as you write down the type of photo you need or can remember it, but others are based on a unique encounter which only shows up when you have the mission selected. So for this particular zone I'm down to one mission at a time coming in through email, which is a little annoying.

So I got a bunch of random trophies in Borderlands 2 so far. Some of the harder ones auto pop if you have them and meet a new requirement. Like I got all the exploring trophies just for discovering one new location, and the challenges one for completing a random challenge.

I really shouldn't have quit in the middle of a DLC though, as I have no clue what's going on.

Also, I'm only getting like 400 xp from missions and I have no idea why. Shouldn't I be getting a lot more?

With all of the junk you have to buy with it and fees for selling on eBay/Amazon, you really aren't looking at much profit. At least not enough to justify the hassle of reselling multiple things.

i'm wondering if it works in reverse. if i play a lot on ps4, can i pop them that way on the vita/ps3 later. since we can actually go backwards with ours. otherwise, i'm probably going to start playing on vita now, and wait a little while for the handsome collection.

I got screwed with the bundle because of the digital games (didn't read the fine print) but I scored 2 vanilla systems in store as well. I'll return the physical games in store for $85ish back. Even if I sell the digital stuff at a loss of $20-$25 I should still make about $75ish on the system...which is cool in my book. I've been ebaying for quite some time...have it down to a science.

It's cool and honestly I don't do it all the time but kind of felt like re-selling a few of these, hard not to when the payday is $100+ per system. I used to be a lot more hardcore buying and selling; now I do it once in a blue moon. Most of my energy is in Vig flips these days and he kind of got me hooked on that :)

Plus I usually just give all the $$$ I make to Sony...and they could use it...so I'm doing a good deed in the end :)

 
I checked out the spreadsheet. Are you guys playing bioshock 2 or did that happen a long time ago? If so, I can come out of retirement to complete the bonus maps.

Sure there's dumb people who will pay a metric ton of money to buy something like that, but then there's the regular folks who just get screwed and don't end up with something they'd have liked. I don't hate Nintendo. My kids definitely don't hate Nintendo.

All they have to do is go to the store. I got one around noon and the 2nd in store one was at around 6pm. I do understand your logic as I'm not a moron but it's limited...offset by the fact that this system was already released once and pretty uncommon for something like this to get a re-stock. Did I take advantage of that? Sure but I also did my homework to find them in the first place with readily available information. It was posted on just about every gaming site. Everyone has a fair shot. The ones I got in store at least the 1st one was the last one so I didn't beat anyone over the head and there was no one else in the store. If there was a legit kid in there with his dad looking for it and there was only 1 left I'd fork it over.

I went to BB for the Meta Knight amiibo, I was the first person there and despite that...there being 4 people and 3 Metas I gave mine up to the 4th person (younger kid) who was obviously a diehard Nintendo fan. I'm not some heartless hell-bent scalper. I use common sense and when I can get in on a re-sell once in awhile I do it...so be it. I have a clean conscience.

Can't argue about it being unfair to the people that just want one. I think that the resell/flip life is dumb, but at the same time I'm grateful for it as it's the only way I've been able to afford gaming for a while.

My biggest pet peeve though is when people brag about their flips/resells in an overt way, I tried to keep it to a dull roar in the amazon trade thread but ultimately failed. I'll allude to something like the outrageous price ffxv codes were selling for, but I try to avoid blabbing about the fat stack I got for mine because who the fuck cares. And, in cases like this, it can really irk someone that's salty about missing out on an opportunity (to own or flip something).

#vigsflips are the shit though. 99% of the time they involve things no sane person would want being sold to a multi billion dollar corporation.

I'm not sure about the xp. I've imported three characters, but they are all level 72. So I haven't received any xp. Did the leveling-up trophies pop for you? If so, do you need to increase your level by one for that to happen? I can import Zero and take him from 60-61 if that's the case. I'm only a few trophies away from getting the platinum. However, I'm missing Tribute to a Vault Hunter. I hate that trophy. fuck Michael Mamaril.
