Speaking of not starting something, April's games with gold:
XBO: Pool Nation, Child of Light
X360: GoW Judgment, Terraria, ACIV Black Flag, Army of Two Devil's Cartel
Not too bad of a list. Can't wait for everyone to assume that the 360 and Boner are going to start getting 6 games a month and then flip the fuck out next month when they only get three.

Didn't realize you still needed a copy of Borderlands on PS3 to do the character transfer to Handsome Jack collection. Looks like I'm starting the PreSequel over again. Thankfully I didn't get very far.

FYI, it was already too late for my kid. He bought a red one after he couldn't get a MM one the first time round. We didn't expect another batch. But I'm talking generally anyway, not necessarily about my kid. Anyway, just a pet peeve of mine.

So the update the Vita got along side the PS4 also brings button mapping to the Vita!  This is really sweet because I should be able to invert the camera on some games I originally hadn't been able to.  Sly 2 specifically comes to mind.  By remapping the right stick down to up and up to down should invert it for me.  Going to test it out tonight.

Really sweet.  The PS3 really needs to get this update down the line too.  There are a few games on there with no inverted Y-axis option either.

Ugh you've been playing a ridiculous amount since your divorce.

I think you and your wife should reconcile. Are you really willing to give up on 10 years of marriage this easily?
Almost 10 years bro. ALMOST. And yeah.

So much happier since I filed. Like a 500 lb gorilla is only 100 lbs on my back now. Side effect is that I dont have to talk to her much anymore so I start playing games as soon as the kid goes to bed.

That's bullshit. You're not even thinking of HER feelings!

Why? Because resellers are the devil?

Remember when cag used to frown upon flip/resell talk?
I used to be in charge of the flip group on cag for a few years until they closed all cag groups with 3.0

i don't seem to have the time/energy to flip as much and the deals arent as crazy. it used to be that glitches/exploits were posted on cag alot more often, or at least people would tell me more about them. I remember 2 summers ago myself and a few cags made $1500+ at bestbuy with the spend 50 get 10 back deal exploit.

great times :)

now i sometimes frequent the main deals thread, but mostly just refresh this thread.

Going to Plat First Light at lunch.  Got all the challenges cleaned up last night except for the 10 million one, about 2.5 away from that.

Story stuff was great and played better than anything in Second Son.  I also loved that you didn't have to constantly refill your powers unless you want more rockets or something.  I would like to see them do away with that gameplay mechanic in the future.  Finding a smokestack is just a waste of time really.

The arenas were blah because all arenas are blah.  I'm assuming they're just an easy to make way of artificially increasing the content of a game.

Has this one been posted? It sounds like a steampunk puzzle quest. Definitely interested. Even more so if they say there's a vita version in the works.
I remember when galactrix came out and everyone who played puzzle quest thought it was bullshit. no real classes and the 'gates' were all wonky to open. that was a fail. iv always wanted to play the marvel puzzle quest, but never did. I think it is even freemium.

i played the hell outta puzzle quest tho. I even started over and leveled up without spending skill points til I got to a certain point and made an all red/fire wizard that would just dominate. That was a fun game. I love those puzzle/rpg mixes sometimes. ds for the win.

Steampunk and PuzzleQuest? Im totally down!

Speaking of old deals anyone remember the Gamer Gift Card @ BB? That one was pretty funny.
remember the physical coupons that you could use to get the games to ring up free? I remember going in the store, grabbing 2-3 copies of games, going to the register and walking away without spending a dime. Then i would go to gamestop/bbv or wait an hour and trade right back to bestbuy. They did this every month for a few games. I think it was their way of clearing inventory using cags/coupons :)

gcu and $10 back etc is nice, but I miss those days they would just hand out free money for us lazy flippers.

Hang on a sec, I thought MopUpMarch was for going back and completing older games you never beat. Why are people putting games they just got in the spreadsheet?

We have a theme, and if you'd like to partake, you can. But if not you can just focus on beating 4+ games from your backlog instead. For instance, if you don't buy a lot of digital games you'll probably have a hard time coming up with 4 for #AdaptationApril, I only had 2 disc games (Lego Marvel and Deadpool). I'd say the spirit of #MopUpMarch is to 100% 4+ games.

My Target still had the BOGO Value games promotion going on.

Picked up Lego Friends 3DS and Monster High Ghoul Spirit. Oh Yeah!

Had Lightning Returns and Lego Harry Potter in my hands until I realized I don't really need any more physical games.

Cashier was actually nice enough when I explained the sign and bin to give me one of the games for free after they didnt ring up that way.

Good point. The only obvious use I was seeing for it was to swap hoop and cross on imported Vitas.

Damn. Your wife is a 400 lb gorilla? I bet she could eat a whole medium pizza by herself.

Oh, yeah, Puyo Puyo Tetris messes me up with that O as your select, and X as your cancel/go back. Then after playing it a while I switch to a US game and I mess up and press O when I meant X. Though I'd really only want that change in the menus. In-game I'd want it like it was so rotation isn't switched too. That's no doubt impossible.

I don't have shit with 0% trophies. Most of the games I've started have at least one trophy. Went back and deleted Pain and Apotheon because fuck you Pain.

Da fuq? People really like down is up and up is down?

Weirdos.

So I'm at KU med in KC getting a drug screen for my new job and I nearly had to be committed.

I was supposed to go to room G110 in one of the student buildings. After finally figuring out that I had to actually go in the Nursing Education building first (not the building with the address where all the doors are locked), I started walking. I see G003, G004, G010, G015, then G003. I look behind me and I haven't gone in a circle. So I sally forth.

G020 ... G004 ... G035 ... G003 ... G004 ... G031 ... G004 ... G013 ... G003

I walked past two different sets of elevators within 10 feet of each other. Why would anyone build that??? Walked past the same girl like four times in one minute. Everyone's wearing scrubs, no one looks like the funny friendly black guy from scrubs the TV show so I'm scared to talk to them. I go up a floor, all the numbers change and it's 150 degrees. I go back down covered in sweat. Then I found a map. Phew! I'm saved!

It looked like the subway map for Paris.

Wait I'm going to go take a picture of the map

ugh this burger place im at has cnn on all the tv's with the plane crash story. nothing like super depression news to go along with a good burger.
