i didn't even play a mission this time. just wanted to see if a defend was going on. i'm not sure we have much of a chance with this happening in the middle of the week. seems they still refuse to make any kind of adjustments.
I really wanted to like it but the controls and/or combat just feels really weird for me.
They've got to be just killing themselves trying to get new content ready in time for the war to end so they can maintain their user base. They should've tied some of the cooler strategems to homeworld victories to keep people tuned in to the game. Or at least SOMETHING cool in the game for completing a homeworld/war. Such a strange lack of foresight since that's the entire game's point.
Once you get used to the controls you can fly around an abductor like spiderman which is stupid fun. They are really really weird though. If I don't play for a couple days I forget them completely.
I plan on combining that with the speedrun trophy. I've already died 5+ times on my 100% Hard Mode run.

June but that's still pretty dumb. Most F2P games just start basically giving out their currency towards the end so still trying to get people to buy it is dumb. Bet they're banking on all the people trying to get the trophies.

usually put it towards another release with a gift card to keep the chain going. a full price purchase to start, but $25 off a new game for however long you hold it is pretty good. their selection with gift cards hasn't been too bad so far either. that being said, i still haven't started a chain yet.
My thoughts exactly. I guess there are still some people who don't have GCU. Which is kind of hard to believe now that it's $30. I guess if you don't have a Best Buy within driving distance it wouldn't be worth it. I pity those people.

No worries. I realized this morning what I wanted to do I should be able to do with 2 controllers. Simmias and I helped each other level up all the other characters to the point where we could do all the finishers via co-op. We just couldn't help the other one do the same type of character we were using. I should be able to do the Ranger with controller 2 to get it done.
Try being in the 30s. To pass the 2 people above me it would take just about 3 full platinum lists worth of points without them getting any in the meantime.

It's interesting. I only did Act 1 yesterday, so I'm not too far. The story at the beginning was weird and a little confusing, but I was super tired so I probably wasn't the best audience for that. I'm excited to get more into the actual mythology now.
How are load times for you so far? That was my biggest issue with 14.

I really enjoyed Act 1 myself. Act 2 was also pretty fun. Act 3 was where it started to piss me off with the odd addition of enemies and the trophy for completing it in one run without dying.
I'm not terribly familiar with the whole Cthulhu mythology besides being mentioned in a Metallica song title and the squid like images that show up on TeeFury shirts every now and again. So not sure if that hurts or helps my story understanding/liking/appreciating going forward.
