If anyone got Home in the flash sale like I did and found it boring after 5 minutes like I did, there is a great walk-through in a forum post on PS3T. The guide is pretty damn useless really, so be sure to look for that if you just want it to be over and get all the trophies. It gives you a way to do only one full playthrough and an extremely short speed run (with some save file manipulation at the end) to get the 100%.

It seems very few in the thread have played MonsterBag. It is actually pretty fun and the trophies are all easy with the exception of one that has a time limit factor.
I downloaded monsterbag, but I apparently only play mortal kombat now.

As vig correctly predicted, cod black ops III is on the $10 rz cert preorder promo at bby. I don't think I realized mad max was too, I might go in for that.

Supposedly the Helldivers 1.04 patch is out, which includes getting your missing War 2 trophy:

Speaking of helldivers, it is apparently dead as a doornail now. They can't make any progress in the current war and keep getting knocked back once they lose the defend events. It was predictable but still a drag to hear. Hopefully when the free dlc drops we can get a group together for a night to try it.

I love Avalanche Studios' work, but they really should either delay Mad Max or move its release up a couple of weeks because releasing it the same day as MGS V is suicide.

Sweet pretty much cemented a day one buy. If only multiplayer was closer to BOII instead of AW, I would really be looking forward to it.

If only they made an update that gives us 9000 kills for free, I'd finally get the plat.

Still no luck on finding the Best Buy Mover's coupon but I'm still thinking of getting that Batman PS4 bundle from Best Buy anyway. The website says it will come with a Dual Shock 4 Charging Station at no extra charge.

Can you still use a cord to charge the controller like you can with the DS3?

Yes, you can, though the cord isn't very long. I play close enough to the console that doing so doesn't really affect anything.

Yes but it is a micro USB cable. The DS3 uses a mini USB cable. You can use pretty much any micro USB cable to charge the DS4.

Do you have any links to a good one on Amazon (unless that one is among the best options)?
There really isn't good ones or bad ones when it comes to USB cables. If you happen to want/need other cables, monoprice.com is a really good option. Especially if you have a lot of local friends who may all want cables since the more you buy of a particular kind the cheaper they get.

I have done $300+ orders from there a few times in the past with coworkers so that we were paying next to nothing in shipping per person. They sometimes even carry things specific to gaming like charging docks and such.

I mentioned Amazon because I'd rather spend Amazon credit, not cash, but thanks otherwise.

Just came to post that lol. Grabbed one, yes to tax but free shipping. Perfect timing for me, I had been looking at prices the last week. Ended up at ~82 which is under the before tax pricing on amazon currently.
How are you liking Axiom Verge? FYI, regarding one of the bosses you recently defeated:
If you waited a few seconds for the clone to die on its own, you would have gotten the Mercy trophy. I'm surprised that's considered Very Rare, as it's arguably one of the easiest trophies ever--do nothing.

I know I am definitely not the normal player, but it surprises me how many of you guys want/need the 64GB cards for your Vitas.  I have never come close to filling up my 16GB card and that is with huge titles like Golden Abyss on there even after I am done with it.

I can understand not wanting to try and deal with the headache of a 4GB card, but do you guys really go back and forth that much on what you play on the Vita?

In retrospect, I probably should have stuck with the 32GB card I had, but at least this way I don't have to worry about storage for...well, maybe ever.

Really enjoying it so far. I got lost a couple times though and had to look up a map to see what direction the next boss room was (keep forgetting what all the new abilities let me do). I looked at the trophy list right after I had finished that boss area. Gonna try to grab it if/when I go back for another play through, the game hasn't been too hard so far so getting back there shouldn't be a problem.

I'm pretty bad with digital hoarding, I like having everything I can possibly want to play available at all times. And then I do go back and forth between several games on top of it. I just had to delete a bunch of stuff off my 32gb to fit ratchet and clank, which I still haven't started playing because I got distracted by dragon's crown...

And to top it all off, I still prefer getting all my handheld games digital-- I don't like swapping out the carts. So little to no saved space there since everything has to be installed.

Nah, not really. Having the 64gb is a luxury, not a need. For example, I got a message from pancakes asking if I wanted to play umvc3. I didn't have to respond 'I haven't played that in over a year, I'll have to redownload so maybe tomorrow.'. I got to just jump right in. Same with uncharted ga - I'm not actively playing it but I can still participate in the near orgies since I never had to delete it to make space.

The vita is also my primary console by a mile though, so that makes a difference.

Thanks. Sounds like the PS3 all over again. Would be nice if you could change out the batteries like you could with an Xbox controller. If the batteries die on the Sony controller, it's pretty much worthless isn't it?

Yes but it is a micro USB cable. The DS3 uses a mini USB cable. You can use pretty much any micro USB cable to charge the DS4.
Terrific. Anytime I see an opportunity to go with Newegg or Monoprice, I take it.

I really wish there was an option, other than that grip Derek mentioned that I just dont see working worth a shit, for another set of shoulder buttons on the Vita. I love playing games on it, and it would work great for remote play if it had those. As is, even with some basic games like I have played on the PS4 (most recently Monopoly Family Fun Pack) the lack of L2 and R2 make it almost useless to me for remote play. If they fixed that, I would probably start complaining about L3 and R3 and still not be happy though.

Even as an owner of a Wii U, I am not a huge fan of the console. However, that large gamepad for playing sans TV is a killer feature. Remote play is so close but is just nowhere near the same experience, IMO.

Im with gator, I have a 16gb card and just download stuff as needed and delete stuff im not playing. With plus game save backup this is a non issue.

Fast internet for the win I guess?

I expected an awesome rant about corrupted game saves here. I am disappointed it went like this, but I am glad you are enjoying the game again.

I only have a 8gb card and it's constantly full (with all the ps plus free stuff, things from sales, etc). Vita is my primary console these days since I don't get much time with the ps3 anymore.

I use my bedroom PS3 to move downloaded Vita games to it for storage to free up space. That PS3 is 99% used to only stream or watch DVDs/Blu Rays so there's plenty of room on it

Same here. I think I have 10 pages of games/apps on my vita. Now with the 64gb, I can have 20!
I make bubbles and shove the games into them to keep everything on one page.

I know it's weird but I play almost all of my ps4 games via remote play and I don't notice the l2/r2/l3/r3 quirks so much anymore. Almost the entire mkx plat was done via remote play and button remapping (why they had block mapped to the touchscreen is a mystery, but they probably just didn't care). Same with the order 1886 and ac: unity. It is definitely a killer feature, but more so for someone like me where the choice is 'use remote play' or 'barely get any time with the ps4 ever'.

I'm also Team Want Everything You Own Available At A Moment's Notice Just In Case You Randomly Want To Play It Right Away Because Otherwise You'll Probably Forget You Own It At All and Team I Play Multiple Games At Once Because Im Scatterbrained

It hurt to use a ton of GS credit on the 32gb card, but it was the only way to get one and it's a necessity for me to have lots of space to put my  hoarded things.

I'm tempted by the 64GB card but I already have a 32. I tend to stick to 1 game at a time and try to finish it before moving on but I do have a good amount of stuff on the card anyway. It is nice to have a large collection of stuff ready to go. Not sure I can justify spending $75-$80 on something I don't really need.

You should have gone with the second choice.

As Gator has said they are all about the same. I do like ones that have a more protected female side of the cable better though. Something like this. Just seems like it would be a bit more durable if someone stepped on the end or something. Don't worry about getting gold plated ones or anything like that. I have one I bought many years ago for my PS3 when I had a cheap USB headset. Worked great for that as well as playing/charging the DS3. No idea where I got that one.

I rather deal with Amazon too since I usually have a few bucks credit there and last 2 years have had prime. I have used monoprice in the past and no issues with them either though. Personally not a big fan of NewEgg though as their cheap shipping takes too long from CA to NY. They have a distribution center in NJ but most of my orders seem to come from CA anyway.

Why do you guys get usb extension cables? I just bought extra long USB cables so I can play while my controller or head set charges.

I think I got 10 footers.

I actually kinda forgot about this lol. But I also discovered this weekend that my dragons crown save file has completely disappeared from my vita and apparently never uploaded to the cloud (or deleted off of there as well) so I guess I've moved on to different save related disasters.

Gonna assume the dragons crown one messed up when I switched from the physical cart to the ps+ download, but it still sucks.

In today's filing, Konami notes that 99.71 percent of the trading of the company's stock over the past year occurred in Japan and London.
Konami officials wrote that the company will still share financial statements and other information in english, though they will no longer be obligated to under the Exchange Act

Slightly odd note. Why wouldn't they be obligated to share in English if a substantial amount of trades are coming out of London? Seems like if they're going to be trading in the UK they'd have to have English copies of their info.

England may not have a regulation requiring it in English even if they are trading on the London exchange. The U.S. is always the strictest financial center.

The Exchange Act they are referring to is most likely the Securities Exchange Act which is a US reg.

Also, English is the world's financial language so it would be stupid of Konami to stop giving giving out their financials in English.
