I guess I am the only one who reads that and thinks they are doing smart things to save money and will likely survive longer because of it.
No you are right. There is no point in trading on an exchange that has no activity. Being listed in the US costs a shit ton of money.

Still doubt they survive unless they get new management and new game ideas.

Konami apparently makes most of their money from pachinko and mobile games in Japan, so it wouldn't really hurt them financially to stop funding bigger game projects.

Nah I agree. If they're doing the vast majority of trading elsewhere by all means save the 5mill. I just didn't realize they'd be able to stop posting financials in English if they felt like it. Definitely agree with Pharm on that though, it'd be stupid to do so.

But seriously, I love DDR. Going to hook up the FAT PS2 and break out the dance mats to mourn their pending doom. Maybe I should post a video… nah.

This guy gets it. Their video game business outside of the above isn't doing that great as I understand it (even for console games that are moderately succeaaful). True they'll probably survive for quite a while as they ax costs, but I'm saying that I wish they wouldn't so someone would do something with all their kickass catalog.

Do you mean?

The various color cards?

If so I kind of agree with you and wasn't even sure WTF I was supposed to be doing at times. I didn't care for the Hub design layout either.
Kinda sorta. I mean the levels you go to once you collect those. They were just sort of rushed in my opinion

Why do you guys get usb extension cables? I just bought extra long USB cables so I can play while my controller or head set charges.

I think I got 10 footers.
I bought the extender since I was going to use it with a cheap USB headset. The extender is more flexible. You can extend the DS3 charge cable, DS4 charge cable, usb headset or even use it to extend a standard USB printer cable.

Regardless of the actual situation at Konami financially it's more about the lack of vision for their games and the loss of talent that continues. I'd rather not see them limp along in their current fashion even if they aren't in "trouble". Doesn't Konami own a lot of gyms too?

Bayou Billy can save Konami. Bayou Billy I say!
I remember playing Bayou Billy on my friends' parents' big projection screen non HD TV back in the day. That thing was so dark and shitty but we loved it anyway cause it was the only way to play a game on a large ass screen.

I mean the game had Double Dragon style beat 'em up levels, driving and shooting levels, and light gun on-rails levels. How that game didn't win every award for the rest of eternity continues to baffle me.

Cool, I didn't know that. I wonder if they were trying to make DDR a core fitness concept or something. So weird.

I remember when I got my first 27 inch TV.  Damn that thing was huge!  For many years all I had was a shitty 13 incher.  Long live big ass HDTVs!

This is the first result that Bugles gave me for "Bayou Billy gif":

Is Russel Wilson a time traveling video game shiller?!?!

27inch is not big, smallest I have is 50.

#mineisbiggerthanyours
I was referring to my childhood. I should have quoted my post about Bayou Billy as I was thinking of that time period when I was a kid.

I do only have a 40 and 43 inch TV I mostly game on though so your still bigger. For now.

Frisky posted that Broken Age is going to be $24.99, but 30% off for PS+, so $17.49. I have this on Steam as I kickstarted it. It would be nice if I ever felt like playing a game on our computer (and even nicer had there been a PS4/Vita option in the Kickstarter).

Has anyone tried Rockstar Horchata? I just saw it in the vending machine at work. I'm not a fan of energy drinks so I figure it'll still taste like shit even if it's horchata flavored shit. Sounded like a bad/interesting combo. They even skinned the can like the Mexican flag lol. I didn't buy it but wanted to see if anyone did.

Yes, you can, though the cord isn't very long. I play close enough to the console that doing so doesn't really affect anything.
No freaking way. I practically have to sit on my tv/console because the cable is so fucking short. I might have to invest in one of those extension cables.

Same here. I think I have 10 pages of games/apps on my vita. Now with the 64gb, I can have 20!
I'm too OCD about it. Use the bubbles man! I have files based on theme/genre. Then some of my favorite or newer games take up a single page before my couple pages of files on my 64GB memory card. Digital hording at its finest.

We're not all like Gator where we can completely focus on a game, beat it and never look back. My games are abandoned and waiting for me to come home. Like that dog from Futurama. :(

Wasn't Konami looking great last E3, with the Phantom Pain being the main attraction and Silent Hills being a superstar collaboration? Guillermo del Toro was riding the Pacific Rim wave of awesome, Norman "I'm Darryl and can't die" Reedus and Hideo Kojima. How they managed to fuck that up and get in a power struggle with Kojima, who has kept them relevant on consoles 25 years straight, is bewildering. Now this E3, are they even rolling him out on press events? What a difference a year makes.

Any bets when Activision scoops Kojima and his team?

Really tempted to get one of the draft hats from this year. Love the skyline thing they did under the visor.

lol at the Green Bay skyline of "really tall bridge overlooking an industrial park on the bay".

Everyone knows the best view is in the other direction on that bridge so you can see Lambeau Field rising above all the middle class houses and trees like the shining beacon of success and awesomeness that it is.

What a crock. Now I see people are selling those 10% off Best Buy coupons on Ebay. Not spending $5 paypal on that.

However, if anyone here happens to have one, I'm willing to trade for a $5 Amazon code. Then I'll shut up about it.
