In case anyone wondered if I was being serious about needing a 12 step program when I posted yesterday, this will remove all doubt:  I am currently playing all 3 versions of Unfinished Swan at the same time so I will be able to breeze through it on consoles 2 and 3.  Play a level on one, then play it on the other 2 before moving on.  Somewhat surprisingly, it actually is working pretty well so far.  I am only on the 3rd chapter though, so we will have to see if it continues to work.

I'm a sucker for the yakuza series. I really enjoyed Yakuza 4 and Dead Souls. Dead Souls is almost like an expansion because it is the same locations as Yakuza 4, but they throw in zombies and you get to be some of the cool bad guys from the series. I really enjoyed it.

also beat Gat out of Hell last night. I knew it when I heard it, but I love Nathan Fillion as god's voice actor :)

Guacamelee is great
Unfinished Swan is very meh and I'm usually a sucker for these "experience" games.
I'll take a free Race the Sun, doubt I would have ever paid for it but was interested in playing it, maybe I'll play it for #MotorMAYhem

yeah glad I didn't get race the sun and hohokum a few months ago on sale. only slap I got was guac which i got on the sale and havn't played yet, but no fret.

Played a couple of levels of shinobi versus bon appetit and I'm kind of disappointed that there is no actual music but just generic beats. The whole taking the clothes off after beating them each section is so innovative though. So that's why it gets my highest review score of 3/3 boobs. Monster monpiece is the only other game to receive the prestigious score so you know you are getting you're boobs worth.
Just so I don't show any bias, our other writer Derek will chime in on his thoughts on the game.
Also @ltrain no links, just like you like it.

My man here is spot on. Only thing he missed is the girls covered in food if you perform well. Oh, and the jiggling, such amazing physics!

No, it's where the boobs point away from each other. Kind of like Cameron Diaz's.

Hmmm, ok Plus stuff I guess...already played Guac. Ether looks ok. I wanted to check out Race The Sun so +1 for that. I wasn't going to buy Murasaki Baby either but for free I'll give it a go. Already played Unfinished Swan too. Lot of cross buy though going on which is always pretty cool.

Ether One definitely has my interest.  Murasaki Baby looks interesting.  Have Guac and Swan.  I'll check out the other 2 at some point.

How can there be 5 ps4 games for next month and yet the slap still stings so badly?

Just platted guac, own and haven't played race the sun, and own and played unfinished swan and hohokum.  The worst is that all 4 games from the Play promo (hohokum, rogue legacy, counterspy, the swapper) have already gone free.  Well I guess I should be happy that I only got helldivers out of the spring fever games since they'll all be free too within a few months...

Wow, that PS plus list for may is pretty underwhelming. Does this mark the end of mainstream  major developer titles for free?

For once I don't own any of the Plus titles and I'm interested in playing all of them (except maybe Murasaki Baby), especially Ether One. Not bad.

I actually think it's to clear the decks for a gangbuster June so they can tout it at e3. Were giving away games! Awesome ones!

HOLY HOT SHIT MOTHER fuck ING HELL...THIS BETTER BE THE YEAR OF THE VITA.

Xbox May games for comparison

* CastleStorm: Definitive Edition Available from May 1-31 on Xbox One (anything with tower defense elements gets an automatic 'ugh' from me)

* Mafia II: Available from May 1-15 on Xbox 360 (have it, never played it but I heard good things)

* F1 2013: Available from May 16-31 on Xbox 360 (would never have bought it but who doesn't like racing games)

So no opinions on these sale games?

Class of Heroes 2?

Senran Kagura game (the cooking one. although judging from the early description it seems pretty juvenile/adolescent)

Conception 2?

Redemption of Fate ($9 for such an old game?)

Battle Princesses?

Yakuza Dead Souls?

boring plus month is kinda boring, but I did want to try murasaki baby at some point so there's that. virtually no face slaps either which may be a first in 2015.

Where the fuck is that music festival sim? big fest was it?

This is actually pretty amazing, good catch. The play promo is just a PS+ preview confirmed.

Not too bad of a Plus month for me. Already have the Plat on Guacamelee and also already beat Race the Sun and Unfinished Swan. Don't have Hohokum or Murisaka Baby and Ether One kinda sounds interesting. So 3 new games for me isn't too bad at all.

To me that is way way worse than the PS+ list. Interested to see if the casuals across the internet would prefer a 5 year old retail game and a 2 year old racing retail game over the mostly much newer stuff Plus got.

lol invertedboobs

has pancakes been drinking this morning
No I was bored waiting for my interview but I am opening up a bottle of Choco stout.

I finish early so I never got that far. heh

Battle Princesses?
My old reviews for:

[*]Battle Princesses (http://gamegravy.com/review/battle-princess-of-arcadias/)
  • TL;DR Pacing problems and looks gorgeous with nonsensical story, but pretty fun hack n slash combat on the dedicated levels for it, but then weird stuff on other levels.

Class of Heroes 2 - seems interesting but Demon Gaze is a much better choice (with trophies!)

Bon Appetit - What do you think 3/3 boobs mean?! I don't slap that on every game.

Conception 2 - I heard mixed reviews over it and the combat doesn't look that interesting but I still bought it for $9. Hopefully character creation will keep my interest.

Resonance of Fate - Made by Tri-Ace, enough said. I don't even remember what the story is about but the gameplay is badass. I loved customizing my gun grinding out battles...once I figured out how to play as it has a steep learning curve.

Battle Princess - Have it but haven't touched it. It looks meh.

Yakuza Dead Souls - Game is awesome. One of my favorite plats that I loved playing all the way through. It is very niche though so I hope you liked/played the series. Also the controls get a bit getting used to as it feels a bit awkward at first.

Pretty happy with the Plus games.  Have regular ol' PS3 Guacamelee, but not the fancy PS4 version.  Great great shit that game.  Only other one I have is Unfinished Swan, but it's actually Finished Swan for me!  (yuk yuk).  Almost bought the other older stuff a couple times so I get the anti-slap there.  Long live the indies.

Bucks did a pretty cool promotion this morning.  First 50 people to turn in red Bucks gear at the Bradley Center today got a new green Bucks playoff shirt and 2 free tickets to tomorrow night's game 6.  Trying to erase the red since it's obviously a Bulls color and it will be gone next year.  They also only let Wisconsin residents buy tickets to the game for like the first 36 hours or so.

K, back from reddit and neogaf's PS+ and GwG threads.

I fucking hate people.

If you can't find one game to enjoy out of:

Guacamelee (combat)

Ether One (first person puzzler)

Race the Sun (racing/endless runner)

Unfinished Swan (first person puzzler)

Murisaki Baby (platformer)

Hohokum (I have no idea)

Castlestorm (easy RTS/tower defense)

Mafia 2 (action)

F1 2013 (racing)

Then what are you actually playing? Why are you even bothering to play video games?
