I saw movies a lot more in college as the local theater had a good student rate, but now adays it's so expensive by the time you buy two tickets you're practically to the point where you can just purchase the blu-ray in a few months for the same cost.
That's not as bad as the "platforming" required for Challenge of the Gods #10.

I bought it when it was $6 that one time. Not really sure why, based on what I saw Tyler stream and the fact that most people here love it, it's safe to assume it's going to be stupid as hell.
There's "difficult" and then there's "stupidly unfair". No part of GoW was ever really difficult, but that final Challenge... *sigh*
Sorry to hear that. I think it's an awesome game. But good job explaining why it's not for you. I wish the rest of the internet was like that instead of just calling a game "garbage" because they don't like it or the genre isn't for them.

Yeah it was $5.40 in January which is when I grabbed it. I figured I might like it and for $5 and change not a big deal if I didn't.
I thought about that too but decided I didn't go into any specific details that weren't already seen in trailers. If anyone has seen all the MCU movies they should know about the direction it's heading.
I really liked what little I could finish. I just suck badly at platformers like this. Thought maybe I could chip away at it little by little and still might go back to it at some point. I thought the graphics were well done as was the music. It was retro but not lame retro if that makes any sense. I also liked it was cross save and cross buy. I started it on my Vita and got stuck. Thought maybe I would have a bit better luck using a DS4 controller but it didn't make much difference. I don't remember playing a ton of platformmers as a kid but do recall playing Donkey Kong in the arcade and on both the 2600 and Colecovision and don't remember having this much trouble.
Yeah, I just pointed it out because I know how touchy some movie nerds are about even the slightest bit of spoiled content.
That checkpoint thing happened to me too. It gets harder has you progress since the levels are longer and have more checkpoints the further you are. I'm towards the end of the game and wasn't paying attention and accidentally destroyed the last checkpoint in the level. I'd been stuck at that one part and was mad when it happened. I rage quit and closed the game. Haven't been back since.
Yeah part of my problem is I start to spam the shovel button too. Which is what happened here. There was a ghost that was pissing me off and I wanted to stun him.
