Unfinished Swan feels like work. Also for some reason it makes me queasy. Kind of wish I hadn't started it.
The garden chapter, which I see you finished is the most work since you have to uncover everything with paint. If that is the mechanic that bothered you, it is essentially done now. The rest of the game has more normal environments.

Yeah. It would have been better if you could just hold in the trigger and spray paint endlessly, but you can't. I guess I'll continue it if that's done.

Wow, that's great. I think all I've played is the first chapter and I abandoned it. If that mechanic gets relaxed for the rest of the game maybe I'll give it another shot.

I just went back and checked videos to be sure. Once you get out of the Garden and get that trophy there is a very small section at the beginning of the watch tower that also heavily makes use of the paint mechanic. Once you are a few minutes into the watch tower level it is more of a normal environment as you can somewhat see from the freeze frame.

I don't have a ton of experience with picross type games, but shouldn't all the puzzles be solvable without guessing on any of the blocks? This Sketchcross game seems to have a lot where you just kinda have to guess. Or maybe I just suck. But I really liked playing the GB Mario Picross on 3DS and finished all of that. Either way, not digging it. Seems poorly put together.
How many times can I like this? I love picross, so I got sketchcross against my better judgement. It is a disaster. There is so much guessing it in. I had a fair share of bugs trying to navigate the terrible menus too.

I have 150 Club Nintendo coins left over after getting a t-shirt because I have most of the Wii games I'm gonna want that are available.

So if anyone wants my leftovers to get one of the GameBoy games on 3DS that are on offer, let me know and I'll get you the game code.

Ok good, im glad it's not just me. Like the 8th puzzle I'm like why can't I figure this out? Why do I have to guess? What did I fuck up?

But then they keep making you guess. And trying to navigate and mark those giant puzzles takes forever. Just ugh to that game.

More than a little annoyed at my vita. Never did get it to restore from the backup, tried two different computers and reformatted the memory card a bunch of times. Kept stalling out around 11 or 12 gb. Then when I got tired of that and tried to just dl all the games individually it kept erroring out. Finally started working this morning, but man the dl list on vita sucks. Queue'd up enough games to keep it running before I left the house, but now I'm sending the rest from the web.

Kinda had to laugh at all the people online who made posts about the same thing on the ps forums though. Why the hell would you wipe your old card before making sure the new one worked right?

Backlog statistics:
Out of the 27 unstarted games in my vita backlog, only 6 of them are non-ps+/glitch freebies
Out of the 19 unstarted games in my ps4 backlog, just 1 is a non-ps+ freebie.

I'd like to get in on that if no one else got a hold of you.

Lost Orbit review is live now.

http://invertedaccess.com/2015/05/12/lost-orbit-review/

For those that watched the stream the other night, I asked the dev about the in-game swearing in the narration that was edited. We were right, it was related to a rating, specifically the European rating PEGI. They said they would have got a PEGI 16 rating if they didn't censor out the cursing.

Thanks in advance to anyone who checks out the review.

It never ceases to amaze me that we still cant curse in mainstream media even though 99.9% of the population curses during their every day conversations.  Its just dumb.

That Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night game unlocked the last stretch goal which was PSNOT favorite *local* coop. Cue outrage.

Seriously, where is this resurgence in local coop coming from? Are all of you guys suddenly having friends over to your houses/apartments to play games regularly? ME NEITHER. I'm sure netcode is hard, but for 1.5m just fucking license someone else's!

Yeah I can't wait to start The Witcher 3, love it for a few weeks, then move on to other stuff because it's too fucking long. Happened with Skyrim, The Witcher 2, Dragon Age, Fallout etc. I really do enjoy all of those games,  though, and one of these days I'm gonna finish them.

Yeah, it's not just you. It's such a pile of garbage. I basically started cheating just so that I could 100% the trophies and then never look back.

Yeah ditto. After I got sick of guessing, I just looked up the solutions. I can't imagine trying to get those giant ones at the end right using their shit clues.

Working on the 100 Frenzy puzzles one this morning damn near put me in a coma this morning.

I can't say for this game as I don't know much about it, but I think most of you overestimate how well online would work for some of these games. And yes, there's people out there that get together to play games. My kids, for example, have friends over to play Smash Bros and the like. For me it's a lot rarer, but then I have kids to play with. I'm going to get the Towerfall expansion and we are going to play this weekend. My friends that come over want to play board games and/or pinball, not video games. Though I know there's some video gamers in my crowd so I'm going to see about getting people over to play some day. I did once have some friends over to play DDR way back when.

I would 100% prefer a castlevanialike game without multiplayer. A lot of the games that have mp components don't warrant them at all. But if you're going to cram it in there, at least do it in a way that I assume the majority of people would actually want it.

Prom night.

I now understand what Owl meant about the difference between hard vs. medium/easy on the Sonic Racing levels. Easy and medium are so similar to each other so far...
Ya, if you are trying for the plat then I wouldn't race any higher than medium unless you hit a star gate you can't pass since the 4th star, expert, is unlocked only once you finish cup #5. So there's not much point killing yourself passing hard on all the tracks when you're going to have to do it all over again in expert anyway.

You have to do a few hard races though to unlock the final gate, I recommend doing pursuits (tank), battle races (hang in the back of the pack and kill them 1 by 1), and Versus as they are pretty easy on hard.

Metal Sonic still the go-to character? I played again last night and sucked the suck off of the game.
