Humble Bundle is generally a PC thing, but right now they have an eShop bundle. If you have both a Wii U and a 3DS then check this out, much better deals than you generally get on Nintendo stuff:

It's amazing how it's held on to its price. It's also amazing how Sony has taken octodad to the level of B tier video game celebrity. If they ever make another PS all stars game (why would they do this?) they should put him in.

The game really is cool though - I like the world/characters/story more than the actual gameplay (which is really fun). I'd be lying if I said I didn't play around in the grocery store for 15 minutes trying to put on a pair of glasses.

I really hope they continue the series after whatever they're doing now. hell, I hope they figure out how to get a children's cartoon made.

that's actually pretty cool. we got a good chunk of those from plus already, but i'll keep my eye on what they add to it. i would say i want one of these for sony, but chances are we'll already own 75% of the games from plus.

Don't forget they'll add more games next Tuesday at 1pm CST as well. Those extra games will be at the BTA tier. Obviously we already have most from PS+ (I expect Stealth Bastard 2 will get there eventually as well) but Switch Force and Moon Chronicles are both exclusives. The Fall is on PC.

I should have grabbed it when the BTA was $5.49 even though I don't have a 3DS yet. Everybody is grabbing the $10 tier so the BTA is going up fast, though obviously it won't go above $10. Now I think I'll hold off until seeing what next week brings.

Based on their twitter feed, it seems like they may be bringing it to X1 and WiiU at some point. If that is the case, I am not sure Sony would be so prepared to be that deep in bed with them.

I do hope we see more though. It really surprised me how much I liked the game, and I definitely wished it was longer.

Now I hope someone makes a collectible guide and gives hints on the other 2 trophies I thought I knew what to do for and apparently didn't soon :)

 
HB doing this makes me wonder if we'll see a Sony equivalent. Though I imagine the publishers that would participate would be the same ones already putting their games on PS+.

I have both consoles and I am kind of in the same boat. I dont see anything in that list that would make me even spend the few bucks except the stuff we already have on Plus (half of which I have not even played yet).

I am glad to see them doing it though, and it would be cool if they did the same with PS platforms.

Bundle is cool and definitely a better price than anything you'd ever get from Nintendo but I already own a few like Mighty Switch Force on 3DS and the rest feels like a PSN rehash. Kind of sucks I'll be skipping this since I just got a Wii U. I already figured I'd have a tiny library for it...this just cements it.

decided to skip black flag gold. i'm not interested in the mp portion at all, and i already have the freedom cry standalone. decided to get magicka 2 in its place. i got sound shapes as well, ofc. i might pop all those trophies in a couple years.

Hmmm this is kind of setting a cool precedent. Surprised it was a Nintendo bundle to do it first.

 
So Dragon Quest VIII is coming to the 3DS in Japan no announcement for a US version? That's one PS2 game I never got to that I wouldn't mind playing on the go. Plus Japan got Dragon Quest VII on the 3DS as well. What's worse is they ported it to mobile as well. 

PUT IT ON THE VITA DAMMIT!!!! It would take all of no work to port.

I like the precedent too, but are you really surprised it happened there first? I am guessing all those devs want some money from bothering to port those games to those platforms. I am guessing the sales were terrible since they aren't first party games.

It seems like most indie devs are happy with how their games do on PS platforms.

going through my club nintendo stuff today, cause i've been lazy. don't plan on playing smash on 3ds at all.

I'm almost positive that they can't generate their own codes on PS4 and X1, so seems almost entirely impossible for it to be a feature on WiiU and 3DS. I'd say Nintendo would have had to be involved.

 
They may not be able to generate their own codes, but I'd expect that they can request codes from Nintendo to use as they wish. Probably have to pay for them at some low rate, though.

 
Bums, I'm not super tired today and I finished my exam during lunch. Since I did that I didn't get a chance to finish the Sound Shapes platinum. I will after work. Thermogenica and Galaxnoids weren't as bad as people made them seem.

If I don't have either system but plan on getting them later I should still be able to buy and redeem later, right? I know you can with other HBs but I'm not sure how the eShop works.

I think Polygon said HB has approached the other platform leaders too about bundles. Nintendo was involved in this one.

didn't realize killing floor 2 released as early access on steam. it's 15% off right now, going to be so hard not to buy that. early access probably means the ps4 version is a lot farther off than i was hoping.

I actually am glad I played it. Also glad I paid less then $15 for it. I was going to skip it altogether as I am not a huge fan of the climbing/running mechanics. I did scream at the TV a few times when the dumb ass jumps up on the wall when I am trying to attack a crowd of enemies. Or when scaling a building and it just seems to get stuck for a min. Won't go up or down or left and right. I will say I didn't jump off buildings backwards as much as I did in AC1 and part of AC2. There are some annoying aspects of the game but pretty fun and a bunch to do. Just was a horrible launch for them.

Yea the running and climbing mechanics can be dumb some times. Bought it too for less than 15, still aint opened. Working on Rogue. Which I havent played in a week or two now.

Yeah the parkour in Unity isnt that bad.  Certainly better than any prior AC game.  I know the launch was bad, but I have to say that they must have fixed a lot since my play time has been pretty flawless.  Other than some pop in and a hitch or two in a cut scene the game has run smoothly.  It has the least issues I remember from any prior AC game.

The cut scenes and facial expressions are real nice.

NeoGAF mentions that that Humble Nintendo Bundle is also US-only. Region locked codes (which PSN also has) is another huge detriment to consoles doing bundles. Either you have to deal with multiple branches of these huge companies on different continents and then keep all the codes straight and sort all donors based on locations, or you just leave out a region or more and end up pissing off a bunch of people that you didn't mean to. Probably more headache than it's worth. Half of the NeoGAF thread about the bundle is Europeans bitching about it.
