Yep, and you already know what that answer is. Great game, although I could have done without some of the fourth wall breaking. I think I enjoyed it more than Guacamelee; the combat is really satisfying (even though I seem to be spamming the same attacks over and over again) and the musical score is amazing.

I'm actually nearing the last boss as I post this; just waiting on the shop to restock so I can craft this augment item. Probably have the plat in the next 20 minutes.

 
The Fire Phone was $100 a bit over a month ago, and included Prime. I'm regretting not grabbing one of those. Not sure if the phone is great, but I'm sure it's better than the S3 I have right now, and at that price it was silly to pass up. It makes me feel like the kinda fool who would pass on Golds at $40. Nobody wants to be that kinda fool.  :dunce:

Not shocking, I usually think the employee is like, I need this for myself and cancels the order so he/she can have it. If something is dirt cheap and showing only a couple in stock, I'll chance it and go to the store and try to find it myself.

 
Does anyone have any ideas for an online job I can do? I know its hard to say, but I feel like shit spending so much time at work playing video games when I could be sitting here earning a second income instead. I just have no ideas. If I could figure something out, I could spend most my winter just traveling and snowboarding.
 
Yeah Mitch it's the usual Frys tease, Fountain Valley isn't the closest but it would be worth it since I would be in the area during the week. Oh well life goes on.

Split it with a 'friend' or family. All you need is their birthdate (month and day), name and email address. I did this with someone else on another forum the last two years. Only the main account gets the streaming stuff and Kindle lending library or whatever it is called though. We MIGHT get our own account when it expires and split it with someone else. I wouldn't mind trying the streaming stuff. Plus my wife has her own Amazon account which isn't Prime so that sucks since she has a Kindle.

AC: Unity is plat #325.  I can not believe the DLC is another 8GB.  Downloading that now, but I think I am going to take a bit of a break from this one for the rest of the day and finally get started on Pikmin 3 instead. If others get a group together to run through some missions and need an extra, let me know.

I did not play it when it was first out obviously, but based on what I played now, it does not deserve the bad rap it got.  I still think Rogue was more fun in a lot of ways, but I prefer the games like Unity without all the boat time.

 
I thought boat time was a nice distraction from the annoyances of how imperfect the free run system is. It felt like it really rounded the game out well. Honestly I'd rather Unity have something similar instead of the MP element, which seems like a big step down. I'm not a big MP player in general, though, so that's not really aimed at me in the first place.

 
I watched Nye and Beakman, but Beakman was the best.

I had a thing for his sidekick girl when I was a kid. The first one, there were 3.

Yeah I think it deserved all the crap it got when it came out.  It was horrible by all accounts.  With the huge updates it is pretty fun actually but still a bit buggy at times.  I think I liked BF and Rogue better but the co-op was pretty fun.  I liked the boat stuff in BF a lot but didn't play as much of it in Rogue.  The Rogue land missions weren't as annoying as the BF ones (bullshit tailing missions). 

I don't think I am going to go for the plat.  I did finish up all the co-op trophies this morning along with syncing all the points.  Just getting burnt out and want to play something else.  Roughly 300 chests and however many cockades plus a bunch of additional mission types I don't think I have it in me to grind all that out.

I will probably finish up the Social club missions, maybe try a Rift mission and probably solve mystery one mission to get those trophies and either trade it to BB or put it aside at least.  I think with the bonuses this week it is $11.20 which isn't too bad.  My nephew will never sell his copy so I can always borrow that should I decide to chase down that plat some day.

I actually did enjoy the collections stuff for the most part in Rogue and (to a lesser extent) Liberation. The exploration angle is a lot of fun depending on the environment. It was the city part of Liberation I didn't like as much. Buildings are a lot less interesting to explore.

 
Nothing like hearing a screaming 4 year old in Christmas Tree Shops for literally 20 minutes straight to remind me why my wife and I are waiting a LONG time time to start a family.

Its amazing how you plow through these games. I feel like I played this game a lot and still have 40% of the collectables, a handful of rift and a bunch of social missions to do. Along with 5 or 6 co op missions. And all the training missions.

The cockades and chests certainly suck. What do you mean by a bunch of additional missions though? You have to do one murder mystery. There are 4 short missions you need to do to get the last chest and one short mission to be able to get the last cockade. You do not have to get 100% everything for the plat. Those were the only side mission things I did.

The 3 rift trophies dont take long at all and were much easier than I expected. I can certainly understand avoiding the collectibles, but you should be able to get all the rest besides those 2 very easily.

ETA: I forgot about the Enigmas, those really suck too. That would be 2 more trophies. Doing 1 to get the one trophy wouldn't be too bad though. Getting all 18 is a drag.

Games like this one, it wouldn't be possible without help from you guys to get them done. Also, my cheapness works to my advantage. Since I do the Gamefly thing, it makes me thing the game is costing me more the longer I keep one without swapping it for another. Then the completionist in me makes me want to finish it. Plus I don't like to work on multiple games at the same time. That all works together to get me to churn through them.

Or even better yet, get Prime with the student discount. Anything with an .edu will do.

 
I found a pretty awesome page that shows my character and my past cod prestiges etc.

Look at all those high prestiges, at least 10s ;) so i dont spend all my time getting trophies, i waste it in cod too.

fuck fucking Dying Light right in the fucking bumhole.  Of course the two hardest trophies by far are bronzes.  I mean, why wouldn't they be?

Although the best troll achievement ever was the one in Infinite Undiscovery.  Play through the whole game on the hardest mode that you can only unlock after multiple playthroughs, and get an achievement worth 1 point.

I got 7 points for it on TrueAchievements, though... woohoo.

One of the DLC packs gives 3 extra mods. On the other 3 DLC you only have to unlock the non-DLC mods in multiplayer (which you get my doing tasks) and in singleplayer (which you get by winning races) ............ except in the 4th DLC. As a final fuck you, you have to win the races for the ram chasis (a DLC mod) on all 5 cars in the hero pack which means an extra 5 races compared to the other 2 DLC packs.

Yeah. I have been doing the social clubs ones. I have roughly 12 of those to do still. Then I need to do one mystery and at least 3 Helix missions to get the "Need more Data' trophy. And then the Enigmas stuff and then also the training trophy which I am sure is easy too but still still seems like a drag.

If the collectibles wasn't so bad I would probably give it a go but I am ready to play something else.

Meanwhile the rays have moved back into a tie with the Yankees for first. Never mind the fact they are only a game over 500. The rays have been missing 3/5 their starting rotation all season and playing the most rookies in the league.

Dammit, Zimm, all Targets should have the 48 packs of Archer Farms Caramel Macchiato K Cups, not just a couple in my area.  You tell whoever's in charge of shelf space that needs to happen ASAP.  Also, the 5% cartwheel coupon doesn't work on them.

Achieve X stars in AR challenges, so don't get too excited yet.

There appears to be a 'new story+' whatever the hell that is. No obvious reference to beating it on a no deaths difficulty (or any listed difficulty) so that might be good news too.

Also, *15* different moves in one combo? Yowza. Oughta be fun.

I don't know how CheapyD is so successful (assuming he is, I don't know). I can't imagine him even holding on to a normal day-to-day job with forgetfulness and lack of follow through.
