So as someone who doesn't really watch much baseball, both times she was running at her from way outside the baseline, at that angle and with that mask on, all she can probably see in her peripheral vision is a shape coming at her and the elbow is a first strike if the runner is planning some sneaky shit. You notice the catcher left those runners alone who followed the baseline. Also since she is approaching from way outside the baseline, there is no reason to come that close to the catcher, she could of easily not angled as much back inward and touched the right side of the base without coming in bumping distance of the catcher.

The second time she stops swinging her left arm and leans in at the last second as if to bump the catcher and gets knocked to the ground for her attempt.

As someone who watches a ton of baseball, this is wrong. She was blocking the plate while not even being close to preparing to catch and tag. That catcher is just a big bitch.

You can see her clearly turn and look at the runner in one of them, then turn back toward the field and deliver the elbow. Runner has the right to be in the baseline to tag the base. The catcher does not. Especially if there is no imminent play at the plate.

She's a dirty player. Or her coach gave her dirty instructions. Either way it's dirty.

Always cool, but I can never get hyped for these friendlies. There were 4 players on the German team that played today that actually played in the World Cup final last year. I'm sure we didn't start all our best players either. Kinda reminds me of Minor League Baseball or the D-League. Hey look, our B team beat their B/C team! Woohoo!

I love when people get excited about sequels to games they haven't even played because they see other people are excited and they want to fit in. It's ok to have your own opinion on things.
 
You guys see they added a $5m goal for Bloodstained? It's to make the dungeon roguelike, and the plan is to give you a seed number so that you can share the dungeon with friends if you want.

Seriously. Tacking on a roguelike feature is just as bad as tacking on multiplayer. There should be a way for them to just stop the kickstarter and say 'whoa guys, we have enough money.'

You won't believe it, but I'm excited for Shadow Warrior 2 because the gameplay I've seen for SW1 looked fun. I don't give a crap about "fitting in".

No, I'm not talking about the Fresh Prince.I'm talking about my Playstation 3.

Last night it won't read my PS3 discs. CD's, DVD's, and PS1 discs work.  Saw video on Youtube of someone tilting their machine to make the disc load and it worked for me.

Am I better off getting one of those vertical stands or should I risk opening the PS3 up and cleaning the Blu Ray lens? I've done it before to change out the SATA drive but this seems much more dangerous.  

Suggestions?

that happened to me and i downloaded all i could and disconnected it from online and 'disconnected' it from psn. now it is all offline all digital. sucks tho no more trophies from that system.

This.... as someone who's played a lot of baseball and been thrown out of a few games, something tells me benches would have cleared on this one, especially when she mouthed off afterward. Catcher got lucky one of them didn't tackle her, but kudos to them for keeping their cool. I'm sure they got her back one way or another via spikes or a backswing to the head from the next batter. I wasn't a dirty player by any means, but catchers are an easy target. Guarantee the next runner coming in to score a run came in hard regardless of whether there was a play or not.
