Um, yeah I totally looked for deals on PSN credit...

...no I didn't. Are there any out there?
I dont think anything current, there was a couple of posts last few days about ebay stuff, like 35 for 50 type deals.

Shoulda tried for them myself now that I think about it. 70 for 100 and then 15 back, thats like paying 55 for 100.

I played the Atlus one when I was on a plat binge and because it was a GoT tie-in. Pretty short and an easy plat. Story wasn't too bad. Graphics were crap.
So you added an avatar that tells me you are an AKC fan, and now I found out you are/were? a trophy guy too. Sounds like you need to post more and add your card to your sig. I think all the NC people here are Duke fans so hopefully we won't have to deal with any of that "real Carolina" nonsense.

Come on Owl and Gator. Just cause a game has a kid and a monster tagging along doesnt mean its the same game!  GEEZ!

Hes not going to sleep with you.

Gator.  Have you been playing Pay Day 2?  If so what do you think of it?  Is there much replay value or is it something you play through once and done?

Nah the only games more over hyped then Just Cause 3 is Batman Arkham Knight and Destiny.

To the first part, not the second.

I have not played the new one yet. I played the entire game to platinum with friends on PS3. It is a lot of fun if you have a steady group to play with. The only reason I am going to get the new one is because I am going to play it with the 3 guys I played it with on PS3.

There is no campaign at all. There are just various heists you do with other people. The online community was pretty well known for having a load of douchebags playing who thought that they got more XP if they would boot someone right at the end of a heist. So while it is a blast with friends, I could never recommend the game to anyone who was just going to play with randoms.

The replay value is that you get better skills and weapons which make the heists all play different. Also, there are multiple levels of difficulty that change how the levels play. There is also a decent amount of randomness in how the levels are setup as well (location of doors or items you have to find, etc).

I thought that Mighty No. 9 video made it look better than it has in the past. I didn't watch the whole thing, but the part I watched looked pretty good.

Any confirmation to the rumors of the cancelled Batman Batmobile editions due to the Batmobiles losing wheels allowing Joker to get away?

If you are affected by it or are on the fence, Walmart still has the Limited Edition with the Batmang statue available for preorder.

Also, Amazon has an exclusive Serious Edition that comes with a graphic novel for $70.

Figured if I'm going to post the least I could do was add an avatar.

Love the AKCs; my alma mater, too. I'd say with supreme confidence that will take of the Tar-holes on 9/3, but whose our QB gonna be and the AKC defense still has a lot of question marks. #nevertoearlyforncaafootballtalk

Me and a few buddies had a plat/trophy pissing contest going on for a while, but then...Destiny.

No one gives a damn about your avatar as long as you don't have a trophy card in your sig!

Yeah I have to see if a friend of mine will play this then. He played the PS3 version I am pretty sure. I like co op games but as you said only really worth it if your co-op partner isn't a douchebag.

Yeah I do. Guess maybe at some point I should see if I can find 3 people to play that. Seemed semi cheap already on PS4. I got too much already to play anyway.
If it weren't such a massive download, I would play a few heists with you guys so you could level up pretty fast. I want to say the patch was like 6 gigs after close to that for the initial download. I would definitely suggest giving that a try before buying the PS4 version.

I'm a big fan of sidescrollers like this, so yeah I'm definitely interested. No date announced yet, though, so no telling when it'll hit.

This video made me think of something, how people complain about games like Uncharted Golden Abyss because they feel as if they are watered down versions of the console versions. Do any of you feel that way? Personally when I got my Vita and fired up GA I was like holy shit I can't believe I'm playing this on a friggin handheld. I've always loved handheld gaming and started with the Gameboy so to me it's really amazing!

I mean Uncharted Vita had some gimmicks but I didn't feel like it was super watered down...was it Uncharted 2 (no) but it was pretty damn good. Am I just more realistic in my expectations of what a "portable" game should be? Are gamers just whiny bitches? Are these people that don't even own a handheld? Trolls?

http://www.foxconnect.com/mel-brooks-collection-the.html

Pretty damn good price for that set, I think.

I just don't think anyone saw the point. Most of the detractors are people who could sit down in front of their nice TV with their ps3 and play uncharted there. why play a comparatively subpar version on a tiny screen? I always thought they marketed the vita wrong though - nobody that had that freedom really needed a vita. People who don't necessarily have that kind of TV access (married/family people), commuters, kids - they didn't really seem to shoot for these markets. They nailed the pickup and play with virtually flawless suspend, but marketing to the mainstream gamer crowd was a mistake. if thats the market they wanted they needed more gravity rush type games to give a reason to play it over the trillion ps3 games available. even with ps4 remote play they haven't figured out who actually uses it. honestly I don't think there is much of a handheld market left, but we'll see what Nintendo does in the next couple years to confirm that.

If they could've found a way to make it cheaper it could've been a good ps3 alternative, but the memory card pricing is out of whack still and they didn't find a suitable way to do that until pstv hit $50-$60 (and of course compatibility is a burden there).

That amazon price is slightly less than their price on the original gold headset, but just slightly. So it might not be a mistake, it might be intentional. I prefer the look of the original set, but I'm not in the market for this type of headset anyway.
