Kind of want, tax sucks making them almost $70, I still use my PS3 version on PS3 and PS4. But I kind of want, but I kind of don't. Decisions Decisions.
If you are talking about the original SONY wireless headset that came out then I would recommend getting the new ones. The Golds are so much better than the original wireless. Still my best purchase for Ps3/Ps4.

Or you can be a true cheapass Vig and hem and haw about it for weeks and decide to keep your millions in credit.

That amazon price is slightly less than their price on the original gold headset, but just slightly. So it might not be a mistake, it might be intentional. I prefer the look of the original set, but I'm not in the market for this type of headset anyway.
Definitely not intentional. They don't come out for 3 months and the release price is $100.

I honestly never would have bought a pair of golds if not for that unadvertised Target deal being too good to pass up.  I thought the pack in was perfectly fine for the PS4 and I had an old bluetooth PS3 one.  Now, if mine broke, I would go pay full price just to get a replacement pair.  I can't imagine going back to either of those uncomfortable mics at this point.

Lock it in and decide later. That is what I did when the PS4 was announced at E3 2 years ago. Almost canceled several times.

I just don't think anyone saw the point. Most of the detractors are people who could sit down in front of their nice TV with their ps3 and play uncharted there. why play a comparatively subpar version on a tiny screen? I always thought they marketed the vita wrong though - nobody that had that freedom really needed a vita. People who don't necessarily have that kind of TV access (married/family people), commuters, kids - they didn't really seem to shoot for these markets. They nailed the pickup and play with virtually flawless suspend, but marketing to the mainstream gamer crowd was a mistake. if thats the market they wanted they needed more gravity rush type games to give a reason to play it over the trillion ps3 games available. even with ps4 remote play they haven't figured out who actually uses it. honestly I don't think there is much of a handheld market left, but we'll see what Nintendo does in the next couple years to confirm that.

If they could've found a way to make it cheaper it could've been a good ps3 alternative, but the memory card pricing is out of whack still and they didn't find a suitable way to do that until pstv hit $50-$60 (and of course compatibility is a burden there).
I guess I'm slightly skewed since I've always loved handheld gaming...I guess I'm in the minority though. It's weird tough Sony could easily fix a few of the bigger Vita issues like price and the memory card crap. If it was $150 and $50 for a 32GB card I think people would take notice. I can't stand people that say I could just play this better game on my TV at home because it misses the fuck ing point. PORTABILITY IS THE POINT. It's just not a sound argument. Portability is my number one, and the suspend is brilliant.

Remote Play is cool but it's just not solid enough as for me it needs to be 100% flawless all of the time. I guess I just need to realize that I'm one of the minority that handheld gaming caters to. I guess if it dies off completely I could get a gaming laptop but that just sucks. I honestly really don't understand why Sony can't at least take the memory card and pricing issues more seriously and push the thing forward. It seems like they would just rather let it be and go out on it's own.

I was talking about these:

http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Stereo-Headset-Playstation-3/dp/B0053OLY9O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1434649734&sr=8-1&keywords=ps3+stereo+headset

What makes the Golds so much better? Do they also work on PS3?

I'll wait for Amazon's TIV on the Black Gold Headset to go a bit higher and just trade it in. It's at $40.14 now, but I'll hold out for $50+.

Oh, highlight of E3, Shuhei Yoshida telling Colin and Greg he has played Sony Bend's new PS4 game, Quantic Dream's new PS4 game, and Sony Polyphony's new PS4 game, and then just laughs....

Put in a pre order as well, cause why the fuck not?

I agree with Gator. I never had a headset before, but if my golds broke I would get another pair and pay full price if I had to.

Trophy card is up.

I have Payday 2 for PS3 as well, so I would be in if you need a fourth.
How have you not completed a raid/raid on hard?

You need to do a hard crota and get those two trophies if you have dark below. Vault of Glass aint hard, just takes longer. The 50 ghosts is easy too, there is a site that tracks them, ill find the link.

http://destinyghosthunter.net/

Use that for the 50 ghosts, its fairly quick to get them.

Yes, and Vita with a supplied audio cable. For the PS3 and PS4, it uses a USB dongle that you simply have to move from one console to the other.
Yup works really well. I just move the dongle back and forth as needed. Sometimes I forget to turn them off and the next day they are dead. I would have thought they would have shutoff or something. Other then that I can't think of a single problem I have with them.

I use them in the morning if I am gaming before my wife gets up. Nice not to have have the volume down too low and miss dialog.

Yup same with me. I had cheap inexpensive wired headsets with my PS3, XBox 360 and PS4. Glad I spent the money on them.

If you use ps4 to watch any streaming stuff, they work good for that too. Watched most of GoT on hbo go using those.
Saturday or Sunday morning I streamed a couple of episodes of Orange is the New Black on Netflix. Wasn't sure it would work with the Netflix app. Worked great.

I actually prefer for devices to have a physical shutoff switch.
They do. I just forget to switch them off. Or I think I switch them off and think I forget and put them back on. Maybe I will keep the the new set as a backup.

I really wish they had some sort of charging stand or something actually.

Looks like I have that Payday 2 game too, as well as Payday The Heist. So I suppose I could up for playing that when you guys get around to it. I'll try to not be weirded out by the masks.
