Grabbed Hand of Fate and Bonk's Adventure and will leave it at that. Does Bonk work on Vita and if so, how do I transfer it?

An article about city segregation:
http://io9.com/data-visualization-shows-how-segragated-our-cities-are-1714418166

Here's a link to a map that shows a breakdown of races across the US. You can zoom in on your city to see how the racial divide is. The data is from 2010. http://demographics.coopercenter.org/DotMap/index.html?utm_medium=App.net&utm_source=PourOver

In my city the southside is mostly Mexicans. It's interesting to actually see all the orange dots.
This was kinda cool, you get to see the concentrated population of black folks in Indy and Gary. And then when you zoom to my neighborhood, the mass concentration of asian folks. We have an oddly concentrated population of burmese people in my neighborhood, its pretty cool.

Do you call it Little Burma or Little Myanmar?

Europe is going to start getting their PS+ games on the first Tuesday of the month, like us. Completely irrelevant to anyone here, but still kinda interesting.

Anyone here been with PS Plus since the beginning?

Are you trying with the warrior dude? I had the same thing happen - tried 3 times without changing weapons and nothing. Did it first time with the archer. I think it's glitched for the warrior.

There's a fantastic beneficial glitch for ethereal weapons with weakening power - they always hit for critical damage. I stopped buying any other elemental weapon so they'll drop more.
Yup, was definitely trying with the warrior. I'll try with a different guy, thanks!

oh I didn't know el psy kongroo was a real thing outside of a psn name.
Maybe it was in a Twitch chat, but I thought it was in the thread when Pancakes talked about it coming from that Anime series that the "games" were based on.

It is odd that I do not see any US retailers with the US version available. Oddly, I own both of the games but the UK editions and have not actually had them in my possession yet. They are making their way around Poland currently.

I don't know why anyone would've been with it in the beginning. wasn't it just cloud storage and special demos/betas for a while for $50 / year? Looks like ps+ started in June of 2010 and I didn't even make this psn account until February of 2011.

Depends on what they mean by the beginning. I think I got my subscription like 2 months after they started as I wanted to check out what they were offering. Mostly PS1 games and Minis from what I recall. Probably was not a wise investment.

They added one (non PS1 Classic or Mini) game per month for about the first 18 months, then did a trial IGC in Feb 2012 before rolling out the real IGC in June 2013.

Wipeout was the first free game and a very good one (for racing fans, not me) but after that there was some questionable stuff in there (Mushroom Wars, Burn Zombie Burn, Lead & Gold, Magic, Bomberman Ultra).

They did have some pretty decent discounts since soon after the start. I joined in July 2011 during this sale because I was buying 3 or 4 games and the extra Plus savings alone were over $10. That first year it was kind of a toss up whether the program was worth my $50 a year, but then the IGC started and it was a no brainer.

Anybody play Dead Souls digitally? Thinking about grabbing that copy, partly because the load times in the disc are annoying and party to support the series.

I do like the sense of humor in the games. So far nothing matching this, though:

They always gave free games from the start but they were PSN games, Minis, and PS One Classics. First batch was Wipeout HD, Age of Zombies, Fieldrunners, and Rally Cross. As I pretty much never bought anything but Rock Band or Guitar Hero DLC off of the store prior to that, it gave me access to a bunch of games I never would have bpught (ok some I still haven't played lol). They also were giving 3 free months if you bought a year, so 15 months for $50.

I joined plus when lead and gold and sam and max were for free. I remember shortly after they started giving us all those Sega games, and Simpsons arcade for free day one.

Two levels in and I have to say that CoJ Gunslinger is pretty damn fun.
More people should be playing and commenting on this game. Its awesome and the only game I would have bought from the recent sales if I didnt already play it.

In other words I havent bought any games from the last few sales.

Started Super Exploding Zoo (PS4) on Friday. Pretty fun little puzzle game. I finished the first stage and the first couple levels in the second stage. If anyone wants to boost the MP trophies, let me know.

Yeah, some of the AR challenges appear to be redoing certain side missions but with a time limit, so they don't unlock until you've beaten that mission.

That's the one that made me decide to beat the story and then come back to missions. I watched a youtube video and it looks like you want to get rid of everyone but the mini-gunner, then use the voice synthesizer (which I don't have yet) to lure him to next to some electrical box that you can do an environmental takedown on.
I actually just got it in a combat section while rescuing a firefighter. I had three brutes in the fight and right after I killed them all, I noticed there was a blue box on the wall, so I did a restart and lured the brute over to it.

CoJ Gunslinger is pretty fun, it's just a linear shooter with a wild west setting, but it does have some upgrades and stuff that keep it feeling fresh enough. Dragged a bit at the end, I also didn't love the showdown sections, I didn't really understand them.

Thanks Tyler for the info on the scarecrow DLC challenges.  They were much easier than some of the others, so free stars make all the other challenges easier, I can pretty much just 2 star 7 challenges now, less if I go back for the other 2 stars I missed, missed one by 2 seconds.

As for the identity of the Arkham knight, be prepared to be disappointed.  If you have any background knowledge of Batman it is exactly who you would think it would be.  And not spoiling that because that part was pretty dumb.

One of my friends is close to the play, however he can't get the takedown trophy that I have and it extremely rare, still don't know how I got it so easily.  I pretty much have cleanup, I'm at the end of the story, and then the Ar challenges I'm at 45 stars.  Then I will definitely try out new game plus.

Can I tell everyone how unplayable awful bad horrible Xenoblade Chronicles 3D looks on the "NEW" 3ds again? Yeah it looks like barf. Stick with the Vita.

Yesterday I got to the credits in Hotline Miami. Then there's the epilogue which I'm partway through. Great game. How does the sequel stack up?

So I finally got fed up that my HP Touchpad was far enough out of date that youtube and other websites were working rather spotty on it that I decided to install Android on it. Since I last looked up how to do it a year or so ago they have developed new tools that make it a lot easier. So if you have a Touchpad lying around from when they were super cheap on closeout here's how to convert it to an Android tablet (with option to make it dual boot if you still want access to WebOs). It takes like 25 minutes and is a nearly fully automated process now

my favorite part of this is that you spoiled it without blatantly spoiling it. I hadn't actually considered the person who it apparently is until I read this.
It really wasn't that big of a deal, they could have gone so far outside the box and instead pretty much did a story somewhat already told with a slight variation. I wanted something completely out side the box.

Oh, I was misinterpreting what you were talking about then. There is a predator challenge that asks you to get an environmental takedown on a min-gunner dude, which is what I was talking about. Actually getting one on a brute or whatever is pretty easy as long as you stumble across the combat scenario.

Yeah, not cool dude. Let me disappointed on my own. I guess I probably know who it is now.
I hadn't considered Robin 2 since there is a Red Hood DLC pack, which would lead you to believe he is a separate character. Also, I don't think any of the previous games have acknowledged his existence, so it would be weird to bring him in now

Just skip that star, go for the scare crow stars as suggested by Tyler. It can almost give you 9 stars on regular challenges to skip. I am going to two star the rest and move on, when I'm done I'll find a couple I can 3 star till I hit 69. Was shocked my friend did it so fast, but then realized he did complete the scarecrow trophy already for the DLC
