No joke. When I was a kid, I had a cat that got one of those bot fly larva laid in the side of its face. it was disgusting. It was like this huge maggot and it would poke its head out of the hole. I'll never forget the smell of it. My grandpa told me to push on the bottom of the swollen part. I did, and that thing came shooting out of the cat's face. So fucking nasty. The cat scratched the shit out of me, took off running down the street, and never came back.

Look at the bright side of it, the cat didn't have the maggot anymore.

Well, i don't know about elegant. I did just get finished cleaning up the kid after she sharted a few minutes ago. Somebody somewhere is playing Taps for those panties cause they're damn sure not going in my washer.

In 7th or 8th grade, our class trip was to Washington DC. One guy in the room next to ours (you crammed 3 or 4 kids in one room), shit his drawers when we arrived in the hotel. He threw his underwear out the window and they landed on a roof not too far down. Everyone could see them with the shit stain in them. It was hilarious for everyone but him.

I've said before that I'm not an anime guy, but I remember watching ninja scroll and thinking it was good. slickdeals tells me the bluray is $12 at amazon and best buy if anyone's interested.

wren or others that hire people regularly. does everyone you hire get hung up on filling out the W4?
Not usually, assuming you give them the page 2 as well as there is a worksheet with instructions. Only a few times have I received a W4 which deviated significantly from the State4 form that I wondered WTH they were doing. Though sometimes that may be because you live in a state that doesn't (didn't) recognize same sex marriage so they couldn't file jointly in the state, but could on the Federal form.

I would have killed myself long ago without central air. Holy shit.
We didn't have central air till we moved in '93. So practically every room that we would spend any amount of time in had ceiling fans installed. Then during the summer it was the art of finding inexpensive places to go during the hottest time of the day that had A/C. So $1 summer movies, shopping (playing the video game demo machine at Sears/Kmart/Walmart), the university natural history museum, the local history museum. the municipal pool, the boys & girls club, the library, etc.

Besides dogs, growing up we had an iguana and a hamster at different times, and they both just pretty much sucked. I love other people's dogs but that's about as far as I go with pets.

I'm glad to hear that you don't go beyond loving other people's dogs.

Sick bastard.

Besides dogs we had 2 rats. Rats are great pets and love to go out in public in shirt pockets. We a had an albino one with red eyes which reminded me of Bunnicula. Most people get so scared of them but they are fantastic pets.

I'm in the part 2, chapter 2 of Yakuza: Dead Souls. I'm liking it quite a bit. The loading isn't near as bad after the first hour or so. The 2nd protagonist is a villanious character who really enjoys killing zombies. Fun game. Still trying to decide if I want to buy the digital version. Statements online indicate that the disc and digital saves aren't compatible, which makes it a harder sell.

The one I've come back to and watched a few times over the year's is the Berserk series, but it appears it's currently out of print and only the more recent 3 movies covering the same narrative ground are available. Compared to the manga, the series botches the early years a bit as it strips out or tones down some of the more disturbing childhood stuff, but I much preferred the anime series' structure. The Manga tells everything chronologically, but the series begins at the present, then jumps back and tells the rest of the story from his early twenties back to the present, and periodically flashes back to his troubled childhood.

Wow, I just looked it up, the set I have is selling (completed listings) for $100+ on ebay.
