The Brink sucks, but I wish it were better. It has decent people in it: Tim Robbins, Carla Gugino, Aasif Mandvi, Pornstache and Jack Black among others.

Ballers is pretty meh, although Rob Corddry is funny as hell.

the games actual "ending" is just as terrible as i remember tho.

Tried a couple matches with randoms to see if my internet would work any better. Still getting a ping of 90+

Suppose that's an improvement from the 600+ "my entire neighborhood is downloading porn" levels it was at earlier, but still. Guess I'll try messing around with the router tomorrow.

fuckin' weird. I was listening to the last Maylene and the Sons of Disaster album to come out and at the end there's a bonus track that's like a dubstep remix of one of the songs on the album. Shit sounds so out of place.

 
I just finished up the story mode of Arkham Asylum. Great game, even coming in as someone who wasn't a big Batman fan. It's not that I didn't like him. I'm just not that familiar with the Batman universe (or any comic universe in general). I've never seen any of the movies other than the first Keaton one, and I've never watched any of the animated stuff. I did watch the Adam West series a fair bit when it was on in reruns back in the day. Outside of Batman and the bigger villains like Joker, Penguin, and Riddler, I'm not at all knowledgeable about any of the other characters. And other than Batman himself, I didn't really know any of the characters' backstories. So I thought it was really cool that they put in the character bios in the game to fill in some of that stuff. I'm definitely looking forward to playing the other games in the series.

I still need to get to the challenges and find about 40 more Riddler trophies for the plat.

Yup. me, the avp of students support, the avp of marketing, the director of advising, and the head of the geosciences department hang out all the time back at home. Despite being in 5 completely different departments, our offices are randomly right next to each and we see each other all the time.

if I had to guess I'd say the head of geosciences is probably the only fun one. I'll bet he's bearded and can drink you under the table.

You're half right. He is the one ive got to know the best, but it has to do with him being the only other person here under 40. Hes just a young hard worker and we have a good amount in common.

Not "bearded" tho, he has a well groomed goatee. definitely not a big drinker either, he mostly drinks wine. Not a whole lot of "old timey prospector" aspects as you think.

Was going to skip this but 16 is too good to pass up. Ordered for in store pickup, always glad my house is right near best buy.

Edit: well piss on best buy. site showed my store had a copy but went to check out and said it didnt. Oh well still available for order and with that sweet sweet elite status get it shipped free, should have tuesday.

I had the same problem--several stores in my area showed it in-stock, but selecting those stores produced "Item Not Available" messages. I also just went with the free Expedited shipping.
