nope, three starred 9/10 by myself. I just came in to work with my vita after lunch, sat at the intern's desk and told him he was going to play this geometry wars level until we three starred it or I would never stop harassing him. got it on the second try.

I never got into them, but I love Phil in Down. He also did this weird southern acoustic-y EP with his wife (at the time) called Southern Isolation. It's pretty good, but nothing like anything else he's done.

Yeah well since she didnt have a full time job until the day before mediation my lawyer said I would be told by the judge to pay all of it. So she advised me to just offer to pay 80% of the mediation. My wife also wanted me to cover $5K in her lawyer costs but we said fuck no and she backed down on that. So I am happy with that. Now if we can get the final docs so we can sign them and get this show on the road I would be real happy.

first time I've ever watched it if you can believe it. and no, I definitely don't play in nerd tournaments. that would require leaving the house and at the very least fooling myself in to thinking I was good at whatever the tournament was about.

My friend had the best divorce when it came to getting out. He did the whole thing by himself and his wife agreed to everything. He ended up with the twins as they'd be better off with him. He did all the research on the matter and was lucky to have a wife that didn't want any of his money but to just be out of the marriage. My friend is much happier these days. I know that situation is RARE.

I went to a few tournaments before. Participated in a few (call of duty, SC2, halo). All I can say that it's fun to be in a environment where everyone loves the game but jesus does it fucking smell. I mean like people there I feel like didn't know that deodorant existed.

I went to a Pokemon tournament once. Lost in the 2nd round because I didn't know that the 3 pokemon team we picked in the first round had to be used in the 2nd round too. I picked my team based on what the first guy had but that screwed me against the 2nd guy.

Not sure on deoderant, don't remember if I was actually old enough to start wearing it yet.

isn't that antithetical to pokemon? I thought the whole idea was that the pokemon trainer people had a shitload of those little balls where they keep those enslaved animals so they can get the right one for the right purpose. they don't just waltz around with three of them and hope that they don't run into something that spits water or whatever, do they?

The wife and I were rather annoyed about this when we turned on NBC last night. Still hoping somebody picks it up, though. Hulu does have the aired episodes, so maybe they'll go for it. The cast has already been released, though, so who knows how likely it is now.

Yeah I went to a Pokemon Tourney when I was little too. I think I cried when I lost in the first round. Then again it was my fault since I chose all Pikachus (there were no rules on duplicate pokemon).

I never got very far on the other games. Always lost in the third or fourth round against a "pro" player. My friend did end up winning an MLG championship for Halo back when it was super popular.

 
I am trying to decide if I should be concerned that I just saw a coworker person who is in the office on occasion useless bitch that shows up sometimes our office manager apparently shopping for assault rifles online after hearing her have a blow up on a cell phone conversation when I walked out the door to pick up lunch.

 
I guess I did participate in the nintendo world championships.  does that count as nerd tournament?  I got on stage for the finals but choked on rad racer because fuck rad racer.

 
Switch Galaxy Ultra - Nothing really stands out or is challenging about the game. You kinda just ride the rails in each level avoiding obstacles and stuff. There's no major penalty for hitting things, or not completing the level in a proper time, or anything. 

I like the idea, but the execution was bad. I need to be penalized for hitting obstacles, not just that I lose a few seconds off my meaningless completion time. You're actually incentivized to go slow through the levels. It would have been cool if it made proper objectives. Imagine a racing game where you're only objective is to complete the race, it doesn't matter what place you finish in. That's how Switch Galaxy Ultra is.

Zimm reviewed it I think.

I think I might rather get shot than have to be nice to that waste of oxygen her. I do have an advantage though. I am the only one in an office where my desk faces the door. I will at least be able to see her coming. I guess I need to find out if my window is safety glass or not though.
